i really hate the character of DY since day 1 until now he still no grow, no character growth, maturity. he is…
His reaction/response to the relationship being discovered hasn't been great, but overall I thought the she show had done a good job showing growth in his character. He was defending SJ from his mom very early on, then didn't hesitate to help with the janitorial work. If he hadn't gotten picked up by the trot label I'm sure he would have been continuing to help with bibi roll.
Lol, way to not even consider the fact that ML has been lying to FL about who he is the whole time? I'd take the…
Sure, but this wouldn't be an subversion of a fairy tale if she was willing to suffer for love. And suffering is always what comes after refusing the money.
Ok I'm finally back trying to get through the last 7 episodes and even though I know Han Ting was wrong Ji Xing…
From her point of view, were those things done for her or just to boost the reputation and value of Xingchen? He made it clear that he didn't have feelings for her (later its clear he really chose the hard way of showing his affection), while having plans against her in relation to her company. Reasonable to doubt everything.
Thankfully, it doesn't last too long, and serves to make HT get in touch with his feelings, which asshole Gramps (& family) had clearly brutalized before.

Masochist isn't an insult. It can be, but in dramaland it just means that you enjoy ones where the FL suffers. Lots of people do. You flying off the handle is entirely unjustified.
If someone lies to you about who they are and, once revealed, their mother comes to tell you that you aren't good enough and will never be a part of the family, you should leave. There is no reason for anyone to have to take abuse like that.
If you are lucky enough to get money out of it, take it. Compensation for the deceit. She should not give him another chance (but she will, of course, cause this is a drama).
DR's older brother continues to be a giant shithead. He knows his mom his forcing her, and all of the abusive things from the past and yet just keeps going along with it. Its unfortunate that kdramas arent like game of thrones.
It always amazes me how people fall for giant red flags. WJ may have had a difficult childhood with overhearing his mom talking about killing people and all, but that is no excuse for him being such a crummy person.
SJ should run as fast as she can from that relationship. He is controlling, condescending and violent. How may times now has he reacted physically to YA? Shoving a mentally handicapped older woman like how he has done multiple times is remarkably disgusting. Really feel for his poor daughter as well. He might not hit her, but that girl is seriously damaged, and he clearly has a big role in it.
If they were to marry, there is no way that SJ wouldn't end up being forced to quit being show host and she'd almost certainly end getting hit when she disagreed with him. Maybe he will change and stop siding with his evil mom, but it seems more likely he will try and kill EJ and their mom (then he will be able to possess SJ). Honestly folks, if you're dating some for a few weeks and then they suddenly ask your parents to marry you w/o talking to you at all, that is a bad relationship. You deserve better.
While everyone is sympathetic to WR, I'll go ahead and stick up for SJ (maybe I haven't forgiven him for being such a jerk at the start of the show). Both SY & WR were being completely foolish. As soon as the relationship between SY & SJ was revealed one of two things had to happen. Option A, SY & WR sever their relationship per the register. Option B, SJ & WR break up. Option C, SJ staying as YJ's daughter was never a possibility and her mom and WR should have known that.
SY, though, decided to handle it by leaving her daughter as the daughter of their great enemy (and, naturally, not talk to SJ at all about it). This was a terrible and cruel plan. WR decided to handle it by pretending that there wasn't a problem with asking SJ to stay in that family, so there was no need to be concerned about being siblings (it seemed to me, at least, that he hadn't even considered that she would want to be on her mom's registry).
SJ couldn't ask SY & WR to sever their relationship. They both had made it abundantly clear how important the other was. But, SJ needs to officially be her mom's family. So, if option A isn't possible, then option B it must be. And, no point to delaying the inevitable, only will get harder to be siblings.
I'd say it is positive that she has gotten to a point that she is willing to stand up for herself and what she wants--namely to be her mom's daughter in both name and fact. For the majority of the show her solution to this would have been to just let the desires of the people around her (WR, SY & YJ in this case) determine her path.
This is actual growth. Naturally, all of this could have been handled much cleaner if the three of them actually sat down and talked to each other, but then how would you fill out the show? So far, at least, this show has kept its plot moving, so I am curious how long they will stay separated before the birth secret is revealed or WR asks to be dropped from the family registry.
Watching Na Young's facial expressions during the scene when her mother was talking to her about her upcoming…
