I love slice of life too! My most favourite genre. 😊 Also, love WLiS. Having said that, while I understand your viewpoints, yet, honestly I loved the FL in LR. Goes on to show that it's different strokes for different folks. I don't think age plays a huge role in liking certain types of characters. It usually comes down to what entertains you the best during a specific period of time.

I love Freaking Fairytale! Given how bizzare it is, it doesn't clash with my fond memories of LR. I love the cast, the story and its execution. Also love how differently the execution of the poor girl and rich CEO trope is being done. Also, I happen to like the leads due to their other performances. I absolutely love the OTT direction, not to forget the droll commentary of the omniscient narrator.

But, I feel KDrama fan accounts are being so dang unreasonable if this is how they have reacted. I mean, if they are true fans, they should be happy. I get being disappointed, however, to stop supporting someone just because they seem to have a mind of their own is ridiculous.

Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, however, LR's popularity may have something to do with these rumours. For the most part, atleast the MDL community has been quite respectful of those who didn't like it. Taking this as a microcosm, maybe, BWS and KHY catching upto KSH and KJW in the SDA polls may have triggered haters. So, the next step was to break those who were shipping the former pair.

Hey! Don't worry. The ones who bash the fans and call them names for liking LR are the only ones to get called out. It doesn't matter to anyone if you disliked LR. Sometimes, something really popular may not be to your taste. It happens. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 😊
