Koukan Uso Nikki leads for a J-remake, I have loved them prior to this movie and both are amazing actors. I have many other pairs as well in mind. 😅

Yeah, I liked some of the remakes so much that the originals made me cringe and I didn't watch the latter. This is coming for someone who is usually a stickler for originals.

I know Park Soyi! However, is she really 5'1?!!! Goddamn. I thought she'd be around 4'5... I mean it's a child we are talking about. *Sigh* It has to be the water...

I mean I had always assumed him to be taller than the average Japanese male. But he's head to head with BWS. I assumed SK to be around 5'11. The people I had assumed were short turn out to be quite taller than average. Partridge is tall too! I didn't realise that MBB wore heels! 😅

So dang true! But the two I mentioned are pretty decent actors, especially the latter. There may be someone underrated, however, the chances of that person existing are next to none. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Most who are the rage currently cannot act to save their lives, yet you see their faces plastered on every damn drama poster there is.

This is true. BWS practically embodies the character. I think it's also because his real life personality seems closer to Sun Jae except for the romantically inept part. 😜 Like there can be no other Li Zhi Wei like Greg Hsu, there cannot be another Sun Jae.

Yeah. True. All the capable candidates I can think of would look too old as high school students. Ooh, maybe Blue from Ready, Set, Love... However, he would not be able to pass as 34 years old. Maybe, Tre from The Love Proposal? Honestly, I'd love a Japanese or Taiwanese remake... If either do it properly with the actors I have in mind, they'd knock it out of the park.

Thanks! It was driving me up the wall. 😅 You know how sometimes when you forget something, and not remembering annoys the bejesus out of you as if your life depends on recalling whatever it is that you have forgotten. And you are not at peace the entire time you are trying to remember. That's what happened to me. 🙈

It's bugging me... In which episode does Hyun Ju look sternly at Sun Jae when he stretches his legs in the study hall? Sol is not there when this happens...

So true! It was like an unintended masterclass, especially given how they had to reshoot multiple scenes. Also, KHY has this uncanny knack of being able to elevate her co-stars' performances. To be honest, acting with the cast that they did must have been such a learning experience for BWS. Not to take credit away from him, but his ad-libs were perhaps on point because he didn't have to worry about ratings and he didn't have a lot riding on this drama given how everyone, including myself, assumed it would disappear into the void as scores of other dramas do every year. When one is not thinking much and having a good time while working hard, one is bound to end up with decent results. In LR's context, the drama has taken a life of its own. And shoutout to SGH, he's instinctively good but so dang underutilised. Every cast member was on point! 😍

As far as instinctively good acting skills are concerned, KSH is ahead by miles. I feel BWS is an actor who is very good at sensing what his director wants, provided the director is skilled enough to bring out the best in him. With an amazing director, as LR has proved, BWS can do wonders. However, KSH doesn't need to rely on the director much. This is my two cents.

Actually, I absolutely disliked QOT with a passion. In my opinion, the potential of the amazing cast was outrageously wasted. 🤷🏼‍♀️ So many missed opportunities!

Don't want to start a war, but I am going to be annoyed if KSH and KJW win. Ironically, I actually admire KSH. Became his fan post IOTBNO. However, priorities... 🤷🏼‍♀️