Due to NY telling her in-laws that she was poorly treated and neglected when growing up she can't really bring her parents back in contact with them again or the lie will quickly be exposed. I'm sure, though, that the mom will be the cause of NY's downfall.
I can get being upset over finding out that PS is your friends' bio son and she set it up for you to adopt him, but this is really absurd. She certainly didn't do anything bad enough to result in her being repeatedly physically abused (and grams should get bent). And, while she may have thought that Sun Young would adopt him, it isn't like she forced it upon them.
PS is clearly the best thing that ever happened to Sun Young and her family. Instead they are acting like it was some huge burden for them. Just obnoxious. And granny last episode taking advantage of Ma Ri was really gross too. Thankfully PS isn't actually related to any of them so fingers crossed his whole worthless family will all trip and fall in a wood chipper next week.
At least older brother is finally showing some growth and repentance (and telling their mom in front of DR that she had promised to not take advantage of DR and that all they had done was make her suffer).
So watching this episode has me fairly convinced that HS is not the biological son of Kim Mari. In conversation…
The character profile talks about his birth secret being revealed. That plot point won't hit if it isn't tied to MR. Her referring to HS being JT's son was in context of HW (WR) not being his son, tied to the previous conversation between them where he had talked about how terrible it would be for HS to raise someone else's son.
I find it intriguing how swiftly people can change their opinion about a character. Within weeks, many of you…
I wager people have soured on SY for a few reasons.
First, she apparently did nothing to find her daughter after they moved to America (this is after having not insisted to meet right away allowing evil lady to spirit them way). It is a weird position to have put the character in, not really sure what the writer was thinking, would be much better to at least have her at least having done something over the years.
Second, she is way to convinced of her own correctness. This has played out negatively repeatedly with Su Ji, starting with their first meeting and her forcing the food on her, and continuing through now to the most recent issue (early in SJ living there SY actually had a moment of self-reflection that maybe she was wrong, but that's gone now). She seems to be entirely incapable of understanding that people can have different opinions on things (or simply not like, be allergic, or have a visceral negative reaction for whatever reason), and that is ok.
Third, her recent bout of meanness. She is being irrationally mean to SJ, probably because she feels guilty over SJ accurately pointing out that some mothers don't come back. Thus the extreme anger of SJ politely (attempting at least) leaving the breakfast table, as it was a ritual to honor the daughter that SY unintentionally did not go back to (the very thing SJ was warning the kid about). The nonsense about HS is gross as well. Blaming the victim is yucky behavior. I dread to think what she would say if SJ was assaulted while wearing a skirt.
I actually think SY is very selfish. We can see it easily with the uncle, whom she must have known for years likes her, yet she ignores it so she can take advantage of the relationship. We can see it as well when she went back after recovery from the accident and didn't insist on seeing her daughter. Being concerned over her being angry is selfish, that is worry over how you will be perceived, rather than worry over what the other is going through. If she had insisted, then even if SJ was still taken away, she wouldn't have the same issues today that she does. The adoptions may make her seem selfless, but I'd argue that is a classic case of false altruism, she has adopted the kids to feel better about herself, not for their sakes.
Wow those tags. We can clearly expect what kind of makjang we are going to watch but i hate two timing fl characters.…
There has been no indication of that occurring. FL and ML have a perfectly fine working relationship (once he stopped being a real jerk). ML & FL will almost certainly get together after her life comes crashing down, which I figure will involve SML leaving/betraying her, which I figure will come about from his parents' disapproval. While it seems like ti would be his dad to blame, his mom is so unpleasant I would not be surprised that she leads the charge and SMl either goes along with it or doesn't defend her. He is a fairly creepy character to be honest.
Thankfully, it doesn't last too long, and serves to make HT get in touch with his feelings, which asshole Gramps (& family) had clearly brutalized before.

I like how your mind went to sex rather than the obvious cutting off of heads. Quite revealing.
Outside of that, im quite ready for every supporting character except younger bro and ma ri to fall into a wood chipper.

6. I assume so, as she appears to have been in practice for greater than 2 years. But I could be wrong.
7. Abandoned child from former employee. And, in my opinion, she does like him, she just feels unworthy.
8. The granny is WR residence is the older sister of the uncle. That is the only biological relationship in the house.
