Yeomhwa sucks. I donβt care about her past trauma- Iβm so tired of her treating everyone like crap when they…
The psyche works in mysterious ways. Sometimes, one ends up loathing oneself so much that it's comforting in a twisted way to have others validate that self loathing. It feels like an absolution of deep rooted guilt. If you watch CDramas, then yes. π
Both of you have a point and I quite agree with the OP that posters do play a role in drawing or pushing away potential viewers. Tbh, one of the main reasons I landed up on this page is because of the poster. I like it for the very reasons the OP dislikes it. The poster is dark and sombre in tone as well as unfocussed, which promises melancholy and suggests a degree of restlessness. I really like the old timey vibes.
I guess in real life too you're attracted more towards unfaithful playboy type of guys π
Your comment is uncalled for. Whatever your actual feelings may be, it's a bit rich to judge someone's entire dating style on the basis of a single comment on a "fantasy" drama page.
They are played by the same actor. The chemistry is the same.
Actually, GU is passive while BS is boisterous, hence, the chemistry created with PSA would obviously be different and is indeed different. And if it's not, then the actor is lacking which obviously is not the case here. Also, in my opinion, CYW plays BS better than repressed GU. There have better representations of repressed, depressed males in dramas.
If a boy thought l was a reincarnation of his dog l would always cry myself to sleep πππππ
That's exactly why Do Yeon and Jinung's romance works so well. π He has become adorably sincere about her which initially stemmed from his misconception, and Do Yeon understands that and can see past being seen as a reincarnation of his dog. Bok-i was just not a loyal dog, it was a dog that didn't abandon Jinung even after death. Jinung as you know is from a dysfunctional family. So, stuff like that matters in visceral ways. Also, Do Yeon is a bit of an oddball and pretty much left to raise herself as her parents are almost mostly at work. It's sweet how she still wears her hair in those primary school style double ponytails. π
choo young woo's acting in the latest ep is insane. the fact that he was able to distinctively act like bongsu,…
I, too, was impressed. He did so well as Bong Su masquerading as Gyeonu. All the while Bong Su was pretending to be Gyeonu, I kept thinking something was off about him and I felt like it was Bong Su, yet, when Seonga didn't say anything, I double guessed myself till finally Seonga called Bong Su out for the charade. Throughout that time, it felt like we were watching Bong Su Lite since his charade was sans his trademark sarcasm.
You are diabolical! π€£ And to put your reply in a spoiler box... I am cackling! Taking a cue from you, I marking my response as a spoiler as well. π
The creators were intentionally ambiguous about it, and I wouldn't take LYN's words for any kind of confirmation.…
You know what, I too had mentioned about NF fiddling with the name card in one of my earlier comments! Also, it was quite weird how his manager did all the talking. What seemed to be arrogance was perhaps a ploy to prevent NH/NF from accidentally mentioning about him travelling from the script...? Like who'd think he's in his right mind if he starts spewing about being a character from a script. OR NF travelled into the script at the same time as SXY. Basically, his interest in her in the modern world simply evolved into genuine love in the script world. The only time NF shows any mild interest in the meeting is when SXY "innocently" suggests SYM fainting at NH's feet and he smirks. What you said about the portal makes so much sense.

I still can't forget how NF paused as he was walking past her in the first episode. Yet, the brief glimpse of a portal makes me unsure. π€·π»ββοΈπ

I love the drama, even though I absolutely prefer HEAs. I actually meant the instrumental song which is still on my playlist! (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b0PpmEuYKmw&list=PLXnZXmMm1x-_jr8KJQqf2Og-KZ-3hZTDF&index=10&pp=iAQB8AUB) Whenever I feel defeated and want to throw a tiny pity party for myself or just tap into my melancholic side, I play this song. It's such a great composition. The theme song is quite pleasant too. π When I had first watched the show, I fell in love with its title too, LOL! N no Tame ni sounds just so mysterious, yet so clear in intent. I guess the show's storyline too played a role in how I came to perceive its title. π

It's been years since I watched N no Tameni! The haunting theme song accompanying the equally haunting moments. I still get chills thinking about this drama.
Also watched this because of the LR comparison. Currently in episode 2 and I find the ML rather dull. I'm not…
I have not watched TBT because it seemed too sappy for my taste which is a shame because I like the cast. However, you are right about umbrellas becoming a pop culture tool in themselves in SEA dramas. And every time it happens, I roll my eyes so hard because in most, the scene with umbrellas seems to be shoehorned in.

P. S. : A TPOB fan! Blossom last year, and TPOB and ADWAD this year have been absolute treats. π
