This is surprisingly one of my favorite dramas this season! It's so silly and hilarious but the plot is pretty engaging. I started watching it for Shinohara Ryoko and I think she really suits this kind of "quirky" character. For some reason, it reminds me a bit of her role in Last Cinderella (which I love). I also really enjoy all of her interactions with Bakarhythm. They make a great duo!

because their made for the Japan audience not you and you don't need to watch it.
There is absolutely no country in the world where it should be normalized for adults to date teenagers. Get yourself checked if you think it’s okay.

I'm tired of the whole "autistic=genius" trope but aside from that, the first episode was pretty enjoyable and Kadowaki Mugi is just adorable.

I’ve been enjoying this drama from the beginning despite not thinking there was anything really special about it but episode 6 just made me love it SO much more, I had to leave a comment! This episode is so so so important and so well made and I love all the different ways they showed what consent meant. It’s so important for Japan to have these conversations. I liked Riko’s acting in Black Cinderella but her performance in this drama is something different! She really moved me.

Still pretty engaging. But he last 2 episodes have been very cringe worthy. Mostly because of the aff**r thingy.…
I mean... He's an abuser who's attracted to high school girls, I don't know how else they could portray him. Unless I'm misunderstanding your comment.

Dang, the first episode had one heck of an impact! The first episode alone will probably get 9/10. And the biggest…
Fun fact, the drama Itaike ni koishite also uses an Olivia Rodrigo song as the theme song.

So Yamamoto is so poor that she doesn't even have 300-350 yen ($2-$3) to pay for the divorce certificate?
I believe it's more about the consequences of getting a divorce. She's a housewife with two kids... She doesn't have the finances to raise them all by herself.

Any romance?
Sorry, I just saw your comment! I wouldn't say that there is romance but the relationship between the leads is really nice, especially towards the second half.

Well… At least, it wasn’t as bad as the manga (which isn’t hard since the manga is terrible) !

I really enjoyed this drama!!! Great performance from Wakamura Mayumi! It was also super interesting to watch her every week in this drama and then in Hatsukoi, Zarari because her role there is so different.

All the actors are in their late 20s, lol. Kinda strange for a high school setting but since it's "10 years ago"…
Well yes, because they kept the actors from the main drama where they play adults. It's just a spinoff.
