On Sweden Laundry Nov 25, 2014
Sweden laundry looks promising, l'm thinking it will have the laundress like a empathic-Sherlock Holmes-of life-conduct. Who can deduce by examining the quality, type and age of the patrons clothes: their present and past hx and even a hint at their health and love status. I love offbeat genres because it allows the writer more imaginative creative licensing. I HOPE weather it be, cool and lighthearted or serious and knee dropping that it will, draw me in, through and around, above and beyond, to a satisfying ending.

Well worth 16 hours of watching. Woo Sung and Soo Young are tremendous- their chemistry is so complete and touches all senses 100%. out of the 3 Asian drama sites I watch my Kdramas on only Soompi had the licensing to show it, and I am so grateful. This drama has been a special treat, it has introduced me to a new face and Soo Young as Bom-Yi and reminded me of some rarely seen face of Kam Woo-Sung as Dong-Ha but non the less very talented. This drama is a sweetly unhurried melodrama but not so slow that you'd be tapping ur knee saying alright already let move along. This drama is filled with tender healing despite painful hx.and touches on a mystical aspect of love, brilliantly expressed by the 2 lead actor. The secondary characters the 2 asst to the leads added charm and lightened the mood. The age gap is a thought that is in and out of mind faster then a tweet, in great part bc of the chemistry. The 2 child actors really pulled off a top notch performance. Definite a sleeper well worth watching.

Great start, but eurgh, too many bad wigs in one episode!
LOL your comment about the wigs got me -funny- luckily (I think) there just transitional wigs until the drama progresses- you had me laughing though.

Would love to watch it because I really like Lee Jong Suk´s acting BUT so far I disliked PSH in all her dramas…
I agree I think she's finally drawling from her past roles and is presenting a more seasoned aspect of her abilities, her nuances are more honed and individual to the role she's playing, making a believer out of me, it took awhile but I think she's finally getting there. PHS as an individual has always been a very gracious and poised young lady.

OMG(gosh) he is absolutely brilliant in the historical drama Ryoma Den 2010 as Ryoma. He does have an aura of humble self assurance, that can be seen so gracefully through his acting.

Title RYOMADEN
This historical drama is a time piece that draws you in and immerses you in the stratified, disciplined samurai culture. The cinematography offers a richness to the writers vision that puts the viewer in the moment as they were there in real time as a silent observer. The actor playing Ryoma gives the character everything that the writer could want from an ace actor. There is a thread of romance that is a heart wrenching, that rivals, almost but not quite like a Romeo and Juliet tragedy, It is a crucial jolt to the Japanese closed-off culture to have overbearing self-righteous Americans pressures to open up trade. Ryoma is a intelligent humanitarian giant who leaves his mark and honors the Japanese history. History is marker with player and people and some are remembered for their good and some are remembered for their evil but Ryoma was a unique and spiritual man that brought honor and a sense of high GRACE to history of Japan. I am so glad that DF is airing this Jdrama-Jdrama's industry has proven that they can produce Historical dramas just as well any other country.

Oh, well, I never saw the original (was it Taiwanese). But without fear I might say this can stand alone on its' own merit. Such a moving drama.

Title Best Wedding
The Greatest Wedding is wonderfully written and has sparked much needed discussions of age old shackles that are imposed on women. Gi Yoeng is a rough tough don't take shit off of no body(but not really) 21st century woman. The other major player in this drama is Tae Yeon a wounded immature but trying to find his center, step up to the plate- do the right thing, but is ham strung by insecurity served to him by his maniacal father. The two 2ndary lead actors Eun Cha is devious in a Machiavellian way and Myeong Yi the 2nd female lead is out and out coiled viper. The social challenges that face Gi Yeong are not common themes in Kdrama and has been the gadfly to needed conversation. I hope that Korea realized that changing, adapting, improving women's roles is not denouncing its' rich cultural heritage. But that a thinking country will bend and bow and strike down oppressive role definitions when it's to the benefit of its' greatest asset: Its' common men/women.

On The Man from Nowhere Oct 21, 2014
Want to watch a movie that will stay with you for years to come and reset your benchmark for excellence, then treat yourself to this Michelin star rated cinematic platinum rated movie. Won Din holy mackerel his performance was sharp and tight he will impress you with his fighting prowess. To make up for few words, he has an all telling stare that tells you he's quiet but deadly accurate. Sae Ra was equally mesmerizing, she was her character through and through. This is not an easy watch it is filled with ugly characters in an disturbing underworld of child exploitations. The tile A Man From Nowhere is apply named bc Won Bin from nowhere quietly but with stealth and few words saves the quivering hope within the heart of a child. Man was I impressed with everything about this movie especially the acting, I rate this a 10. .

Jang Hyuk & Na Ra brought the writers creative writing to a life pulsing reality, I was 100% into the characters. I hadn't seen Jang HYuk play an off beat type of character before, but he sure pulled off with style and finesse Na Ra- I couldn't imagine another actress doing any better with this role then she did, with her eyes and slight tilt of her chin she had me. The drama starts off light but your quickly drawn into deeper emotional waters. The director, the actors the writers and Ailee's ost (Oh what a tremendous voice) all blended into a creative kiln that set our hearts glowing. this Follow a close 2nd to IO,TL for 2014.

Hyun Bin is all I need to know I'm in the minute is his mane is uttered-hallelujah! I kind of fear for SBS starting off 2015 with (what I predict will be their Daebak drama) there strongest dram it' really going to be a struggle for them after this drama to not have the rest of the year comparatively dull and anticlimactic.

No Hee-Kyung's genius, It's Ok, That's Love blindside the whole drama world, dazzling us to the moon and back with its' touching brilliance. Alert: this drama is a game changer- it will change your emotional and behavioral optics. This drama has knocked me down and shot through my soul an astonishing amount of emotions. I feel at the deepest level, my emotional compass was been reset. 100 muses wouldn't have one tenth the persuasion power that was delivered by Jo In Sung and Hyo-Jin and the rest of the outstanding supporting cast. The music and this drama are so inextricably connected- tight as a DNA sequence. I offer the deepest gratitude and a humble bow to screenwriter No Hee-Kyung for you are the corner stone for this magnificent tolerance - inscribed drama.

Is Park Tae Yeon the second lead? I want him to be the first though. I watched too many dramas where I disliked…
As far as I see Tae Yeon is the lead. I've really been captured by this drama. If you already like Min Woo you will enjoy him as Tae Yeon- go for it- treat your self.

It's a nice Rom/Com...but the main lead is a despicable leech (at least for now) while the 2nd lead is an irresponsible…
Yes his execution was not thought out well but he's not been show to lead with thoughtfulness and understanding of others his soul has bee stifled. I think his interactions have been survival reactive. I guess my point is, I see genuine redeeming Potential, doesn't he deserve the benefit of the doubt- as the title implied, The Best Wedding, why give up that potential partnership?

Dong Wook is incredible, he's really showcasing his versatility. He and secretary Ko who is sooo tightly focused on all things Hong Bin are an absolute riot. Se Dong is acting is not taking away from the drama or her coe-actors but I find her voice grading (especially when she repeatedly called for the "president") and her expressions unvaried- surprise and maybe slightly more surprise is all I see come across her face, besides that I love this drama.
