I see some comments on Douyin talking negative things about ZLS's eyelid tapes. I really applaud her for continuing to use it instead of getting eye surgery. I saw a documentary that it's very prevalent in China and Korea. Honestly, it is less distracting than eyelid surgeries.
I wish that people wouldn't be so mean. Criticism like this forces actresses who don't have the natural double eyelids to get eye surgeries. Ultimately, it harms their acting because you can tell they got surgeries.
I hope she can always say this to people who criticize her looks!

NO ONE is talking about the age gap BECAUSE it's not an issue here. 1) it fits the storyline 2) Yes, he looks old than her, but they are convincing as a couple and have chemistry. I watch Kdrama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty, she's way older than him, but the chemistry made it seem transparent and you don't think about it so there was no issue there either.
I don't like it when people talk about age gap if there is no issue. I think the focus should be on the storyline, the acting, and chemistry. These are actors. It's not real life. It's incorrect to get personal about looks or age!
And yes, there were complaints about agism for this drama from day 1 when the casting was announced. I blocked everyone who talked about that instead of the acting because it's just noise.

I think he is the first person who cares for her besides her grandma. A few details from the drama: 1) he gave the jelly - reminds her of her grandma 2) he turns off AC for her when he noticed she was cold 3) he took her to the hospital and gave her a cute bandaid 4) he says he loves her 5) the similarities in their loneliness/isolation Initially, I didn't like how the story is presented. I feel it's choppy. However, there are evidences that they want to hide his scheming from the audience for a big reveal later on! I am slowly changing my view about this drama after episode 7.
