And her character came off as believable as a ditzy teenager too preoccupied by the greatest drama on earth, aka, her high school life and her "badboy" crush. However, Sol's 34 year old self masquerading as 19 year Sol was believable too. Moreover, her 34 year old self could actually have been an actual 19 year old weighed down by actual real world problems.

The logic here is as easy as it can get without coming across as silly. It's alright. Many people watch to stop thinking about whatever it is weighing them down, hence, they might not be focusing too much. It happens.
