The one thing that I disliked the most has to be the unnecessary romance. I mean,, I knew it was coming because writers can't make a woman interact with a man without making them fall in love, for some strange reason, but he literally attacked her two or three times and told her to be his.... "slave" ??? So I'd like to know the exact moment where she thought "hmmm yeah I like that weirdo" because I can't really imagine it.
I absolutely adore Koshiba Fuka, her characters always have SO much personality! It's been a while since I've laughed this much during the first episode of a drama.
There is a difference between saying something and doing something. Sometimes words alone are not enough, you…
They didn't "share a kiss", HE kissed HER without her consent. (I guess that's easy to misunderstand from the comments if you haven't even watched the drama.) And she didn't tell Izumi at first because when she was about to, she saw him hug another girl and left. (Another typical drama cliché, I know...) And yes, Izumi does have an inferiority complex and is obsessed with comparing himself to his brother. If you're confident in yourself, you don't care that someone else is more "successful" than you. (I wouldn't even say he is, they just have very different personalities...) But the whole story is messy and all the characters are stupid, to be honest. I'm just biased and tend to always root for the female lead no matter what she does, which is why I said none of them deserve her. Truth is, they just don't deserve each other!
At this point, I want Akari to end up single because none of these dudes deserve my girl.
Akari: You're the one that I like, Izumi. Izumi: But my brother is better than me, you probably like him more. Akari: I just said I like yo- Izumi: But my brother!!! He's so perfect in every way, you should definitely like him instead of me. Akari: ........ Like???? He said he hates being compared to his brother but he's the one doing it the most. Maybe he should fix his inferiority complex before thinking of dating someone. 🤷🏽♀️
I think that is one of mystery J-drama weaknesses, just pick the most famous person on that group to be the culprit/leader…
It's also just that Fuma's most distinctive feature is the very feature that is NOT hidden by the mask so obviously, even non-fans could tell it was him. (':
So I read the manga before the drama started because I wanted to compare the two and I have to say I was wondering if Fuma was really fit for the role when reading it... But as soon as he came on screen, I immediately understood why they picked him. I never thought his acting was that great before but he really surpassed himself in this. The creepy smile, the slow blinks, the tone of his voice too! It's so different from anything he's done before, I'm quite impressed. It's just a pity that the drama is so short. The story deserves more than five episodes, in my opinion.
The second episode was the most ridiculous, nonsensical thing I have seen in years..... It had me laughing during parts that were not even supposed to be funny but I guess that means it keeps me entertained, at least! Anyways, I will keep watching for Ao Oni <333 (it's so painfully obvious who plays him, I almost feel bad).
I didn't expect this to be so entertaining!! Hirose Suzu's character already has my whole heart. (': The cinematography is so beautiful (except for the filter they used in the first part, it was giving me Instagram vibes....) and the acting is good too. Nagase Ren is probably one of the current young Johnny's idols with the least bad acting, for me at least. Oh and also, the ending credits? Absolutely adorable.
This was so much fun to watch!! I'm somehow getting used to this format (since Kono Hatsukoi wa Fiction desu)…
If I had to say one thing though, I do feel like everyone forgave each other way too easily... I know they're kids and they make mistakes but yeah... If someone slapped me in the face I probably wouldn't be having a sleepover with them on the same day. 😅
This was so much fun to watch!! I'm somehow getting used to this format (since Kono Hatsukoi wa Fiction desu) and I actually like it for some reason, it really manages to keep me invested.
This is so entertaining, I didn't expect to enjoy it this much! I really like the dynamics of the main trio and Eripiyo is hilarious and so relatable at times. (': I'm also learning a lot of idol/fan related vocabulary (really appreciate the little explanation that comes up every time)!!
Watched this on the plane just because I wanted to pass some time (+ I love Amami Yuki) and it was surprisingly a lot of fun!! I love the cast! Also it’s a comedy but it still managed to get me emotional towards the end. (':
