I agree that’s why it’s been harder to start any drama’s recently. I’ve read the book so I have more patience for this one. And I really like the chemistry between Zhao Lusi and Wu Lei. I think the supporting staff as well.

To other people looking to watch this drama, I think that it does have a slow start to it. The romance doesn't really kick off immediately. The show does take a while to set up the background, but I think the storyline isn't bad. It points out several issues like sexism towards females and the hardships of having a tiger mom. Even though the storyline takes a while to setup, I think it's worth the wait compared to some of the other Chinese dramas that have been released. This is probably the first drama I've actively watched for the past half year.

I think the casting and acting great so far. The CGI isn’t bad either. This show talks about the 10th life of the ML and FL. In the past 9 lives the ML either gets killed for the female or by her. They will probably gloss over that later. But the ending is supposed to be HE. From what I’ve read the female lead is both the God of War and demon warrior which is an interesting twist.

If you look at WWX’s clothes when he left and in the last scene you can tell that they are different designs. I assumed that it meant that they decided to meet up at that location after LZ was done with being chief cultivator.

It's been rumors to happen. She originally was seen filming a lot more scenes. Then the Chinese book fans freaked out on the production team, so the production team cut most of her scenes out. I feel like this is a good indication that she won't be his love interest.

They probably won't show the present day until episode 30. I saw a preview for episode 22 and it seems like the Wen Sect will be annihilated then. The book also had a lot of flashbacks too. It just didn't seem as much since they were interspersed.

I actually just saw a post on social media. It said that the director said there are two endings. It's just a rumor right now but this has been happening a decent amount in Chinese dramas that are suppose to end as tragedies.

Yes they are. Zhao Liang Di is just a title that she will gain later on.
