this drama is very difficult to like since it's a cliché with all the things I could care less about, but I love…
Are you seeing any potential or existing chemistry between the leads?? I love somin's acting and wooshik is great too but i can't quite see them in a rom com. So i'm hesitant to start it.
I started watching this today and i was under the impression that the FL, her brother and his daughter are all siblings so i was SO surprised when yangyang called shaojie dad LMAO. I'm now curious, like why does bro have a whole 10 something year old daughter?? Who or where the mom? im wayy too curious about this
why do you expect others to also kiss up to this show and rate it well when they have other opinions then? I told you not to be ignorant and you are so offended by that??
after the way they portrayed arabs in king the land, i can tell they are NOT going to make a great leap from that....
my point is portrayal of other cultures and ethnicities is Soo backwards. of course I don't disagree that Arabs DO act that way. but it's not like they aren't using the whole caricature to sell their own ML and use these troupes to push their main lead's love story.
WHERE ON EARTH DID YOU WATCH THIS??? i can't find it ANYWHERE
OMGGG THIS LINK ACTUALLY WORKS !!! I can understand Koreana bit I'll still run it through a translator for more accuracy. THANK YOU SOO MICH FOR THIS !! I've been looking for this for YEARS 😭💗
It feels sad that everyone in the comment makes any assumptions about the casts being calculative, indecisive,…
ikr, this happens all the time in dating shows. Especially with female contestants, at least one of them will be labeled a 'mean girl' and hated on. I absolutely hate how people treat these contestants as characters in a drama or even much worse. I think the dating show culture breeds this thought process as in anyone who puts them online or in a show should automatically be ready for hate and even criticism in bad faith. I hope people extend more empathy towards those who put themselves out there. I see myself in some of these contestants and if i entered this show and got scrutinized for every single thing, i'd honestly regret my decision.
Holly shit,Someone notice that Wataru was there when Misa out from hospitalhttps://x.com/raddishsays/status/1941383952469750065?t=IIyB7_bA1rdW7n8cMvwf8w&s=19
That's crazy that someone caught this but yes, he has been loitering around all the damn time lmao
Really? I'm totally drawn by the drama and the way this drama tell this story. It's raw.
i suppose the free talk about sex ed and also period is good to see. For some reason even period talk was censored in some dramas i have seen before. The story isn't glamorized like regular school romance and that is fitting of the theme and so, I did hope the story would be very interesting to keep me hooked but i didn't really feel the urge to keep up with it sadly.
Maybe this drama is not for you., we all have different tastes, time is gold, I would do the same thing as you…
I wouldn't personally say all k-dramas are great these days. A select few actually amaze me, however I did want to communicate that there is variety. I too am contemplating on watching some anime as well haha. I find some older animes i never tried may be worth, new shows? not exactly sure. I am pleasantly surprised by your optimistic response because most cdrama fans are very fandom orientated that they end up fighting if there isnt a positive review of their favorite actor/actress. i am glad i can express my thoughts her as well without getting attacked haha.
So…. I am considering dropping this after just 4eps. I initially enjoyed the cringe romance that this served me however, the screenwriter was definitely not sure how to continue it and lost the plot. I have enjoyed similar plots before, however, this time a few decisive factors make it hard for me to continue with the show. Might just spoil the rest through tiktok then. For starters, the acting of both the leads are just ‘decent’ and even with that they could go quite far. However, the script as I mentioned gets quite plain and boring that there is not proper chance for romance to bloom and definitive romantic moments that actually prove the chemistry between the two leads. While the look good and look good together, they don’t quite seem like a couple actually in love or falling in love, this is especially true with the ML. Anyhow what makes me even more frustrated is when I can’t continue watching the show even for the actors or actresses I actually enjoy watching who primarily play supporting or side roles. For example, the actress who plays ‘hwa seon’ mostly plays the bxtch role and does a good job at it. But I haven’t seen her in a main role yet. I contemplated continuing this show just for her but her scenes are like what 2%? I also enjoyed the performance of female servant, seon chaek’s parents and brothers as well as the shaman role’s actors. They all set up a fun environment. But like I mentioned there is no point when I just look at the time stamp to hope I finished most of the ep so I can move on.
If you enjoy the show, good for you. I do hope to have more than one good show to watch at a time but I barely get that opportunity with how disappointing most kdramas can get these days.

my opinion on the way the drama is shot has absolutely nothing to do with how beautiful it makes the actors look. I find it to be rather boring, precisely because it does nothing?? like of course camera work isn't all but the script itself feels weirdly written wherein the characters and their dialogues seem more for the audience to know rather than how normally people talk to each other. Besides, the actors not being very beautifully portrayed is fine by me, but their acting seems so robotic and i can't find any chemistry to even be attached to them.
I do primarily watch kdramas, however, i am picky with those too. Besides not all kdramas are ceo romance and about chaebols so i find the generalisation quite odd, since i've seem at least 5 different generes of kdramas this year alone, it could also be your perception, that too is subject to personal opinions i suppose.
I do watch some jdramas once in a while. Jdramas are almost always a hit or miss. nice enough, i found a good one recently so i guess you were right about that haha.
tried watching this cause i've had relatively better impressions of both the main leads in other shows.......why does it feel like i'm watching a school play?? also why is this shot so boringly?? it's like the actors are doing a meh job and the it's shot in such a boring way, i can't even force myself to watch this mann..... anyhow might lock in for their next projects but this one is just....not worth the effort to keep up with.
likeeeee.... and honestly, why even name it "Be Passionately in Love" if you are going to throw the passion away?…
This is so relatable. They kept playing at it for 10eps so i was giving it more time just to be clowned at ep11. Then i knew that i can't do this if there are like NO real scenes of physical intimacy past this. I personally think the FL actress could've easily stuck with very minimal romance as in romance being 1% of the plot or just scripts with no romance at all.
Besides there are even actors who don't want to do very intimate or romantic things on screen and they just choose scripts accordingly so unless her agency is forcing her, i do hope not, she is better off not playing these roles.
I don't know much about the ML actor but i suppose from other comments he was fine with actually playing out the kissing scenes ??
i just think it's a lost opportunity and a play on audience's expectations.
Dropped this today after ep11. I was totally rooting for this drama but got dissapointed SO quick. This usually happens with cdramas for me, it's always a 50/50 chance wherein, the drama absolutely crashes halfway through.
There is alot talk about kissing scenes and their lack thereof. I haven't read the og novel but the script seems to want to ride on the romantic AND sexual tension between two young adults. Of course not all cultures are the same when in comes to physical stuff before marriage or commitment. But when you set the scene for a high romance plot which focuses on chemistry between the two characters, it is kinds crucial to have something physical ??
If i am clicking on a drama with similar plot, i am probably expecting chemistry some skinship and cringy scenes. But it feels more like i was played by not knowing prior.
I personally found both the Main leads to have some level of chemistry and they are both evidently good actors. I just think picking scripts that don't suit your possibilities may not be the best. I might've enjoyed this and even rated it quite high if i could feel the chemistry elevate.
I would perhaps prefer a more impactful ending such as Daigo dying by losing himself and taking part in the slaughters…
Realistically speaking that man might've died LONG ago but with plot armor he hasn't so yeah i get the expectation for such impactful events. But i think the ending was good as is.
