Yay for positive disagreement. We'll see how 6 bro plays out, but i feel that they've (ml & fl) weirdly stepped back in their relationship in this second block. Its disappointing. To me I mean. Writer has dragged it out too long, again, imo.

Kinda dumbed down though, at least according to the previews. He should've been able to sense that something was off with the hairpin and annoying 6th brother whom he has been wary of this whole time. If FL wanted to tell him that she would have done so herself, not send someone in her place, entirely out of character for her as one of the thing's that first drew him to her was her independence and ability to confront problems head on.
FL also kinda dumb to have not caught onto 6 bro's crush on her and dislike of ML. For a couple who have had such a great understanding all this time, are soulmates, this part is just silly.
Don't tell me I am supposed to believe the two FLs are middle aged cuz I will laugh! Bfr
There will probably be a lot of flashbacks to their previous times, so choosing actresses in their 30s makes a lot of sense. Hair styles and clothing choices will be important.
CGH is really getting on my nerves, he first blames a child for the death of his aunt as if that isn't his mom…
As far as I could tell, ml's mother was a concubine or maid maybe. Empress said they'd get a scarf for his mother and ml says to jerkwad 2nd ml that he didn't kill his (2nd ml's) aunt.
Emperor is 100% stupid and will hopefully die a painful death soon.
Has Kwangsook lost her memory after she quarreled with Chunsoo's ex and then fainted? She should tell Chunsoo…
I'm pretty sure the issue with Bom and her dad will be that she wants to be with KS, which conflicts with her dad and GS dating. She has already heard from KS that his sister in law is amazing, so it seems unlikely that she is looking down upon or dislikes GS in that way. I think, much earlier, she and her brother even talked about how they just wanted their dad to find someone to be happy with.
But that someone being her love interests in law creates classic kdrama conflict. Normally it would be expected that with GS & DS together, the younger generation would not be able to get together, as you would have the awkwardness of GS being sister and mother in law to KS, and SiL & stepmother to Bom. So we will get an episode or two dealing with it.
wasn't gonna solve the plot myself but I'm pretty sure I've the pieces pieced together by now. someone used the…
Hmm, I was thinking that he didn't personally kill their child, but rather "killed" him because he died while her powers were sealed and didn't come down to help when she was begging. So she, not knowing that he was being punished at the time, blames him for the death.
That is obviously a decision made by the director (and maybe writer). If the director did not want her to smile and say something indifferent, they would have reshot/rewrote the scene. Why blame the actress?
Not a huge fan of the last block of episodes as rationality seems to have flown away (maybe kill the prison guards before you tie a dead body to your back...) but still an extremely satisfying show overall.
This show has been a lot of fun so far. Keeps getting better too. Finding out about Boya and then declaring that he will fight her over every inch of territory, but meaning he is moving back into the main room is just great. The whole scene with her solving the box's lock and then parting by telling him she'll gladly open it for him if he ever forgets how, hilarious. I hope they don't ruin this one later on.
While the FL’s actions might echo her clan’s past, she's someone navigating impossible expectations. She’s…
She did try being forthright, thinking his bad reputation was false and gave him the seal to the panyi, only for him to immediately kick her out. So working in the background to protect herself and her family makes sense to me. So far I think she hasn't actually hurt Wei, only strengthened Qiao, so I find it hard to be too harsh about her scheming.
I wish the writer had not gone in the direction they did with this issue. There were many ways to show how heartbroken…
How much time has gone by? Being vague like this is the worse decision from the show. It has to have been at least six months, but it feels like it should have been longer.
This show really continues to charm. Since Heung Su got his hair cut both him and Ok Bun have become not just tolerable but actually enjoyable, which is a nice change. The one plot I don't really get is Beom Su and Se Ri, I just can't imagine how thay could end up together knowing what her parents did to his father and family and how her step-brother is his brother. The actress playing Se Ri, though, I think is really doing a good job in her role
We defintely disagree on your last. That's a look of desire, imho.
