I have not even watched season 2 I just finished season 1 let me be honest about the drama I hope u guys won't…
Esom is not in the second season. You can try watching that, if you still think it’s slow and boring, then probably this show/genre is not your taste, you may leave the series at that. And if you think Season 2 is better, then voila, you’ve found yourself a gem.
I don't know why are people bothered by possible romance between the ML and Go Eun... they have good chemistry…
I don’t remember most of the things that happened in season 1 and 2. But I do remember that somewhere in there, their relationship was implied to be of the sibling kind. That’s why. Or that he sees her as his sister. It definitely was somewhere in those lines.
I’ve watched three of her shows so far: Family Matters, Kingdom, and The Silent Sea. Her character in all three shows were exactly the same, a woman going through a hard time that can’t afford being happy.
Her acting is the same in all three shows. If you pick Yeong Su from Family Matter and put her in Kingdom as Seo Bi, nothing will change, same applies to the other two.
She portrays these three characters perfectly, so it’s not like she’s lacking. But all three characters are almost the same, they can be interchanged.
I need to watch a show where she’s different and is lively. Otherwise, I’ll keep thinking her acting is soulless and the same. Of course, she’s a big star and she’s successful, so she can’t be bad, so I need to pick a different show.
I absolutely loved it that every time that US politician came on screen, the background music immediately turned to 🇺🇸 🦅 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅
It was nice being a part of this very chaotic comment section. I appreciate the people who were very respectful even when we had differing opinions. I’ll probably forget this drama after a couple of days and never come back to the comment section.
I looked forward to coming to this section after finishing each episode. I’ll probably never have the same experience on any other drama, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
This show’s biggest problem was that too many things happen off-screen. You’re just supposed to take everything…
Oh, and Jong Hui become a celebrity/actress or something of that sort, in case you didn’t catch it. She says “the broadcast was delayed,” and you’re just supposed to accept that too without seeing a proof of it.
Did anyone felt heartbroken seeing Jeong Bun and Ho Suk ignoring Jong Hui when she came to their house making…
Yes. That ate me up too. They really were good friends during their Cheong Ah days. With how the story unfolded, it clearly showed that the girls did not know it was Jong Hui’s mother who instigated all this. So, without knowing that, they were indirectly blaming Jong Hui for what happened to Yeong Rye. I mean, they were ignoring her already when they didn’t know the actual reason. Sure, it’s not like they should’ve pampered Jong Hui when she came or started worshipping her. But you get what I mean right? They were already being harsh without knowing the background details. They were already being harsh when they thought that Jong Hui was a victim too. It just shows their one-sidedness.
This show’s biggest problem was that too many things happen off-screen. You’re just supposed to take everything that the writer says at face value. They never show how Jae Pil fell in love, how Hyeon fell in love, how Yeong Rye won Miss Seoul, how Jong Hui apologized to Yeong Rye, how the girls made up after that incident, how the Ko family shifted to Seoul, why the Bus attendants were living with the Ko family, along with the Kos, why did Ma Sang Cheol and the Hans decide to move with them, how Yeong Rye got into the college.
Sure, they throw a one-liner at your face. For example: Yeong Rye saying that Jong Hui gave her the scholarship. But how did that happen? That’s up to your imagination.
I was really enjoying watching it. I went in here with a ray of hope. A story about bus attendants felt so fresh and something you’ve never seen on screen. But after episode 6, this drama shot on its own knees.
Episode 6 was the best that happened to this show. I was literally giggling and smiling watching that episode. But after that, it became a test to my sanity.
Wow. So this writer has written Crash Course In Romance and Weightlifting Fairy - two dramas I’ve dropped or put on hold. No wonder, I am having a hard time watching this one too. Just one episode left and I’ll probably never jump in in any of her works.
And if you think Season 2 is better, then voila, you’ve found yourself a gem.
Win-win either way.

Until we meet again.

A 7.5 for me.
