I remember reading somewhere that Huang Yu Xuan was written specifically for Alice Ko, easily one of my favourite actresses. Im Sol was written keeping Kim Hye Yoon in mind. The male leads were cast after the actresses playing the female leads had already been locked for the production. Also, apparently, when Greg Hsu had walked in for the audition, all the women present sat up and took notice. While, in my opinion, Hsu is miles ahead of Byeon in terms of raw acting talent, both achieved their present success after years of struggle and it was their participation in a time travel drama that led to their breakthrough. Both dramas had limited budget and no PPL. SOOD didn't have any by choice since they didn't want to compromise on the storytelling while Lovely Runner was pretty much written off even before the production could start. Both are the results of labour of love. Both evoke nostalgia for the present working population. In both, rain plays an important role in making the male lead fall in love with the female lead. Both reference the Terminator. The coincidences are uncanny. Honestly, the South Korean remake is a travesty. LR is so much closer to SOOD in terms of the all encompassing and unconditional romance, the urgency and the heartbreak. LR is so reminiscent of SOOD overall. Love them both to bits. I love SOOD's soundtrack to this day. LR has quite a few songs that grow on you especially due to the scenes during which they are played. SOOD AND LOVELY RUNNER SUPREMACY. β€πππβ€

I was being dead serious. Afterall, denial is an important stage during the processing of one's emotions. One ought to be celebrated for being so aware about the freedom of speech which apparently only their country is capable of ensuring to its citizens. What would we, the common folk, know?

Really?! I wasn't aware that praising someone is a reflection of a fake account. I wouldn't know. But I guess for you, it takes one to know one. Not everyone can keep up with your lofty ideals.

You might want to upscale your reading comprehension... Your rare appearance was being celebrated. I guess you are humility personified. It happens. It usually happens when one tends to pop up rarely when all the hullabaloo is just about to peter down. At the very least, distance makes the heart grow fonder.
Sasaengs are scary. Apparently there were 10 taxis following Wooseokβs car. And in the hotel, the sasaengs also…
This is exactly what I had been fearing! He should seriously start maintaining a bit of distance from as well as being a teeny bit indifferent to his fans.
What I think is that this drama is excellent at not to taking itself seriously. For me, King the Land and the…
That's what's interesting. Not every OTT drama is able to pull off the absolutely ridiculous elements that it needs to. For me to suspend my disbelief, you have to do a good job to the extent that I forget to think and stop to ponder over the silliness of it all. And this drama is able to do so in spades.
Am i the only one who can't trust the SML ? He smiles and flirts a lot...like A LOT...very suspicious. I was scared…
Methinks he wanted to enter the hotel only to get material for his next movie, something that highlights the vacuous and eccentric lives of the rich in South Korea.

He should not be doing this. He seems so nice. I guess he understands how it's like to be someone's fan and never interact with them. However, I still believe he shouldn't be giving so much leeway to fans. This is coming from a Potterhead who fantasized about being in the same room as the HP cast.

Ikr?! In Japan, it sort of makes sense, due to Anime and an entire street like Harajuku being devoted to cosplay. While I find nothing wrong with anyone, male, female or other cosplaying; however, you can totally tell that this wasn't intended or comfortable for BWS.

I guess I wasn't the only one. I made a few comments regarding this earlier. There are some things that are so similar, no matter which country's entertainment industry it is. Sometimes, fan service feels a little too intrusive for the person for whom the fan meet is organised. Actually, I intensely dislike fan service performances that somehow seem like fans are taking away the agency of the artist. I mean sometimes it is all in good fun, but, nowadays, fan service is getting more and more bizarre to the extent that fans seem to have a say just because they are the ones propping up the entire fandom. I guess, had he refused, then people would have been up in arms about success having gone to his head. He really should start being a teeny bit indifferent. I know exactly what I am suggesting. I guess I just don't want celebrities whose work I admire to be too deferential to fans. He DOES NOT look too happy doing this. Fans and organisers ought to remember that this is a grown adult. To be honest, the extent to which sometimes South East Asian stars are infantalised is ridiculous. In the West, we have the exact opposite problem of children and teenagers being sexualised.
I have to ask...what's the backstory behind the Cardcaptor Sakura cosplay?π€£
You have a point. Actually, I intensely dislike fan service performances that somehow seem like fans are taking away the agency of the artist. I am a fan of both. I am aware Hyeri gets a bad rap, but she has been really good in all her shows that I have watched. I find her acting very grounded and she's not afraid to look imperfect on camera. This is coming from someone who doesn't care about KPop at all.
