Yall, I'm having the biggest regret today..I don't know what blinded me. I usually wait and binge watch shows…
omg I literally feel the exact same way! I started it thinking that it's already complete and I'm so hooked. I came onto MDL and saw that it is still airing and will continue until December!!? I was so ready to binge watch it :') Waiting sounds like such a painn
I'm gonna watch this cause I'm curious why it's rated so low
You know I watched this before I saw the mdl rating and I’m still on the first season (episode 4). I am SHOCKED at the low rating honestly…I feel like it is a bit slow paced but not to the extent that I’d lose interest.
It’s actually pretty engaging and all the questions I have- I am looking forward to getting them answered. I even thought that it might be more gory with a zombie type outbreak but really it just goes to show how chaos and humanity losing it’s way doesn’t always have to stem from the supernatural and often times humans are the driving cause in their own destruction.
Anyways, I’ve said too much but if you’ve read this far thank you. Give it a try though. It’s quite an interesting show.
omg you haveee to watch her in Sisyphus: the myth - she did an amazing job and the storyline was soo interesting!
I can’t say much since I watched it a few years back but when I did watch it - I enjoyed it. It was supposed to be a mystery adventure action type kdrama with very dystopian vibes (and personally I enjoy watching dystopian content).
But it did the job I’d have to say- the plot twists were hitting and I was heavily invested in all the characters and their motives.
I understand why people would leave negative comments about it though since the storyline was challenging to follow and the main lead wasn’t conventionally attractive - this is quite silly reason to hate on a show though :/
Give the first episode a try though- it’s engaging right from the start and who knows? you might like it.
Love how the potion game can be played both ways since I just spent 5 minutes reading all the blurbs and guessing which show it would be before clicking on the potion. Only got one right though :')
This drama has ended my KDRAMA SLUMP ❣️❣️❣️❣️ Its soo good that I regret watching it when its…
omg same! It kind of reminds me of a kdrama I watched a few years ago called 'You're All Surrounded'. It doesn't have any fantasy to it but it centers around a group of new detectives. A little funny with a really good mystery element to it. I feel like you might enjoy it if you haven't already heard of it:)
Its really not rocket science to understand when you have your beloved on the receiving end of a murder crime,…
I completely understand where you're coming from. It's important to look at it from different lenses and you're viewing his character as an audience member. Personally, I don't feel that Han Daon's character wavers during the first 6 episodes. I think for the most part his intentions have always been clear. Ever since he found out that Judge Kang is a demon that kills murderers and sends them to hell, he has tried to find evidence to support that at any chance he gets. However, his romantic feelings for her come in the way which of course clouds his judgement. Then the line between who he should be and how he feels kind of fades away which is why you see him all over the place: sometimes caring for her, many times expecting things from her and most times just trying to do his job as a detective and conventionally righteous person.
But people are flawed and so seeing a flawed character is just so...fun? It gives you room to analyze them and try to find reason in their behaviours. However, this is no exam where we have to analyze character like we do people and sometimes we just want to see a well written character that fits perfectly into the fictional world of the story.
The killer is probably the new detective. It explains why it was impossible to get a clue all these years. He…
You know I feel like the serial killer J is going to be that Assemblyman's oldest son. But I'm purely going off of my gut feeling and I could be completely wrong! I guess we'll see, can't wait for next week's episode :D
Maybe it's because I have consumed so much bad tv in the past few days but I thought this was a masterpiece. There was actually....nothing lacking. If you even view this show from a cinematic perspective EVERYTHING was so well done. I think some people might have felt that when they found out the truth about the 4 minutes was underwhelming because of the drop in adrenaline levels.
Viewers are constantly tested and anxiety levels are on the rise when we see something fresh and new like Great's timeline during the 4 minutes in the beginning. This is why when that 'big reveal' finally comes...it doesn't feel that big at all. I feel like there is beauty in that? The calm after the storm kind of vibes.
SPOILER!! DOn't read further if you haven't finished the show -
Nothing was lacking - not even Tonkla's character. Which I agree was major red flag signs but it was...his character you know? Even his ending, it just seemed appropriate for his character to do something like that. He was damaged beyond repair that death felt like a relief - which is why I guess we didn’t get to see his '4minute' timeline - because he was completely done...tired if you will?
Anyways, this is just my 2 cents and I do tend to blab on like some critic but at the end of the day I'm just a girl who LOVES to see a bl with an extraordinary storyline and production.
i can relate. it started off good and they messed it up
rightt? Its so melodramatic right now! I started watching it because I thought it was going ti be a fluffy heartwarming rom-com but now it’s just giving major depresso vibes. The historical part would have been wayy better if they just told it to us in one go and not in sequences since its starting to get a bit repetitive and they still haven’t told the viewers how that girl actuallyyy died.
this is so true!! I’m currently watching King the land- I gave it a go since it showed up on my Netflix page but wow…I cannot believe I sat through 6 episodes of that!! I am a romance lover but I feel like this show had nothing new to offer. It followed the same style as every other romance kdrama, rich guy, poor girl and all the jazz. But at least in other dramas there is some sort of character development- I’ve watched 6 episodes and so far the main lead literAlly does not do any work. At least it shows that the girl worked her bum off to get where she is but the guy fr— no ambitions to excel. Even though he has been hurt by that step sister of his, he doesn’t do anything about it!! Looks like his secretary does most of the work.
I completelyyy agree with you! I am on the 25th episode and seriously considering if I should soldier through it and waste more of my time watching this complete mess. I honestly don't know how you managed to complete it without frying your brains out. THis drama had such a good start, the plot was inviting from the beginning but then it just got progressively worse by every episode. I felt like I was wasting my time with the dream arc but I had some hope for good character development after the dream but nopeee, they just manage to mess it up again.
