I get your point. however, as mentioned by the 'leader' of the afterlife and heaven, there are certain constraints such as their limited abilities, wherein they can't just fly because they wish it and are only able to do things they normally could in the world while they were alive. If this is the case then maybe they are also only able to look the way THEY did or could throughout their life rather than taking on a completely different appearance.

It seems the accident/ incident that youngae was involved in after the spiritual encounter which was hidden may be a big clue as to what som i's identity is. Besides if som i WAS youngae she is MOST likely to look for haesuk no nakjun so yeah i'm still not convinced but we'll see i suppose.

Since i am really curious on som i's identity, here are my theories. At first i thought that she may be the cat that passed away, however i was proved wrong. Then of course, there is also the asumption that it may be youngae who has lost her memory, but this is kinda questionable since haesuk DEFINATELY saw youngae grow up and would not NOT recognise her even in her younger appearance. Therefore, this is someone haesuk isn't aware of.

I also found it kind of odd they didn't have kids or keep in touch with family or close relatives. This is evident in the fact that no one except haesuk and youngae attends nakjun's funeral. Similarly, only youngae and the 'grim reaper' are the only ones to attend haesuk's funeral. So this could be a family member/ friend from the past?? or idk even more wild assumption, a child of theirs?? However why wouldn't they raise their own child and would this child appear NOW of all time in a adult women's appearance??

Lastly i conclude with a more plausible theory. Som i could be related to nak jun's 'accident' just like the fire fighter with the younger girl he tried to rescue, it is possible that nak jun tried to save someone and got hurt, that someone being som i and she really wanted to repay him?? Anyhow i am MORE than eager for the upcoming episodes and hope for a satisfying answer to som i's identity !!

I suppose kdrama land is now obsessed with the how'l moving castle typa set up with a WAYY older seeming FL but i'm 100% here for it!! Do hope this stays interesting all throughout !!

I think shaman themes have become more prevalent in k-media and it's quite interesting to watch. Not sure if this is very accurate to real shamaism but as a supernatural drama it is a fun viewing experience for me.

As for the cast, i'm still not a BIG fan of either of them yet. However the FL's acting in pyramid game was great. I only ever remember watching yook sungjae in goblin so i'm really not sure but i want to give him a fair shot.

Since everyone is dropping their dream cast, i might as well do so. I personally want the teen version of the FL and ML in 'Love your enemy'. I think they can also kinda change the script a bit more, since the whole bad boy and quirky girl won't really sell rn and they can definitely try for a more interesting and engaging plot set in the modern day.

I know that byeon wooseok and many famous actors and actress are being considered for the main roles. But i hope we get newer and younger rookie actors who are closer to the school age, like in their early 20s like the og cast. I feel a very talented rookie can have a break through with this, given the script, acting and production are all amazing.

I hope my aspirations for this drama are not crushed but from what i see they've delayed this project forEVER so yeah hope to see this before 2030 at least ?

While i agree esther gets a lot hate, we can't counter it by hating her partner in the drama. That's not very productive. Besides i suggest people to not force themselves into a drama if the acting of either of the leads isn't their preference.

i never talked about my ideals so idk why you are assuming as you please. I generally don't like how men write women and that's a valid opinion. Sometimes women also don't write men as well. I personally don't find any of the female characters engaging either so it doesn't really matter if they are ' strong' by any means. Just cause they are not submissive doesn't mean they are automatically strong. Anyhow idk why you keep selling this point but women and people in general can be strong in many ways. There is no one way to be strong.

Well if i wanted bad writing like this, i would rather watch older shows. It seems to be up your alley but the writing has frankly killed any interest i have and so i don't see a point in watching solely for the ' strong female leads ' besides strong doesn't have to be, being abusive.

The main reason i tried this out was for the cast, but sadly its a pass for me.

This is the first Singles inferno season i tried to watch from the start. I don't know for sure if its just the setting i don't like but i could care LESS about this show. Even though its only 1hr per ep i find it SO hard to watch so im dropping it after first episode itself. Idk why past seasons were doing well but maybe they had better cast there but i just don't want to watch old stuff when i've already seen all the tea online. Anyhow i guess i just like more unique settings in dating reality shows rather than this.

I don't think I've seen a fast paced drama like this one in historical genre so I understand you. I can only remember scarlet heart being a bit hectic but it's so long ago so I can't remember all the details.

The drama I recommended is a newer show I believe. I've only seen the trailer not sure if it's out yet.

I havent watched every single historical kdrama ever however i do enjoy them and i check them out from time to time when new ones come around. Unlike cdramas historical genre is just not as popular as the contemporary setting kdramas so they have reduced in number.

So from my experience as a viewer i can tell this is the more serious type rather than laid back but i appreciate there are moments of breathers in between although they are very brief. I also totally agree that the FL goes through far more than i can keep up with however, most of the injustice she goes through makes sense? as in the times were different and she is just in a very disadvantaged position as a woman and all. However, i enjoy how she is still able to fend for herself without relying on a man solely. The romance in this is more earnest than fast paced. I think this is just how all historical ones are.
If you are finding this too much you can always check out more unserious ones such as the check in hotel hanyang ( idk the exact title) from what ive heard its more laid back. However i'm liking this as this is the only watchable and interesting historical one i've found the entirely of 2024.

I just started catching up with this drama and did they just use the irl brother of the main male lead as a decoy of the main male lead in ep8 ? if so that's so cute, the off screen brother and on screen brother have met !!
