Yes! However, they were making him out to be a pretty prop... That is mean. Never once while watching did I think, 'I wish someone else was playing the role". Also, not everyone, including myself, watches dramas because someone looks a particular way. I have had to drop dramas because the actors could only cruise on their looks in spite of an engaging script. And have watched low production quality dramas for the opposite reason. It's better if he doesn't do a romcom next. If he does, the comparisons will be through the roof. Lets face it, it will take sometime for another romcom to create half the buzz this one did.

Yes! He is SK's very own Yang Yang. However, I do think he's a tiny bit better than YY who takes his physical appearance too seriously to ridiculous levels. Atleast, CEW is good at academics, or it's so I hear. I intensely dislike when actors seem too preoccupied with looking good vs. acting out the character. There are the rare idol-actors who I knew first as actors (I don't follow KPop, not a fan) and they are absolutely talented.

True! It's sort of my first exposure to him as well. He was excellent in both the comic and emotional bits, which is rare. Ngl, I thought he might struggle with KHY as his partner. I mean there have been times in other dramas, when you totally see the partner clearly struggling and try as they might, they look ridiculous.
