Yeah, I have heard about this drama. Wanted to watch it too, but, the potential infidelity in the drama bothered me and I never got around to watching it. I need to be able to root for the characters to be together. πŸ˜… It's a shame, I really like the cast.

Even the BGM and soundtrack has that whimsical, dark, devil-may-care vibe.

What I mean is that this drama seems to harken back to the older melodramas from Japan.

Is it just me or does this drama feel very reminiscent of the older dramas from the '90s to the early aughts?

There are viewers who are spouting hate on LR's page even now. Everyone and their mum is aware that LR is popular. The reason why I specifically mentioned LR was to draw attention to how important it is to have a smooth finish. If anything, KDrama makers ought to learn how to properly round off their dramas from LR. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Watashi no Otto to Kekkon Shite was so good! The flavour was unmistakably Japanese. πŸ₯°
Watch Cinderella Closet. It's adorable and you may like it. Be warned that it has anime style acting by the FL which never bothers me, so I am enjoying the heck out of it. 😁

By now, I just look at your DP and know it's you, LOL. 😘 I did! I was so surprised by how much I liked it. Usually, I get bored by high school dramas, though exceptions exist.

Title Our Generation Spoiler
This drama was such a pleasant surprise. I had assumed this was yet another in a series of many other bubbly girl follows around the cold male lead with a heart of gold kind of dramas. However, this drama had so much depth. No one plays a tortured high school student as well as ZLH. Those who like Flourish in Time would know. As here, he was excellent in FIT and made me want to follow his work way before he blew up in popularity post SOKP. The entire cast did a good job. Special shoutout to Wu Sheng who played Yu Qiao. It's hard to believe this is his debut. The story was beautiful. The makers were not afraid to shift away from the tried and tested template of most Chinese dramas based on high school students. This drama was both familiar, yet unique. The habit of falling into self detrimental behaviours, and to an extent relying on these behaviours as a method of protecting oneself was so relatable.

The best way to enjoy this one. This should have been 10 episodes and Yeon Hwa's arc should have been completed by now. The plot is going around in circles. I don't mind illogical jumps in stories, provided they keep me entertained. Episode 11 was a snoozefest.
