Yup yup. Theres quite a bit of food drama but they didnt accomplish that warmth I get from watching this drama. I'm personally in love with Ke Lan too. Shes the whole package of warm, intelligent, strong, sensitive, sweet and kind but not a pushover. I thk it's also cause shes brought up with love.
Like Ke Lan's mother, I, too, really, really like Jin Yi. What a wonderful guy. Sadly for him, she has already…
Agreed totally. Ke Lan's mum was so awesome in respecting her daughter and wanting her to be happy. I like how food is woven intricately to warmth and family. I also applaud Yu Hao for waiting until the moment that he is sure, that its after much deliberation and soul searching. Unlike many dramas where the CEO jumps in immediately to romance a FL. I find Yu Hao more real and realistic. Can I applaud Ke Lan's attitude; I love that she knows her heart well and is courageous when need to be. The part when she brought up about the tomato was awesome, I was so happy they didn't forget to address that.
Ep9 trailer showed him being honest wih FL that he hasnt completely walk out fr the shadow of his last relationship.…
I thk things are finally looking upwards for ML-FL in ep9. She told him she would wait for him to put down the baggage of his last relationship. He pulled her in for a hug even though he said it was cause of the bats nearby. Fingers crossed ep 9 and 10 would be sweet episodes until trouble brew in the form of the ex returning into the picture.
Ep9 trailer showed him being honest wih FL that he hasnt completely walk out fr the shadow of his last relationship. I thk thats being responsible, that you dont start unless you are certain. Even FL said this kind of character is both a boon and a bane.
I click because of Skip Beat. Me and my sister love it so much. In fact I thought of a k drama remake ever since I saw Ha Ji Won in Secret Garden. I think A Walk to remember would be better as a shorter drama instead of a full length..and one you need a box of Kleenex to get through.
What a great read. Agreed on so many points. I find historical setting tends to make romance more poetic and fantastical. I also think costumes play a large part. Historical clothing be it hanbok, hanfu, or those adapted in xianxia are so beautiful and coupled that with great cinematography makes it so appealing visually.
You Drive Me crazy was such a gem and one with high rewatch value. Adult Trainee took me by surprise and they had so much connection and really sizzle up the screen. Us & Them was painful for me, beautiful and painful and one I cant rewatch. Thankyou for the great article.
I don't think I've ever disliked any of Huan Xuan's performance. He's always been able to deliver. I plan to marathon soon. I saw snippets and am impressed with the production. I like Song Yi's character. I like how she is supportive and simple to balance out the complicated or serious parts of the drama.
Wow its like a party going on here in the comment section. Fun for me to scroll thru and read (^^.)/ Junho was awesome in Just Between Lovers. He went and outdone himself here, really oozing so much charisma and feels. Who knew he was so suited in Sageuk.
