Yeah finally i can make peace with Bai Jue's plan since the drama change the plothole so it's more quiet and silent, leaving no trace, in the most remote part of the three realm, that even Shang Gu wouldn't see/hear/feel what happened in those Yuanling Swamp. In this way she won't blame herself because she really doesn't have a clue to what's happening to him.

Yes. Yuan Qi has his own novel . He sacrificed his life because he need to repair the chaos crack in the Nether World because of some devil's plan to take over the three realm, after he already lost a lot of power trying to revive his sect ( Donghua sect) after theyre killed by Devil.
At least, that's what his first tribulation is. Dunno if the writer will make the Tribulation of chaos come back again after hundred thousand years or so, when Yuan Qi inherit Shang Gu's position.

Yeah I mean in the novel the demon and immortal leader know that Bai Jue start the tribulation again, and the power of destruction or something can be sensed in the three realm, so basically its like a big volcano eruption, the tremor can't be hidden once it started and has chaos residue spread all over the realm . And watching the scene when Bai Jue sacrifice himself in the drama again, it seem what you said make sense. The tribulation that started still has a smaller radius and he quickly sacrifice himself, leaving no trace of chaos or tremor all over the realm. Just the falling snow is a clue that something happened to him, so I suppose if Tian Qi coul make a vague excuse, it could be anything that cause his death. And even if Shang Gu is doubtful, she has no clue and has to accept it.
In the alternate universe, where Shang Gu know that Bai Jue is dead and she still doesnt have her memories, then Tian Qi told some excuse about his death, I think she will still sad, regretful about the what if etc but not to the extend that she blame herself. I imagined she will still love him , and dreaming about him, trying to go back to the past Bai Jue, cherish the Bai Jue from 60 years ago in her memory. But she will keep it hidden in her heart and on the outside will try to let go and being busy managing God Realm.
I'm sorry if I seem obsessed with this scenario because I can't bear to hear people crucifying Bai Jue's plan, saying his plan is selfish, because it will keep Shang Gu alive but with abused mental, depression etc . I want to imagine that if his plan is working, its really the best plan for Shang Gu and her wellbeing and she doesn't suffer much mentally. Bai Jue didn't deserve to be hated by the viewer after all the 60.000 years of pain and loneliness and death that he endured.

This is also something that bothering me. I don't think The Coming
Back of Tribulation of Chaos can be hidden from the Three Realms. Like isn't it supposed to be known to all realm or something? So basically when Bai Jue sacrifice himself, Shanggu would know the cause of his death? Even if Shanggu doesn't remember the love between them, and just remember the hatred, can she still hate him after he sacrifice himself for her and move on?
Maybe I mixed it with novel too, but it depicted that The Tribulation of Chaos isn't something that quiet that can be hidden ?

All i can say is the person who wrote this maybe skip too much or something, or else how can he missed what Bai Jue is planning, literally there's scene of him telling the plan to Tianqi and Gu Jun lol

Kudos to Xu Kai, i think I'm satisfied with his acting as Bai Jue/Qing Mu/ Bo Xuan. He's what I imagined from the novel. Xu Kai nailed that nuance and emotion that Bai Jue has very well.
