Title Healer
This is an awesome drama, fast paced mystery, suspenseful, with superb acting across the board. Its back story is initially a bit vague but with each epi the facts are piecing together and offers enough hints to keeping the viewer hungry for more. The lead actress is genuinely endearing and Park Young-Shin expresses Young-Shin's seemingly simple but complex nature well. Ji Chang-Wook, to capture the essence of this man you have to be at the top of physical game, able to morph into diametrically opposing character in an instant and look pretty damn good doing it all with the hidden charm of Cyrano de Bergerac, not an easy feat for any actor but Chang-Wook does with sweeping agility. Kim Mi-Kyung role is a character not to be forgotten, and the life line to healers physical health, she's in full mojo character-delightful. Each epi ends with one prevailing angst: "I can't wait for next week." The word in the OST will knock on your heart hard and forever, the words in the song "and I wont let go" will always trigger, what a gift Healer was to dramadum..

Yes, having this drama follow Healer was a saving grace for me, it filled the emptiness and I didn't fall into the dull drums.

i have watched the first episode but i didn't really like it! i won't drop it because of the 1st impression. are…
definitely stick with it. Yi Seok and Hong-Do develop a sincere connection and the back story unfolds in good pace. The pull of this drama is in the quality of the acting and the progressively stronger and stronger script, it creeps up on your and then before you know it, this drama is in you. You'll find it streaming through you in your every day life and by the end of your day if your smiling it will probably be bec of this drama.

I appreciate the added bio on him. I fell in love with Siwan after having been treated to his award winning performance in Misaeng, he was Daebak. His expressions his demeanor, every cell of his body spoke and the character- "Geu Rae", through and through. For such a young actor he had the veteran skills of making me feel like I went through a knot hole with him.

I find it puzzling how YWCFTS received both Best Korean drama and Most overrated drama I'm incline to agree with…
Your response was helpful, thanks. The way you quantified and the fact yes the same person wouldn't have voted for both Best and overrated makes it clearer.

I find it puzzling how YWCFTS received both Best Korean drama and Most overrated drama I'm incline to agree with the latter. Isn't it by definition a contradiction- Best and overrated? And again I'm scratching my head as to why Misaeng wasn't on the list, for me it puts this whole awards process into question, or at least their process criteria.

Honestly YWCFTS pretty much only deserved the most overrated drama I mean it was good, but it wasn't THAT good...?…
Yes I'm disappointed that Kim Soo-Hyun got best actor not bec He didn't do a good job, but the role itself was not that demanding or required top notch skill to convince the viewers. I saw him in the movie Secretly Greatly and he showed excellent acting skills in that role which was much more dynamic. The award should have gone to Jo In Sung for his command performance of a difficult character. At least they got the OST correct, The ost was sooo synchronized with the feel and tone of the IOTL drama.

Incomplete Life should be on the list :(
Totally, absolutely without a doubt should have been on the list. For me Misaeng was 10+, off the chart cerebral drama that sucked you in every which way to brilliance. Actually I'm shocked and dazed why it wasn't a contender.

Just a side note this author is the same author that wrote Faith, which I really enjoyed but heard that the stroy was not presented in its original full length, being cut short bec of budget and delays, just makes me wonder even more how magnificent it could have been.

Person Byun Yo Han
I'm so impressed with his comedic timing and physicality when he's in camera zone it's difficult to appreciate other actors in the scene. He really brings his character to the full attention of the viewers with his skillful portrayal of Suk Yool, his skills for acting have matched "Misaeng's" brilliantly written screenplay. After his performance in Misaeng directors and authors should be vying for his attention.

Why am I attracted to Han Suk Yool? Ohmygawwd.
I am really taken by Byun Yo Han's ability to be so animated in timing and physicality- so impressive. Being one of 4 memebers of the office newbie ensemble, Suk Yool is quite a character of insightful wit, and comic relief, liken to a court jester. I worry for Suk Yool, for being a court jester can be perilous, in history the court jester's head could be cut off in an instant, on a king's whim. I hope his own suspicions don't come back to bite, as a result of an over worked imagination. Everyone in this drama is very precious, I, bec of my investment of these characters, will curse or mourn if any ill winds blows on them.

This is just like pinnochio?! Are they competing or somethin? All to do with reporters...I wonder which drama…
I agree with you, it seems to have a slightly different premise and I think less romantic emphasis, but we'll find out once we watch. Either way it appears it will be an interesting watch on its' own merits. I love the Chang Wook.

this drama looks like it could be a difficult watch bec of the social injustice and the stratified class system that breeds ill treatment of the defenseless. I predict: it will be probably one of those dramas that will be well written and the acting compelling enough to endure the pain to the end but not one you'd watch more than once, even if you gave it a rating of 8 or better.

Darn.. why Oh Ji Ho? :(
I disagree, he is more then capable of playing much younger then his age, he has the depth and reach of a diverse and talented actor.

On Misaeng: Incomplete Life Dec 8, 2014
This drama has capped 2014 as the most memorable years for best quality dramas. It's difficult to give the # 1 spot to a drama when you've got IO,TL, FTLY and Pinnochio and this, off the chart tremendous drama, but Misaeng has my vote for #1. The heft and quality of the dialgue that this drama relys on to reveal a seemingly mundane office environment and peel back the true complexity of interoffice politics is so emotionally vivid. Each person leaves the drama format and transforms into a known person, of a personel or professional connection - each with a pulse that you feel compelled to reach out and feel (the desire to touch best-quality). I love the way the writer, Jung Yoon-Jung analogizes the rules and principal strategies of Baduk and has Gu Rae integrates these principals to improvise, adapt and work around office personalities and politics. The strongest pull that draws these 4 charachters together is there core value system of ingetrity and as viewers they're speaking the language we aspire to.

This drama has taken me totally by surprise, who would of thought that a drama set in an office environment would harbor such tension and dynamics (U can tell I've never step foot into an office environment) This screenwriter has made a mundane office setting and charged it with characters of piss and vinegar, power and might and giving us a revealing tail of ethic and etiquette. Siwan reveales a will of steel under his soft but sincere self deprecating demeanor. So far I'm impressed with the writers Yoon Tae Ho and Jung Yoon Jung. Definitely has my interest peaked at how this seemingly nondescript lowly office worker will survive and will he eventually succeed beyond all odds and expectations. Surrounding supporting cast fill out this drama and give it further interest and a real office milieu.

Title Best Wedding
Ki Young, is trying to survive in and break free from some age old societal shackles. Then you have Tae Yeon, emotionally stunted r/t his fathers tyranny struggling to find the confidence to pursue his heart's one true love(bashert). They are up against 2 major opposing forces. These 2nd leads display a level of blackmailing that will curl ur toes. I have 1 take back: The 2 secondary, roles are written too exaggerated, to a breaking point beyond credibility, with the trope of jilted 2nd female overplayed to ad nauseam. It's my ardent hope that despite some overplayed tropes the underlying message is heard and felt. I'm encouraged that this drama is a gadfly to evaluate old social morale-cages. I hope people realize that changing age old traditions doesn't mean denouncing their country's rich history but that a THINKING COUNTRY, changes, adapt, and improves when it benefits its' greatest asset: its' common man/women.
