Also, CDrama actresses, take lessons from KHY on how to act younger or cutesy... Most end up cringing the heck out of me and trust me no young girl acts or talks the way some CDrama actresses interpret them too... KHY, too, modulated her voice for playing the 19 year old Sol... And her character came off as believable as a ditzy teenager too preoccupied by the greatest drama on earth, aka, her high school life and her "badboy" crush. However, Sol's 34 year old self masquerading as 19 year Sol was believable too. Moreover, her 34 year old self could actually have been an actual 19 year old weighed down by actual real world problems.

I think the original one wasn't because it looked way more cheaply manufactured. Or, it was just unintended thumb prints that made it look so atrociously cheap. It may be in universe 'branded' jewellery but I still find it hideous. Folks, it is what is... 🤪😅

Yeah, when comes to KDramas, it does feature in my absolute favourites list. It also features in my overall favourites list. Only, there are many others that sort of push it down farther in the list. 😍🥰🙈

Oh, I got the actress wrong. I know which couple you are referring to.

They are good actors, but, I guess I can't imagine them in these roles. I was previously thinking of Liang Jun and Steven Zhang but maybe it's better to take actors who are actually in their early 20s. Even though both of them, like BWS, can actually convincingly play high schoolers. The drama I mentioned previously portrays the leads having a similar dynamic in terms of romance. Plus, Wu has the height and acting chops to deliver the both SJ's adorable dorkiness and emotional moments. He is really good at the smaller, emotional beats. And his co-star is one of the most promising young actresses I have seen. I had yet another couple in mind... But they are underrated even more than KHY and BWS ever were inspite of years of being in the C-ent industry.
