So im thinking.... the photo of the drama on this site, the one at the very top, the one where KHY and BWS are…
I love the poster! Other photos kind of spoil the actual story. Sol has the ecstatic look of a fan girl, while, Sun Jae seems to have a sort of optimistic passive look on his face. The poster seems to suggest his thoughts could go either way, either towards annoyance or giddiness. Plus, it's a twist on the title, ironically it's Sun Jae who is half carrying Sol as she clings to his tall frame.
I watch it and it's overrated. It's a 7-8 at best and that's if they manage to not ruin the ending. The 'serial…
Attractive leads don't a good drama make. Some of my favourite actors are not considered good looking. ROFL. Not taking names, some of the worst acting that I have witnessed are by those who are still cruising on their looks alone and have legions of fans. Their acting was so bad that I wasn't able to go past a few episodes. One of my pet peeves is that often good scripts are given to those who have the pull yet their bad acting makes me lose interest in the story itself. It's not very common for the leads to be both beautiful and also really good at their job. For me, an actor must either improve from one job to the next, or be instinctively great.
Recent main complaint was his fathers bathroom scene. This was added as a comedic relief AND it also had a deeper…
Ngl, not the biggest fan of such humour but I guess they had no better ideas to bring those two families together. And they had some how resolve the ongoing 'feud'. Thus, that scene was required.
In all honesty, I had only read a few stray articles here and there about the main actors being good at their…
Oh my goodness! It's you! I sometimes refer to your comments and those by a few others while assessing a drama for watching. Coming back to this drama, it has all the typical k-drama tropes but turned on their heads.
For new watchers or those who are joining the show after seeing the media buzz and trending topics around Lovely…
In all honesty, I had only read a few stray articles here and there about the main actors being good at their job. Also, when Lovely Runner was first written about on MDL, I admit I had rolled my eyes to high heaven. I never planned on watching it, tbh. Even though, I like travel through time. My main reason being I rarely like high school settings. There have been very few ones that have been done well. The only reason I checked out the first episode when it first came out to distract myself from real life circumstances, prepared for however annoying it might be. Till date, very few dramas have proved my instincts wrong (including the factor whether I would like them) . I can proudly say this is one of them.
I am curious why sun jae chose to be a singer before time travel and why he chose to quit initially
I think, in the first timeline, it was to do with Sol liking boys who were in a band, aka, Taesung, and then, as a favour to In Hyuk. Then, post her accident, it may have been a way to escape and give expression to his fruitless love. He quit, perhaps, because he couldn't take the stress anymore. Also, with guilt eating away at his soul, he must have too tired to care for a life in the public eye.
His father reminded me of Joey covering for Chandler and Monica in Friends. 🤣
Chandler has always been my favourite character. I strongly identified with the character. I guess Perry must have too, given how many of his own characteristics he added to this fictional person. Chandler inspired me to deal with bad situations with sarcasm. Could his passing be any more heartbreaking? 😢
