Does anyone know what is this drama about??
According to the Baidu Baike page, it's about a woman that moves to Hong Kong in the '80s, with her husband who runs a tea shop, she has a daughter, and then he dies. With the help of her husband's friends, she runs the business and prospers, eventually opening branches in the Mainland. It tells the subsequent history of Hong Kong from their perspective, the handover to the Mainland, SARS, etc., in (obviously) a pro-China perspective.

Title The Advisors Alliance Spoiler
Which onw is historically correct ,, The advisors Alliance or Secrets of the three kingdoms drama ?
Neither. They are based on historical events to a point, but not entirely. Some things in this drama that are different include Sima Fang's death, which happened before Cao Cao died in real life, not years later. Xun Yu's death is also changed a lot. Other points seem quite similar to the account given in history, as far as I've read, like Cao Pi and Cao Rui hunting and Rui refusing to kill the fawn, or Yang Xiu being executed over chicken ribs.

How exactly does the release work? I've watched four episodes. I see that from 7, it's members only. Will this be the case for a long period of time/forever? Or will they be available to non-subscribers after a few days? $4/month isn't bad, I'd do it if necessary, but if it's just to get out of a couple day wait, I can be patient.

A cast full of baby faces. Especially for historical dramas, since they tend to be more serious, I can't watch…
Are they not teenagers? They are students

So did Cao Cao actually execute Yang Xiu because he was running out of time and he accepted Zihuan as his heir?
That would be my guess. After all the things he got off with.

Has this been subtitled? It seems like it's on Netflix (which I don't subscribe to). Or is that just season 2/3? I can't find English subtitles anywhere I've looked. If it hasn't been, I'm strongly inclined to make some myself. It's exactly the kind of drama I've been studying Classical and Modern Chinese for four years to be able to translate, but there's no point if somebody's already done it (unless they're really shoddy).

strange... i think that his acting is top notch. he depicted awkward reserved yet smart and skilled kid very well.…
I complained about Yibo. I can't stand his emotionless characters, but I thought he was absolutely phenomenal in Legend of Fei, which makes complete use of his emotional range.

are they never airing this? :(
Probably never. I've been checking back every couple months, just as I see you have been. I absolutely loved William Yang in Condor Heroes, been so eager to watch this. But his career is over. He was connected to the nude apparent suicide of an actress.

SUPRISINGLY THIS DRAMA IS NOT SUBBED. what do they fear contraveries or they don't want it to stop airing since…
Many, many dramas are unsubbed. Often, subbing is done by fans, amateurs, not by the production company.

How devastating! It's over! There may have been one or two times I've let a tear drip in the past, before this show. But only for this show did I not feel a little awkward for crying over fiction. For the first three years of watching dramas, I mostly just watched historical, wuxia, the odd mystery, but even though I've changed in the last few months, my conversion is now complete. This is probably the most perfect drama of them all.

Person Tu Song Yan
For some reason he reminds me so, so much of Darren Chan in Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty.

This is such a great, but also at times weird, drama. I'm only 25 or so episodes in, I expect it's gonna get a lot more awkward (Tan Songyun does an expert job at manifesting awkwardness in her behavior and expressions). At times it seems a little too sappy and at others too coincidental - like when a series of injuries occurred all in a row, from the grandma to the mom to the dad to Jianjian - but those are very minor peccadillos in relation to such an endearing, captivating story.

I usually avoid romance like the plague, so this was a first for me. I've seen a Korean romance (Crash Landing on You) and a Japanese (An Incurable Case of Love), both of which I thought were good, so I went with a Chinese romantic comedy drama. I enjoyed it. The abrupt tonal shift in the last half dozen episodes, followed by how rushed the last episode was, represent the biggest complaint I have. But it was a lovely watch with a terrific male cast. Incidentally, it was Zhao Fanzhou I liked the least, but judging from the personalities of the others, he was the best fit for Zhou Xiao. I will probably be watching another Li Geyang drama eventually, I would give anything a chance for another chance to gaze upon his adorable visage.

My biggest problem with this drama was in the first few episodes: Everything was so frenetic, emotions jumped between two states - calm and screaming - and it just had an all-around American feel, a feel which drove me to Asian entertainment to begin with. But it did improve a lot over the next few episodes. Halfway through, hopefully it continues to get better.

A surprisingly enjoyable drama! I've only ever seen taiga dramas from Japan, while most of my drama intake is historical and wuxia, but I will probably be more open-minded about all the other genres I have typically avoided after this. It had a few awkward moments, like when Sakura would appear with her Hero's crown, sword and shield, which occurred once per episode, and her outspokenness about her feelings in public settings tended to be a bit grating, but they did a good job constructing a range of characters with their own desires and motivations, though I did feel that the good new nurse whose name escapes me should have been a little more hostile towards Sakura. Finally, it was quite unexpected to see Himura Kenshin! I hadn't realized he was in it when I put it on first and it took maybe half an hour for me to place him.

Does the novel have an official translation? or at least a fansub that isn't google translated? The show is so…
It's a case of the movie (or drama, in this case) surpassing the book. I've only read a bit of the book (in Chinese) before deciding it's a lot better seen on the screen than read. There are some interesting bits to the book but the drama is just so masterful that it's not worth it.

I thought China has banned time travel dramas, or are time loops a separate category? :-)
I've lost count of the number of times I've heard that China banned something only for me to see it a little while later in a drama, from earrings to BL to time travel to long dramas and so much more.
