After eps 23, this is the first drama that I don't like the FL. That selfish ruthlessness and arrogance. Hopefully, she will have a redemption arc. It's one thing for female to be in control but another to be selfish and not considering her partner's feelings. Female empowerment doesn't mean women losing empathy and take control of others' lives without permission.

So far I've rated this drama a 9+ for being entertaining even with plot holes. But with only 1/3 of total episodes left, and they are throwing in fillers in 20-21, I might need to lower my rating at the end. I hope it's not a SE just to promote women's right.

His acting is decent. However, people are comparing him with the other ML in The Double (same author, and typical stoic male leads). In that case, the other actor is more expressive. Even though he is supposed to be stoic, he still needs to show some emotions with his eyes, and deliver the jokes more convincingly.

That's because the Glory has a better storyline, cliff hangers. This story has been slow. I like both leads but I can't get into it.

I think the production has more issues than this. :-) It's not well executed. But the story is more entertaining than most higher end dramas right now for me. Some people call it low-budget- I have to agree.

This story has potential. It's just poorly executed. I think the production should be 40 eps to properly build up the story correctly. The way it is, things seem to be abrupt, just a comic movie. Some people call it low budget so I have to agree. That's how it feels for me. I wish they can remake it with more budget. Sometimes I feel like I was watching one of those mini-series- lots of sensational details.

I agree. This story has been good so far. However, the execution of the flashbacks and the director who has been executing this has been terrible. Oh well, I still give it a high rating because it's entertaining, although some plots make no sense. Like this wimpy burning of the maps to make the emperor protect him.
