I didn't mean that there's no SA. (Although I'm surprised about "tons of it", we're probably not watching the same dramas. That's my mistake, then.) I meant that it doesn't usually happen between the leads and is just brushed off five seconds later like nothing happened and we're not expected to keep watching and root for them to end up together after it happened. That's what I meant. You can show SA in dramas. My issue is when it's not treated like SA but just like a small thing that happened to get the plot going and the character who did the assault doesn't end up suffering repercussions.

I literally stopped watching right after that scene. I feel like most writers wouldn't dare have a scene like this between a man and a woman (at least, not in the recent years) so I don't know why they thought it would be okay between two women... It's like the typical BL but in GL form.

I'm going to be honest, I felt the exact same way at some point when I was watching the series because the writers did put too much focus on their relationship so I thought "they wouldn't dare, would they??" but I guess they were just trying to play with people's expectations. I loved what Ryo said in an earlier episode about friendships between men and women and there are SO many things about her character that I could relate to when watching so I'm really glad that they didn't go there in the end.

It's so funny to me how even during the last episode, watchers were still shocked and confused saying "what??? Ryo and Ritsu really won't end up together???" as if that wasn't the whole point of the series!! I believe she's expressed her lack of desire to be in a romantic relationship enough times throughout the drama and it's also literally in the title... It really wouldn't have made sense if after all of that, the writers had still chosen to make them end up together.

The best part of the drama for me was definitely the sisterhood. Seeing Duanwu slowly get closer to different women, gain their trust and even admiration, also all those scenes with the songstresses where they were just chatting and laughing together were so nice to see.

I’m really enjoying this drama!! The cases are all pretty engaging and also, I’m a sucker for duos with clashing personalities who end up working together.

Futoshi’s mom is my favorite character. She was the best part of the drama for me. (And definitely the best actor…)

This drama is (surprisingly) my current obsession. It wasn’t the one I was looking forward to the most when it was announced but it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites this season! I love everything about it, the Showa setting, the outfits, the leads’ interactions, the side characters too. Matsumoto Honoka is just perfect as expected and I have to say that this is probably the drama that made me enjoy Suzuka Ouji’s acting. This role really suits him. I can’t wait for the next episode!!

This drama is amazing. I started watching it for Vivian Sung and I'm so glad I did. Her acting is just excellent. She's so natural in her delivery and everything that I wondered a few times if certain scenes were improvised.

Psychiatry is NOT "bullshit." It's a specialty of medicine and it is important and necessary for many people. You cannot treat debilitating mental illness by simply drinking more water and taking morning walks in the park. And reading articles doesn't make your opinion more valid.

I feel like this one is kind of different because she does wear make-up but only "plain" colors because of her boyfriend (and her lack of self-confidence) but she's the one who asks Eve to teach her about make-up so she's definitely interested in it!

This was so good, I kind of hate that it only has four episodes... (':
I really liked how diverse the cast was and how everyone in the troupe actually had disabilities because as they all said themselves in one particular scene: it's unfair how producers always get able-bodied actors to play disabled characters since they already get to play every role they want while actors with disabilities can only play disabled characters but can't because those opportunities get taken away from them. I thought that scene was SO important.
Also, the drama they were filming? I would totally watch the whole thing!

Ohhh do I see a fellow BESTY?? I'll admit I started this drama because Ryoki is in it and I'm a fan of BE:FIRST but I ended up really enjoying the drama itself, it's so good!!

This is surprisingly one of my favorite dramas this season! It's so silly and hilarious but the plot is pretty engaging. I started watching it for Shinohara Ryoko and I think she really suits this kind of "quirky" character. For some reason, it reminds me a bit of her role in Last Cinderella (which I love). I also really enjoy all of her interactions with Bakarhythm. They make a great duo!
