Eps 7 seems to be the turning point for me. The story gets more interesting as details of her and his characters are revealed. They help each other in the background. In a way, they are similar, growing up isolated and always have to fight for themselves. I like William Chan in this role. He nails it. I hope people who get discouraged in the beginning because of the way the story was presented continue to watch because I think as the story develops, it gets better.
Depends on what you like. This is a show thats heavy on the secrets and scheming, calculating ML and FL. I find…
I am a fan of ZLS but I say it like it is. This drama is a little disappointing for me because I was hoping that it will be a huge departure point for her like Love in the Galaxy, Hidden Love, etc. However, the drama itself is entertaining. As a fan, I always hope that a good actress like her deserve the best story.
I feel they did an abrupt change too, but this drama really is about 3 perspectives so I can't fault them for that. Usually, C drama is very methodical. Every 10 eps there is a major change. So They didn't do anything atypical.
First 2 eps were fun to watch. Didn't think too much about age gap because the chemistry is there. Yoona acted convincing (or should I say fit better) in this drama compared to her previous one that I saw (King of Land)
I agree with you. Her biggest problem is managing public opinion (not fanbase opinion). She needs a strong team…
Thank you. I don't know how PR works in China. I hope she wasn't being blackmailed into signing the contract. I wouldn't put it past a Chinese company!

It seems kind of strange that she doesn't have a PR team to manage her image. I think the reality show also needs so PR editing too. It also seems strange that she knows the company is bad but yet still signed on with them.
The whole statement screams they are willing to play even dirtier. They are positioning themselves as the gracious…
I agree with you. Her biggest problem is managing public opinion (not fanbase opinion). She needs a strong team to not sound like an entitled emotional actress.
Not just public opinion, but the government needs to be on board. So far, this mental distress is not viewed positively in China. They don't to want to hear about it.
I feel that her posts appealing to the fans might be viewed negatively in China. Even when I read it myself, it feels emotional and raw, unedited by PR.
If she has a case against the company, it's best to lawyer up and hire PR to manage public opinion. It's not like in America where freedom to speak is beneficial. The bullies in a communist country are not easily defeated with emotional appeals.
The Chinese people and government, who are not in her fan base, need to be on board. And they are not easy to convince. She should give concrete evidences of unfair practices. I can see the company already took advantage of this fact and tries to blemish her post with reasoning.
I support her quest but feel very troubled for her. It's going to be a long battle.
