Is there even room to overhype it? It practically just came out.
Actually when it comes to this movie then yeah, this movie came out first in 2022 as a japanese movie so when people heard that we we will get it in korean with korean cast etc. they really hyped it on yt shorts, tik tok and instagram. They said it's one of the saddest japanese movies, that it's really tragic and in general it's just very sad. So I think they kinda overhyped it on the "how sad this movie is" subject.
His secret is totally about being gay, I don't think it's confirmed but looking at the scenes with him and how the director is not scared to show queer love I absolutely think it's that. The scene with him "confessing" to the other boy and the scene where he was driving with Mirae, when she started to say that he is in love with her or something but after that we get the scene where she asks if Miji knows and looks confused (?) is totally just telling viewers that he is gay. I don't know why people don't want to just agree with that.

Really like it, the story is good and the romance doesn't feel forced. It's good to see that they are not already IN LOVE in first episode. The differences in their personalities and morals made it even more fun to watch so that was a plus. And also, loved the crime side of this drama it was interesting and thanks to the director's skills it wasn't overshadowed by the romance side. Kinda disappointed in the ending, I feel like it's not fulfilling? Something feels like it was taken away in the last minute to keep it 14 episodes max.
I'm only on episode 5 and Ming is pissing me off so much that i started to root for Sol and Joe to get together. Also, Joe this dick cannot be THAT good stop being pathetic and just end it??? The only good thing is May, like that's my wife fr love her and everytime she was on screen I was blinded by her beauty and couldn't focus on anything else.
