Another thing that I think it's a plot hole is Wangquan Hong Ye already know how to deal with evil psychological games, why he doesn't train is group to deal with them before the battle?
Anyways, the final battle that eliminated so many of the masked group. Doesn't make sense to kill off everyone at once!

3) The psychological games that the black fox plays - do make sense in some relationship though.

2) the sabotage of the masked group is predictable because we already know Yang Yi Tan is possessed.

1) ZZ was killed by Qing Mu Yuan because she was possessed. I don't like this. Feels contrived.

Couldn't help but checked out the last scenes of ep 36.

I think it shows that he cares about an individual instead of the big goal/institution (as he did when he was 16 and other times when he was not saving her friend). She felt that he has changed to a better person. She cries tears of happiness and being touched by his caring.

I agree. Both kisses seem so awkward. Like she's a mannequin. I have seen her kissed in another drama before marriage- it was way more authentic.

I think the story is a little bit convoluted in the beginning because of all the extra characters. Too many people died. But that's the theme: humans and demons will fight until evil is eradicated. People who watch this story for all the so called "famous" idols will be disappointed because they are there as cameos to gain new fans. The true famous star of this drama is
Liu Shi Shi. If you don't know her, do some research and watch some of her famous dramas (starting with Scarlet Heart 1) .

I can't wait to see more development in this story and the Sword and Beloved. These stories remind me of those old Jin Yong stories with new Xianxia twists.

I think he's not in the same caliber as LSS. However, he's a decent actor. I haven't seen any of his dramas because they are mostly action. He might be paired with her because they are similar age. It might have to do with cost and availability too. They paid a lot already for her so most likely they are not going to hire an expensive actor.
I also noticed the LSS is mostly NOT paired with younger actors. This is a smart move on her part. There's no point to get paired with 20-something actors who will look too young compared to her.

Think of this as a theme, which is the main problem addressed in this drama: humans and demons are killing each other. Until the evils are vanquished, good people will still die.
