Instead of giving us an express.... we ended up not having any episode for the next 3 days. Airing of the next episodes will start on the 29th till May 3 with 1 episode a day. Youku sucks!!!

Well what else is new here in MDL? I've yet to see a drama without any bad comment... No negative comments is rare as like watching a Kdrama without a chaebol, Chinese historical drama without political conflicts or a romance drama without an annoying 2nd lead. If you will take seriously every comment here you might end up not watching anything hehe. As long as we all agree to disagree, respect each other's opinion... everything will be fine... to each his own. Let's just enjoy the drama together. Anyone who does not like what they are watching is free to drop and find something else that they can enjoy watching. Time is gold!!

Agree, am sick and tired of Asian dramas prolonging conflicts and with too many unnecessary angst. Most Kdramas has a chaebol in lead roles, most Chinese historical dramas has a lot of political conflicts. I'm watching this since it is a refreshing, slice of life drama in a historical setting. No unnecessary conflict, love misunderstandings, annoying 2nd lead. The last drama which is a slow burn one that I enjoyed so much is Meet Myself. It's so relaxing... wish there be more like that and this one.

NO, not a fan of Chinese historical dramas... watched & finished only a few. L&R, LLTG, LBFD. I enjoy watching animes more than watching dramas hahaha. The only Cdrama am watching right now aside from this one is Judge Dee.

IMHO given her character... she is one that thinks more of others than herself. She will never compromise the safety of other people for her own happiness. She's the type of person that weigh in things...it's always reason over emotion. She knows fully well, the emperor is crazy ...one obsessed with displaying his power. One wrong move, then more innocent people will get hurt and that is something she will never allow. She has shown YX how much she values him, accepted everything about him...now it is his turn to prove to her that he is worthy of her trust and love. This is just my POV. It's good to share our thoughts this way. This is something that I really miss, from the soompi drama forum, when people freely discuss their thoughts to better appreciate the drama

He wants to be part of every family that has won the admiration of people hahaha. He is miserable and has very low self esteem. Very insecure, he trusts no one, cannot live in peace, always afraid someone might take away the throne from him. What a waste of an otherwise fruitful life!!!
