I get where you’re coming from, but I think you’re looking at it too one-dimensionally. Love isn’t always…
So well worded. Love isnt a transaction is so true. And it doesnt mean the person rejected you, you jus giveup your feelings. ML intuitively just wants to love and protect her silently despite his hurt.
I know everyone is entitled to have their own opinions but Wen Yifan is genuinely strong. After multiple assaults,…
When i com across WYF character I thought of 'A series of unfortunate events'. The truth is shes a survivor and because she tries so hard to survive and carry on with life, thats why she oppresses her feelings and fear. People forget to factor that she didnt have family members who trust and protect her when she needed it the most. Its her coping mechanism and the sleepwalking is the crack allowing her true emotions to surface.
Havent watch a drama without skipping in quite a while. And one thats addictive. Having read the novel several times and seen the manhwa too, its amazing to see it come alive.. and not disappointed. Vy please with the acting, directing, and the aesthetics so far.
A long commercial so expect PPL. Leads are good actors but material isnt good enough on their story. Although I love FL's parents and the family values.
Watching this at high speed cause some scenes do get on my nerves. I tot this was a light and warm hearted watch, fit for chinese new year. Instead ones' blood pressure rises from it. Only naming major issues else i would have written a 10page essay. 1. The mother is an awfully written character. Money is her middle name. It takes away any sympathy you hav for her 2. The writing. Making comedy out of domestic violence. Undermining serious issues, the lies, the double standards. 3. Er niang's husband that needed to grow a spine. The irritating gege coming from his mouth. 4. Many characters that are not likable. ML's friends, youngest daughter, etc etc Im skipping to watch kang ning n chai's scenes. Even some part of the writing on their story irks me. Im hoping it corrects itself as it proceeds and I hope to watch Da niang (Shou Hua's) story.
Actually this drama isnt that bad. The leads hav a certain spark. And a supposedly cold wooden ML turna out to be rather flirty in love. Was a quick easy watch
Among the xianxia dramas, this is d only one i would rewatch. From light hearted to emotional scenes, they do it so well. Felt all 3 actors gave their very best in delivering.
The show started off so promising. It was like breath of fresh air with the sibling angle. Unexpectedly heartwarming too. Esp their childhood reveal, sibling reltionship, parents interview. Then once it got pass the midpoint it become so skycastle makjang. Manipulative people finally revealing their face. Sprouting excuses while maintaining smug smile. Unapologetic as they hurt people. It went from a 9.5 to a 6.0. The episode where JW appears, my internal alarm went off. YW's attitude and bodylanguage makes me feel uneasy. Should hav trust my instincts then and stopped watching. Ep 14 onwards was jus stressful to watch.
seing CH use his truth-or-dare question on JW really made me wonder of what they could've been... i don't understand…
I thk the most logical explanation is JW is not physically attracted to CH. JW wanted a mature, care for her oppa and additionaly, she was physically attracted to YW. Thats why she chose him on the first date. YW knows he has the charms, the height and build that women like. Topped that off with his nice guy image, the women arent immune to him.
