Usually I find scenes such as that between SJ and Sol's grandmother cringey. But this felt so damn sincere. I also loved how understated the moment was. Also, I love understated proposals... Intimate, short, elegant, to the point, and heartfelt. The actual proposal in LR will go down as one of the best in my viewing experience, if not the best. 💛💙❤

Actually, they are quite dissimilar. The drama writer added a lot of depth to the original story. There is no taxi driver or Tae Sung. Sun Jae didn't know of Sol during their high school days. He died due to an accidental combination of medicines that shouldn't be taken together. And some other changes.

When Sol moved to trigger a complete reset of events, her grandmother was yet to get dementia. I hypothesise that SJ lost his watch prior to Sol moving and her grandmother held onto it all these years due to a feeling of deja vu... as all memories leave an imprint on the soul.
