I thought I was a unicorn. There are only 2 dramas that have made me love almost the entire playlist. Usually, I would perhaps like one of the songs. Even though ballads are not my genre, the placement of songs in this one has been quite nicely done.

The irony. Till now, the script has been so well written and executed. Fingers crossed for the next six. Also,I guess those three years well spent fine tuning the script. It totally shows.

The comedy doesn't land, at all... I don't mind slapstick, even though it's not my sort of humour. The script isn't the star, LOL. The leads are totally limited by a mediocre script. I don't mind an outlandish premise as long as the show compels me to feel invested in the overall story.

In all honesty, this one seems more in line with SOOD than the Korean remake could ever be. SOOD is a rare gem. So, for this to invoke a similar vibe without coming across as trying too hard is an achievement by itself. Moreover, it invokes many of the KDrama tropes but successfully sidesteps them. Like, Sun Jae's misguided efforts to dress like Tae Sung, LOL. In most dramas, one sees the dressing up trope, however, here it's been turned on its head. I liked the fact that the character exercised his agency rather than someone forcing him to do so.

Ditto! For me, I rarely ever feel this way. I think how good of a friendship develops offscreen plays a big role. Not just with regards to romcoms. For instance, despite their very few scenes together, Sun Jae and Tae Sung have chaotic and antagonising sibling energy that is in no manner mean-spirited.

Exactly. If Nan Ya is indeed the culprit, then her response may be understood as reactive abuse. People ought to look it up. I find her former best friend extremely toxic. I cannot believe that I cannot empathise with her at all, since I absolutely abhor cheating. She has pretty low intelligence both academically and in terms of socialisation.

I think she meant objects or obstacles in the way towards him are included when it's a straight line. And not when when it's a walking line. This is how i interpreted the statement.
