Can't deny that the story is pretty brilliant though! Writernim is probably having a blast looking at our reactions…
Don't worry, I thought it was brilliant. Copying and pasting my earlier comments.
Absolutely loving the creative decisions. Because LR was never supposed to blow up, the whole team was not bound by similar beats that most dramas of this genre usually have to go through. Contrary to most, I loved episode 13 and all that it promises to lead us to in episode 14. The first timeline illustrates Sun Jae still loving her despite his regret and guilt, the second timeline illustrates his love despite there being no tragedy to tie him to her, and the final timeline illustrates that despite Sol eliminating the pivotal event that started it all, Sun Jae will still inevitably fall for her. Both their fates will intertwine with or without any intervention by Sol. Sol was never meant to attend the award show, she never intended to collide with anyone as she hurried up the stairs, yet, eventually she did end up reuniting with Sun Jae. Moreover, it's hard to believe that being in the entertainment industry he had no detractors, yet, Sol's supposed dislike seems to throw him off-kilter and sparks his curiosity. Fate has been both cruel and kind to Sol. It forced Sol to let the love of her go and still created a random opportunity for them to meet.

Just as Sol integrated herself into Sun Jae's life when she first time travelled to the past, in this final travel, she must have done many things similarly. However, she made sure to keep out of Sun Jae's line of sight, and that honestly is not that difficult to do when she doesn't even exist in his life. Just how OG Sol was oblivious to his existence, with him pining for her from distance, in this new timeline the tables have turned. Also, In Hyuk and Tae Sung were not even close friends in the OG timeline. They ran in different circles. Perhaps, in this timeline, both of them developed a deeper friendship given Sol's intervention and him not slacking off of school. In Hyuk must have been aware of Tae Sung's female friend. To put things in perspective, Tae Sung had many fangirls in school. In Hyuk may not have paid much attention to any. However, Tae Sung's friendship with In Hyuk endured, so by extension it's likely so did his friendship with Sol. If you remember, despite Tae Sung being in the band, both he and Sun Jae were pretty much unacquainted.

From this moment on, deja vu route would be the most fitting. If we can buy into time travel, why not buy into resurfacing of the memories of each timeline lived? What everyone seems to forget that all the involved have lived through all the timelines. Their memories may never have been created, yet, they did experience it once.

Why did he choose to do so?

Priorities! 😝 What I assumed to be a crude engraving turned out to be a series of crystals. *Facepalm* Those crystals made the pendent look uglier. I am all for being thrifty and sentimental but if my partner were to pay for something like that, I would have thrown a fit. Gift me something practical like a water bottle instead. I guess the thought was realistic. Inexperienced guy buying a gift for his girlfriend for the very first time, and girlfriend loves it because it's the thought that counts. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We don't the context he says it in. He could just be joking when he's talking to her during one of their encounters.
It felt like a hint of sarcasm and also, a tinge of frustration. Like he came across her script, and rolled his eyes. You know, women having "impossible" standards for men.
