This is confusing. It was Thursday and no 4th episode came out? Am I missing something?
The episode did come out but it's only available on ABEMA's streaming service. They usually do this with their dramas. They only post the first few episodes full on YouTube and for the rest, you need to have access to their website/app.
I started this with zero expectations but it's so intriguing and fascinating. The acting is phenomenal and the soundtrack and cinematography really draw you in. Definitely one of the most interesting dramas this season.
You don’t “cure” aromanticism if that’s what you meant… it’s not a disease.
I'm guessing what they mean by values is believing that you don't need romantic love to be happy? Although I couldn't find anything that mentions values in the Japanese synopsis.
I think the main issue with people who don't understand aromanticism is that they see it as not feeling love = not having emotions when actually there is more to life than romantic love. You can still love your friends, family, pets, have hobbies and aspirations, be passionate about things... But I'm curious to see how they will deal with the subject too.
We really need more women-centered dramas about best friends just going through life. I don’t think I’ll move on from this one any time soon. It’s so well-written and the acting from the three leads was great. I had never seen Wang Ju act before, I only knew her from Produce so I was especially looking forward to her acting and she really impressed me. Hope to see her in more works!!
So sad that it's over... Definitely one of my top dramas of 2021!! I will miss all the cast, both the main and supporting characters were sooo lovable!
The plot is pretty simple but for some reason I'm really enjoying this drama. It's short, it's cute and the acting feels so natural, sometimes I even forget that there's a script. I'm impressed since for a lot of the cast, it seems to be their first drama.
It actually bring something new to death genre, it brought new viewers hahahah...People who was not fond of death…
I think one of the main reasons it got so much attention is that it's a Netflix production so it's more accessible to a lot of people worldwide. Also it's all over social media and there's memes of it everywhere. I do think some of the praise is because it's South Korean. East Asian media is kind of a trend these days... But yeah, I understand that some people might like it! I just personally didn't and wanted to share my opinion.
I only watched this to see what the hype was all about and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed??? Like the games weren't that interesting and the ""twist"" at the end just made me go "what- that's it?" I guess if you're not familiar with this genre, you might enjoy it but if you've seen dramas/anime or read books/manga with a similar concept (and it's been done SO many times) you're probably not going to be impressed. Well I wasn't at least. To me it doesn't really bring anything new to the death game genre. The sets were pretty cool though, especially the colorful stairs. That's one thing I liked.
Only watched the first two episodes but I cried like four times already... (': I only started watching this because Zhou Yutong was in it (her acting didn't disappoint, she's so good) and I ended up loving the story so much. The whole cast is fantastic!
To be honest, I’ve never really liked dramas about gaming and I only started watching this for Dilireba BUT surprisingly I’m really enjoying it! I love the atmosphere and the pacing, it’s really nice. (It stills takes everything in me not to skip all those gaming scenes though, I can’t lie.)
This drama really shows how messed up the justice system is... The last episode made me so angry but I'm sure…
Like the fact that the police killed the man who was getting revenge for his dead daughter and thus protected the one who assaulted and killed multiple girls. Or how they're so desensitized to rape and assault that they watched the video like they were just casually watching the news at home on a Sunday morning (one of them was literally brushing his teeth and rubbing his stomach while watching). This scene really stood out to me.
This drama really shows how messed up the justice system is... The last episode made me so angry but I'm sure that was the point. And I liked the talk at the end about how "police don't protect the citizens, they protect the law". Really loved this drama.
