I don't think JCW is any less pretty face or less popular, if you think that made KSH get a nomination. Also,…
Lol. I am not getting any brave. I just used OP's reasoning to show how absurd they are. The fact you were so quick to reply me when I just used the same reasoning for JCW tells how people are double standard.
This was my first Xianxia drama. I enjoyed it thoroughly. It is worth every praise. Dylan Wang was the MVP in this drama.
As my first Xianxia drama, there are few things which I found "shocking". In any fantasy drama I like it when powers and magical things are limited but that is not the case for Xianxia drama I think. It is the charm of this genre maybe. But there are some scenes which took me by surprise... like FL coming infront of SML wearing a mask and entering the Haotian Tower... OR when ML saves FL at Haishi City, he becomes giant and FL is on ML's palm... AND similar scenes. I think I found those scenes being poorly shot/executed.
I'm not worried for anything more than that worm in Seo Yul's body. Please writers, if you ever want him dead in your show then please give him some heroic ending and not because of a stupid worm.
I'm currently on the 10th episode. I have pretty much grown to like every character. Can anyone spoil the death of any major character by the end of season 1. It is just that I want to be mentally prepared.

People accused that the drama was set in 1987 against the backdrop of June struggle. That is why there was a controversy in the first place.

[On March 30, JTBC released a second statement regarding the controversy that read, "Snowdrop is set around the 1987 presidential election, and not a drama that deals with the pro-democracy movement".]
There are some factual errors in your review. Please correct it, because it can mislead people.
[1] "Snowdrop" is NOT set against the backdrop of the 1987 Democracy Movement in South Korea or the June Struggle.
"Snowdrop" is set around the 1987 South Korean presidential election. That is in November and December 1987 and NOT June 1987
[2] "Snowdrop" hasn't overcame all the controversies because of the Blue House. Blue House and Korea Communications Standards Commission are yet to issue their statements regarding the drama which would come in a week from now. The statement you're using was given by Blue House in May 2021, when the drama faced controversy in March and April 2021.
Snowdrop overcame all the controversies during its run because many allegations came out as false.

The other person was talking about the character. So, I thought you also wanted to talk about the character. But, now I get that you were talking about the actor.

But no one from international kpop and kdrama has created a megathread on reddit, or blogged on tumblr or anyone has spent their time on tweeting about it. This actually proves that the international koreaboos were never actually interested in the controversy surrounding Snowdrop but were more interested in controversy of a drama starring "a big cast". But reading those old comments about Snowdrop now makes me laugh.
It has over 21M+ views and 1M+ likes. I was surprised.
For me it was episode 8.
Wishing that last two weeks is able to surpass it.
Also, KSH is one of the best actor in his peers.
4th episode is very good. I liked it.

Tbh, I started to like her after she decided to leave the group on her own after being bitten by the bully guy.
