is it? I thought it was just some random narration from her bcs as far as i remember, the lighthouse scene happened after the letter was written. but nvm.
Now that it has ended, I can say Reborn is truly one of the best C-dramas I’ve watched, a hidden gem that's not easy to come by, but such gems are what keep me constantly searching for quality dramas.
Reborn is a high school, coming-of-age story, yet its characters are portrayed with striking maturity, especially the main couple. Watching Mingshen remain steadfast despite being painfully rejected by Qingyu's "i hate you, you're a burden to me" 😭 He never gave up on her and continued to protect her quietly. and in every episode, there's always a meaningful moment between them, whether it's a stolen glance or a distant smile. Those subtle interactions never failed to tug at my heart.
As for Qiao family, I truly despised Jinrui’s parents and the grandparents the most. They were the root cause of Beiyu’s suffering. That said, I appreciate how the writers offered closure for nearly all of the characters.
*back to rewatching episode 21 and the last scene of episode 23* Reborn 100/10 for me ♥️
is the drama still so heavy and stressful? I love angst, but this one is way too heavy for me and that family…
the past few episodes aren't as heavy as before, but they are..melancholy? i don't really know how to put it. because as i watching, my eyes got teary...;')
