10 episodes in and will probably drop for a while to see what people think of the ending.ML is too frustrating…
I'm the opposite. I think the ML is very cunning and very clever in his dealing with different people. Since this drama doesn't sound like your type, don't force yourself. There are other dramas to see.
Does anyone else think the fl forgave the ml way too fast for buying off all the victims of the fire? It only…
No, I think it's very rational of her. She's not out of character. Her agenda is to bring down his father. It sounds to me there are more ways to bring RDK down. Her phone call to Meng hinted that. Plus, she knew it was RJS who published the explosive news. The Feng are doing well but the same cannot be said of the rest of the victims. This is likely the only opportunity they will receive monetary compensation from the Rong family. Otherwise, they have no evidence to bargain with let along get anything in the process.
She is perfectly cast for this role - she excels in this era (historical/idol dramas are not really her thing).…
Not sure what your beef is with the ML but he's perfect for his role, same to the rest of the cast. Open his eyes widely? Moves his lip? I am lost here. I've watched all the VIP episodes and trailers and can't connect with your description.
What episode are you on? Just for your information, everything is not what it seems. Keep in mind the context…
If you've watched it he's just turned 20. Taking things at face value for this drama doesn't make sense for this drama. There's a reason for why each character is the way they are. Anyway, enjoy the drama.
Ml looks like a child in love, reminds me of my high school days. but since this isn't a school drama, the way…

You can watch his latest series (City of Streamer) airing right now on Tencent (WeTv English). He has a lot of…
Yes, he's his own boss. There are rumors that Tencent wanted to sign him but only for films not music. However, ZhouZhou wants to develop both in music and acting. He ended up just signing drama deals and not as an artist under them. I think he's doing well in music and improving in acting. And being under a talent agency may have its strengths, especially in terms of having first go at a good scripts or marketing, but I think overall it's better he's independent so he's free to do what he wants to do.
ML has to improve with his acting skills more...He is ok but feels like forced acting and something is wrong with…
No, this is his best acting. Not sure if you're just reading Eng sub but I and Chinese audience think he's perfect as Rong JaiShang for his micro expression, especially his eyes. If you missed just a moment of it then you're missing a lot of context/clue to his inner thoughts.
I really like addicted, he's a great actor, what is another movie or series you can recommend with him :) one…
You can watch his latest series (City of Streamer) airing right now on Tencent (WeTv English). He has a lot of screen time compare to other series he's in. Rong Jia Shang in City of Streamer is a the puppy/wolf quiet type, similar to Bai Luo Yin in a way. There's also the sports drama Ping Pong. I love his character, Yu Kenan. This character is definitely similar to ZhouZhou's real personality, an extrovert, outgoing, vocal and sometimes silly.
Such a shame on Dear Mayang Street and Weaving a Tale of Love 1. He's the male lead but his screen time is only half of the second leads. I heard he filmed more scenes for Dear Mayang Street but they didn't end up on screen. He's an independent/solo artist with no company backing unlike other actors so that may play a role.
What do you mean? Those are his nature lips. They are naturally red, redder than most female wearing lipstick…
Err, no his lips are fine. He has two big tiger teeth so that may be what you see as his mouth is close. When he smiles or laughs (which I don't think we'll see in this drama much, if at all) you'll see his crooked tiger teeth.
What do you mean? Those are his nature lips. They are naturally red, redder than most female wearing lipstick…
FYI, he's very pale but to fit a military graduate he's painted a darker shade. You may notice in some scenes the make-up covers a little bit of his upper lip. He has full lips.
Why are Timmy's lips so distracting - there's always something off about them when he acts. Does he have issues?
What do you mean? Those are his nature lips. They are naturally red, redder than most female wearing lipstick that sometimes makeup artist paint them darker, if you are asking about that.
Apparently the kiss scene at the birthday party, which was filmed as a reciprocal kiss, between the leads was…
You're welcome. The author confirmed it's very close to the novel. What has aired thus far is about 90% restored. I'm optimistic the rest of the series will keep very close to the original script.
Sooo, we are forgetting that the FL is basically there to manipulate the guy and destroy his family. She only…
CAUTION major spoiler alert - FL brother is an underground revolutionary. Concubine Sun died in the novel. SML came to like the FL later on but he never really had the chance in the first place; FL already loved ML almost since the beginning. SML focused on his agenda of destroying ML's father. We do not really have a love triangle.
