Honestly, I wasn't sold on either main and secondary couple. It looked like they were forced to be a pair. Not even slightly natural to gaslight myself into thinking "wow what a delight to see this pair together". It would've been more bearble for me if seong jae had chosen to stay single cause then I would only have to bear with one forced pairing. The third one was ok-ish enough to stay for but from the looks of comments here it seems like they got separated.
I think we're going in circles. I just want to confirm one thing. It appears from the synopsis as if villainess had died and her soul time travelled to actress's body instead of going to afterlife. It doesn't explicitly say that actress also died in present day. Is it correct?
I find it interesting that many commenters strongly object to the violent scenes between Jorn and Chain.. But…
blud people only have problem with romanticisng rape which is justified. I remember they played a sort of tune which only suits in soft fluff romance drama over the scene of him getting raped. Is it ok to try to normalise it like that on television? If you wanna portray it as "toxic" relationship then please choose bgm in disturbing scenes like rape according to it to showcase that raping someone is NOT ideal for two people to be in a "TOXIC or DARK" relationship. Hell, actual dark romances sex scenes happen to let of the steam caused by their mutual attraction under the wrong circumstances.
It seemed like a high-budget movie. Movie makers tend to forget that high budget doesn't automatically equal to quality. The only thing which I was invested in throughout the whole movie was the present day conversation at a wedding.
so actress would have to die to give villainess a hea? That is what I don't understand. Various formulaic plots do get tweaked over time to appear as "fresh" but this aspect of time travel remains same.
I came for noona romance and it wasn't much here. I didn't get how they began to like eachother. I would get it if he somehow made it easier for her to get her revenge. For ML to claim "she or no one" they should've had something more than just meeting a couple times prior to it.
ngl it was fun to watch. It was a rare sight to see a very open-minded older step- brother who was not a homophobe. I bet he wouldn't have a problem even if gu chen was in his own body. He said to him "it's not unethical since we're just step-bro's"😂 even before the big reveal that he knew all along it was gu chen in wen ci's body.
Another quote from FL along the lines of "she may be happier as an ordinary woman in another life."
It is incredibly ironic and apalling to still see this trend in 2026 asian dramas. A woman isn't actually at rest or leading an ideal life regardless of her socioeconomic status or appearance. Instead, she is perpetually battling repercussions just to get by.
"I'm not like those other women out there. I cannot accept you having multiple wives." - FL Girl, nobody did. They were forced to or they would be homeless. It was ok to state it explicitly but why bring "THOSE other women" into it.
I was already craving a good new noona romance, so I'll take whatever they give me until they let me down 😅Do…
I think the best way to look for new shows is this. In the upcoming section of shows. You'll see "sort by" filter. Clink on it and find "recently added" in its list. Make sure to uncheck upcoming in "status".

Girl, rinse and repeat has been prevalent in noona romance since forever. My patience has ran out and I'm so sick of it now. It's not like creative concepts are not getting pumped out each year. Just why can't they be applicable to noona romance as well? Even oppa romances get much more creative than this sometimes which adds to frustation.
The only thing which I disliked was that their acting wasn't convincing. I mean even if everybody knows this ain't anything your job is to gaslight us into believing otherwise.
