hey everyone. having become addicted to lovely runner watching it a couple of times already at this point , and…
Honestly, BWS gave his best performance ever, and fortunately, it was on par with everyone else. Heck, his acting was some of the best I have ever seen in KDramas over the years. I hope he gets better and better, doing a variety of roles. I do give some credit to the LR team, the drama ended up as his very own masterclass.
What did you think of the show?It didnt impress me much, its too slow, just to make it into 40.5 episodes...sigh...…
Nah, he has had kiss scenes with older female co-stars since he was 19. He's quite talented and my introduction to him was one of his earliest ones... When he was just starting out.
ROFL. "Will sell overseas" is an understatement now. 🤪😅
If you do figure out which drama it is, please tell us. In all honesty, before LR, I didn't find his acting impressive. Not enough to make me want to seek out his other performances. Also, had probably watched him in just two of his works. (His performance in LR is some of the best acting I have seen in KDramas.) So, I do understand their concerns. However, I must admit from what little I had seen, he was way better than some people who keep getting lead roles but cannot act to save their lives. Not going to name them, but it is what is. It just annoys me that those who can, with good looks to boot; before someone starts off talking about physical appearances, are relegated to supporting or side roles.
You totally understood my perspective. Honestly, I don't completely understand why I feel differently about these two particularly. At most, I wished for certain actors to pair up again because of their beautiful chemistry. But, didn't want them to actually be together. I have never wanted to ship actual people. Yet, I still enjoyed their on-screen chemistry just as much I have enjoyed that of SolJae. It might have something to do with the time LR rolled into my life. From casually watching it to distract myself, I found myself waiting impatiently from around E07 - 08. Like you, I am still rooting for them as individuals. To be honest, I hope LR opens up a lot more avenues for the entire cast.
Wow, you are in it for the long haul. Personally, I absolutely dislike shipping real persons, I only ship characters. This is because I feel that shipping actual people takes their agency away. But, for the first time ever, I am finding myself on the edge of breaking this rule. I think it's because some of us want that kind of love and devotion that Im Sol and Sun Jae had. Or because LR caught our attention during a particularly vulnerable moment in time. I hope both find their person, if it's each other, then I guess everyone would be celebrating (and ngl, that'd be nice.)
Gotta say, it's a very cleverly written story. Viewers are probably taken aback by the outlandish direction and execution. A realistic depiction of this script would have be yawn-inducing.
