everyone is guessing who angel is but i am just here thinking about the possibilities of chan's ex-wife hiring destiny to get back together with her husband. i mean with the patterns they followed in the past episodes, it makes sense right?
well i generally liked it because of the "will meet and fall for you in every universe" concept but the execution is all over the place. 6.5/10, their chemistry made it work for me.
it's weird. you know when a series has this high school/college to working scene timeline, you feel that nostalgia. like "wow they started over there and now they are here" kinda thing. i didn't feel even a bit of that for this one. anyways, it was okay generally but the last few eps just didn't do it for me. 7.5/10 :>
i was in the mood for it. i normally don't go for slow burns. i listed some points if you are still having trouble deciding whether to watch it or not.
for the stroy, 80% of it is just their love story and the remaining 20% of it is storylines revolving around their jobs, FL's trauma with her crazy ex boyfriend and tiny bit is other couples' stories which have the total screentime of 10 or so minutes.
i might not watch it until its ends. i am going to watch it in one go to keep my interest stable throughout the series but in the meantime i will rewatch sotus hehe i am so excited
youku??? so the no of eps will go down. hopefully it won't turn out like ski into love. that one was a mess towards the end because they cut so much :<
if you feel sad about being single, don't worry at all. this drama will take it a step further and make you feel miserable about it.
anyways, that was such a good watch. it's just so calm and peaceful. there was no unnecessary drama. the misunderstandings were only between the couple with no third party involved so that's great. the only frustrating thing would be that crazy and toxic ex bf. he almost didn't fit in with the calm vibe this show was going for but i guess if he wasn't so bad, she wouldn't be suffering with insomnia.
8/10, if you feel like just sitting back to watch something, not stress about or eat your nails out of anger and frustration, this is the one. though you might need a lot more patience. it focuses mostly on main cp, extremely slow burn and they only get together at around 18th ep so yah you will need that patience but i promise, definitely worth it :)
lin yishen and shan chong from ski into love sound so similar. does anyone know if they used a voice actor or if i am just confused? i keep thinking about it so i had to ask
i think i am seeing a pattern over here like just how many times did the memory forgetting or brainwashing concept show up?
let's get to it. it started off really good you know i was floating on that bliss of starting a new drama and it being so good but then suddenly, it fell off during those mitu valley episodes. that's why, even though i started it around december of 2024, i still wasn't able to pick it back up until a few days ago. it's just that initial eps were so good so i expected something better so ya it fell off but not to the depths of hell, so i did eventually gather enough interest to continue it and you know what? although it was like a cycle of "we're so back" and "it's so over", i mostly enjoyed it.
i have my complaints though. i don't know if anyone will understand this sentence but what i am trying to say is, the concept of each situation is well written which distracted me from focusing on the inconsistency of the details in that particular situation and what it is doing for the overall story. they tried to tie all those inconsistencies neatly with a bow by bringing in personal story and sentiment at the end and it was actually working on me until those last few mins of the last ep. so while i enjoyed it, i can't help but have questions. anyways, i threw my logical reasoning out so we're good now.
BUT WHAT'S WITH THE ENDING? i don't even need kisses but i was so sad that they weren't even shown in same frame. i really hate it when things end like that. i read on twt when it was airing about some chinese censorship. i don't remember what i read but i think we should start blaming them for everything. fuck this chinese censorship for pushing my grandma off a building.
anyways, 8/10. i have liked many works of both the actors and that's not going to change anytime soon :)
for the romance, it will start early but they just don't have a name for it until later. its sweet but you know how frustrating pre-relationship phase of main leads can be like all is well but they be in denial 😩 this drama barely has anyone trying to get in between them so that's a plus. they get together in 18th ep btw.
