Usually I find scenes such as that between SJ and Sol's grandmother cringey. But this felt so damn sincere. I also loved how understated the moment was. Also, I love understated proposals... Intimate, short, elegant, to the point, and heartfelt. The actual proposal in LR will go down as one of the best in my viewing experience, if not the best. 💛💙❤

Honestly, I didn't see this particular scene as cute even as I saw it for the very first time. It was almost a foetal position. He had just been through the wringer and it felt like he was clinging to her for dear life, scared that she would once again disappear from his memories. My suspicion was confirmed when he admitted to Sol later that he feared her travelling across time again and losing his memories of her.
