Oh god… At first glance, I wasn't particularly interested because I thought it was just the usual hype for a…
A lot of us, myself included, watched due to a variety of reasons but the plot! 😄 I have been going through a rough patch which is why I watched the first episode when it aired. The first few minutes seemed to suggest a story with substance. However, I wasn't sure if I would continue. Before long, I found myself eagerly waiting for newer episodes.
All my hopes are pinned on Tae Sung! 🤪😅 Sol has a lifetime (🥰) of getting ugly jewellery, unless; In Hyuk and hopefully, Taesung sit Sun Jae down to have a fruitful discussion on aesthetically pleasing jewellery designs...
Nope. Not at all. That's difference between overdoing it and doing just enough.
Ikr?! It took me ages to look for it! I didn't actually suggest you look for it... 🤣🙈 It's just that voice modulation in China is mistaken as acting prowess and this frustrates me to no end. Copying and pasting my earlier comment: CDrama actresses, take lessons from KHY on how to act younger or cutesy... Most end up cringing the heck out of me and trust me no young girl acts or talks the way some CDrama actresses interpret them to... KHY, too, modulated her voice for playing the 19 year old Sol... And her character came off as believable as a ditzy teenager too preoccupied by the greatest drama on earth, aka, her high school life and her "badboy" crush. However, Sol's 34 year old self masquerading as 19 year Sol was believable too. Moreover, her 34 year old self could actually have been an actual 19 year old weighed down by actual real world problems.
That’s the original watch in 2023 when Sol first time traveled, no more chances left
Huh!?! I interpreted as there being no need for chances to correct course due to KYS's death, hence, 0 chances. I took it as Sun Jae's intense, unresolved feelings towards Sol as well as regret in not being able to fully save her. In the first episode, the quack shaman says that after death, the soul ascends. If you look closely, the watch activated either when SJ died or was near death. His soul must not have ascended and gotten attached to the only object of his in Sol's possession before her very first travel into the past. It's the same watch, but because she triggered the reset, events leading to her buying the watch never happened. Due to her grandmother's dementia, memories of prior timelines got mixed up. There are times when she is lucid and times when her mind is wandering. I theorise that, prior to Sol moving prematurely during her last time travel, her grandmother must have found SJ's lost watch and must have held onto it all these years due to an odd sense of deja vu at the time of her finding it.
It's a weird plot hole because Im Sol already had the watch. She bought it from an auction. She dropped the watch…

I love the happy ending. ❤️ But is it just me that the whole time travelling and the watch wasn’t really…
I interpreted it differently. I took it as Sun Jae's intense, unresolved feelings towards Sol. In the first episode, the quack shaman says that after death, the soul ascends. The logic here is as easy as it can get without coming across as silly. It's alright. Many people watch to stop thinking about whatever it is weighing them down, hence, they might not be focusing too much. It happens.
Based on the context, do love calls mean calls for sponsorships, variety appearances, etc.?
That was exactly my question. Thank you for the clarification. I don't really care if she isn't visible in variety shows, but, I wish her to get as many interesting acting jobs as possible.
