i watched the first 2 episodes and decided to drop it bc it felt like there was a lot of telling and not a lot…
I don't get this complaint as 2 episodes in they hadn't yet developed feelings and instead are in the process of becoming attached. What drama shows all of that in the first 2 episodes? Basically none.
For the last two episodes I'm going to go with bio mom accidentlly causes twin's death while trying to get money from him and heart is donated to ml. Main couple breaks up because of this, only getting back together five minutes before the end.
I have mostly enjoyed this one, but I just have such a hard time accepting that Ml and SML have been best friends since middle/high school and yet ML has never met SMl's family. It is such an absurd flaw. We know evil bio/stepmom was in the family when they were in high school, so it seems absurdly impossible that he wouldn't have seen her at least at graduation. To be fair, evil bio mom's liver transplant plan never made sense as it always ignored the aftermath. I am very ready for her world to end. SML dad while a hypocrite for marrying a nobody and then making a big deal about how SML will have to marry a chaebol daughter seems to be a decent enough sort that he won't take it out on his daughter when the truth comes out and probably actually be more supportive of sml's relationship. Particularly once he knows the situation around her actual family.
Just finished this again. Great show but the ending is just such a downer. Can't help but think what it coukd have been without china's issues with time travel. Would have been better to stay in the past, or come to the future with the entire family. Pretty brutal to have the ml just wallow in sadness and fear of forgetting until death.
Why is when a male lead looks older and the fl is a giant baby aka prisoner of beauty the plot is what is important…
You just completely ignored me stating that the fl pulls off looking young and the ml acting childish. In PoB, the fl, while youthful in appearance, was written (and styled) as a mature adult and the ml comes across as a kid. Absent images, one would think that she was the elder and the ml younger.
I like noona romances but not when the ml is massively immature. They can be done well, this one, well not exactly older woman/younger man, is not done well.
So ML has a baby face and even though FL can pull off looking 10 years younger than her age, the combination of his youthfull looks and childih behavior and her mostly stern appearance just throws this show off. Not a good casting combination, though I don't know if any actress would have been able to make this plot work when the ML is written to be a giant child.
I know they intentionally make the bad guys over the top, but the whole plot with bio mom is just so stupid. What does she think will happen post liver transplant? Going to push FL, mom and bro in front of a bus so her new family never finds out that a) she had a daughter, and b) that her son needed a liver transplant? Plus she's been havng FL tailed for a long while, how could she not know at this point that FL, ML and her stepson are all friends?
Should've left it that she abandoned FL in order to bag a rich guy and dropped the transplant/scheming to have her bio son inherit the business since he was a little kid, which is also a very dumb plot.
And in what world would it be at all sensible to tell your daughter that you don't love her biological father and instead are with him solely for the money, and regret not being able to target someone richer?
I liked it, but the show had pacing issues. However, drunk lusi is always highly great. Highly talented actress in general, but an exceptionally good actress at acting drunk.
Ok, I almost freaked out a little at the end of today's episode. Seonghui was looking at Eunoh so weird, I thought…
She ended her crush and he hated it. He always knew she liked him and got off on it, now that she is done, he wants it back. Honestly such a garnage man should be alone at the the end of the show, but of course he will have redemption and blah blah blah.
This woukd have been a great shoe to subvert the standard ml/fl pairing and have the fl end up with the 2ml, who has been done wrong for years by the ml.
EH is made totally stupid by the script ... her reason for accepting to partner is totally totally off.... And…
I don't think FL was upset that had to work, she was upset because her mom was upset. And her mom was upset because she she's her baby son having a hard time after she (the mom) picked the FL. Neither of them expressed any "upsetness" over him having to work at mom's restaurant (that FL paid for), it is just him having moved out due to being a stupid little shit.
I don't think going to earn money in order to continue to coddle the brat makes sense, but I can understand why the adopted daughter feels like she has to.
ML's brother and 2ml's sister is the most fun part of the show.
She was in the position to dictate her conditions because he wanted something from her. He could have said no…
They very much do not mean the same thing. This is an international site, so maybe english isn't your first language in which case it is understandable. Obviously it is my perception, I wrote it. Whose opinion would it have been if not mine?
I think, perhaps, you enjoy arguing with me, as you continue to do so, even after saying you weren't going to post anymore.
I'm sorry if my suggestion for you to let it go upset you so much. But, you should really try taking my advice rather than getting all worked up. Is silly really.
You don't really seem capable of following your ending comment. Try it! Me commenting calmly and politely is not shoving my opinions down your throat. Very bizarre from you.

He obviously knew that she liked him, it is why he was upset with 2ml for telling her that he broke up with his gf and at her for finally confessing. And upset at her for saying what she shouldn't have (i.e. confessing finally). Go back and rewatch episode 3.
Do you think that paying someone means you can't manipulate them? No one, not a single person, forced him to accept her terms. Her position, stating her conditions outright and upfront, is the opposite of being manipulative. He could've just said no.
I didn't say that you said that she was going around defaming him, just that you are acting like that is what she was doing. That isn't putting words in your mouth, it is describing how your position comes across.
Copy to me where I said that you said she is going around defaming him? Mind your words. Don't put words in my mouth.
The rest of your stuff seems to be some deep seated issues that I am not interested in. If you don't want to have people comment on your posts, don't post. If people disagreeing with you is so upsetting, don't read the responses. Easy peasy.

Lady has told him multiple times that she does not want to interact with him. Why is she manipulative and not him?
He needed her knowledge and experience to make more money. It isn't altruistic. He needs to use her knowledge and experience in order to make more money to feel better about himself. Her putting a big negative for him if things don't work out makes perfect sense, as that is the only way to maybe get him to care about her feelings. Which he hasn't. At all. Since college.
She is sore that he didn't just tell her that he didn't want to even go out on a date with her because she is poor. Instead he made it seem like she had some failing to be unsuitable for him, when, as far as we know, he was willing to date basically anyone who asked. You are right, he is not a stranger, but neither was she, and his response to her asking him out is not the way you should respond to someone you supposedly care about.
We know also that he knew all along that she liked him and that he actively tried to keep the 2ml from pursuing her, so what he really wanted all this time was for her to like him, but not date anyone. He was pissed that she finally confessed because then she wouldn't always be at his beck and call. Real abusive red flag behavior.
You're acting like she is going around telling people not to use his business and defaming him. She hasn't.
Eunoh is hateful and mean-spirited.Her condition that Jihyeok must move his office out if the partnership is resolved…
She was in the position to dictate her conditions because he wanted something from her. He could have said no thanks to her conditions, but he expected the benefits to be greater than the cost. That is the way life works.
It is disappointing that the writer decided the only way forward was to have everyone make be stupid. Second male lead with the ring, letting evil shaman roam freely, flower master continuing to happily volunteer info to evil shaman...Just mindboggingly stupid decisions that make no sense. Makes what was a cute and fun show incredibly frustrating.
So I'm alone in liking this season as much as season 1?ðŸ˜
It isn't bad exactly, but it feels like they were going to need 44 or so episodes to finish the story and rather than trimming to fit into 40, they decided to pad to make the second season longer. It is frustrating. I for one, if they needed to pad, would have preferred they pad with episodes of them being officially together because their interactions and teamwork are, for me, the best part.
