I really, really love this drama! I enjoyed every part of it. The leads were amazing, the cinematography was great,…
Yes, I agree! His screen time made me focus more on his face than his acting—it felt like he was constantly posing for the camera. It definitely brought back memories of my old crush on him, lol. Still, it was nice seeing Jin and Oguri share the screen in the same drama.
Honestly, I cried like a baby near the end of the episode because I felt so bad for Bongsu. He was a kid living…
I get where you’re coming from — Bongsu definitely crossed lines sometimes, and it could feel uncomfortable. But for me, I didn’t see him as some pervert, more like a lost kid who never got the chance to grow up or learn boundaries. He was stuck in this childlike state but inside a teenager’s body, which made everything more awkward. That’s why I felt bad for him — he didn’t know how to deal with his feelings properly, and it just came out wrong.
I also don’t think the drama was saying Seong-ah owed him love, but just that his yearning to experience love and life was tragic. That’s why his last moments hit me so hard — it was more about the sadness of an unlived life than excusing his behavior. Let's not forget he was literally a kid sent to the military at a young age and didn't get to see his mom before passing. It's not that he asked to be there in the first place tbh. I still think Gyeon-woo and Seong-ah’s bond was the heart of the story, but Bongsu added that bittersweet layer.
I waited so long to watch this in one go because the moment I saw the trailer, I knew I’d love it. I saved it…
Honestly, I cried like a baby near the end of the episode because I felt so bad for Bongsu. He was a kid living his last moments alone in the mountains without a friend to care for him. I felt every emotion of his wanting to be human because he never truly got to live his life. I also thought Yeon Hwa had it too easy, getting away with everything despite all she did. She got on my nerves a lot lol! Overall, the drama wasn't bad. I did wish the episodes weren't so choppy from the middle to the end, which made me confused in certain parts.
