Absolutely loving the creative decisions. Because LR was never supposed to blow up, the whole team was not bound by similar beats that most dramas of this genre usually have to go through. Contrary to most, I loved episode 13 and all that it promises to lead us to in episode 14. The first timeline illustrates Sun Jae still loving her despite his regret and guilt, the second timeline illustrates his love despite there being no tragedy to tie him to her, and the final timeline illustrates that despite Sol eliminating the pivotal event that started it all, Sun Jae will still inevitably fall for her. Both their fates will intertwine with or without any intervention by Sol. Sol was never meant to attend the award show, she never intended to collide with anyone as she hurried up the stairs, yet, eventually she did end up reuniting with Sun Jae. Moreover, it's hard to believe that being in the entertainment industry he had no detractors, yet, Sol's supposed dislike seems to throw him off-kilter and sparks his curiosity. Fate has been both cruel and kind to Sol. It forced Sol to let the love of her life go and still created a random opportunity for them to meet.

Honestly it doesn't need any explanation. Sol did what she had to do. All her options had gotten exhausted. One may argue she took away his agency, yet, had she not done so, he would have ended up in a casket.

Am I the only one who loves this episode and is looking forward to how the writer brings it all back together?…
I loved it too. I thought it cleverly incorporated the classic KDrama tropes. However, her deliberately not running into him hurt bad even though it was a brilliant twist because literally the entire fandom has gotten built on Sun Jae hopelessly falling for her at that first time of meeting each other.
I agree. I think she had to stay after that and avoided him. I LOVE THIS TWIST
This series has it all. Even 'enemies' to lovers trope from this point on... NGL, her deliberately not running into him felt worse than all the times he died to protect her.
File your bets before the episode airs!! My wild bet is Sun Jae coma then Sun Jae time travel with the gifted…
This is what I have been thinking ever since Sol gifted him a pocket watch. It'd be amazing if 34 year year Sol time travelling to the past collides with a time travelling Sun Jae before they ended up on the island and being confronted by the taxi driver.
