The last half of the drama was really rough for me. The love triangle got tiring and at some point, I just didn't care what was going on anymore. Now that this is fully subbed, it might be easier to binge it versus waiting for episodes to get subbed.

It's an okay detective drama. It's more about how the crime was executed than a whodunit. I wished they spent more time on character development instead of presenting new cases so quickly. Some people didn't like the FL but I didn't find her annoying. She didn't do stupid things or got in the way of the crime-solving.

Yes, I'm enjoying this one a lot too. Hopefully the rest of the drama will be good with a satisfying ending. I agree with you on the episode count. Normally I prefer shorter dramas but I actually wouldn't mind if this one was a few episodes longer.

Same here. I also really like Bai Yi and his loyalty to Xiao Song. The part in Ep 17, I wasn't mad when he wanted to kill Ran Yan for poisoning Xiao Song but doesn't because Xiao Song wants him to protect her instead.

Su Fu has no personality. He just shows up in the right place at the right time.

She reminds me so much of Thai actress Bella Ranee

Sometimes cringy but I think it's meant to be funny. Just go with it. The leads had a nice relationship and no complicated love triangles make this drama bearable. As with any Thai mystery drama, you always wish the characters were smarter and more consistent. I did appreciate that it wasn't the kind of drama where everyone is clueless until the big reveal at the end.

I liked it but I still have some mixed feelings about it. It took so long for the brothers to become friends and then suddenly they're best friends. I wished they had more screen time together to develop the friendship. The ending was unsatisfying.

I loved it! I felt some tension along the way with Rinko because I was worried about where they would go with her character. By the end of the series, I was so satisfied with her development and the direction they went with. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did.

I think I only got through this because the episodes are short so it was easier to watch and tolerable. It really is just ok. The story is not original, which is not really a bad thing, but it just wasn't done very well. It also felt like they were stuck in the 90s even though the timeline starts in the early 2000s.

I agree. Their relationship is problematic and not convincing because they barely knew each other... There's a lot of potential for season 2 making it better such as the ML questioning his decision to leave ET bc of an opportunity to direct his script, FL wondering if she actually does like the ML or was it all part of her obsession with him as a celebrity, Eddie Kim being a misunderstood good guy (or just a bad guy) while FL starts to feel attracted towards him, and a deeper look into the Triad life.

I didn't pay full attention when I watched this but when did he find out she was the one who kicked him off the bridge? Did I miss it or we just assume he figured it out on his own?

I wished I've watched this sooner. This series was well made and all the actors did a good job in their roles. I finished it in one day.

I enjoyed it. The investigations and forensics are not impressive but each episode kept me interested enough just to get the full picture of each crime. You can probably predict some of the parts to the mystery around his family but there were some parts I didn't expect. Hoping for an sp.

It had potential but the entire drama is a tease until things start to move forward after episode 19/20. By then, you just don't care anymore. Significant discoveries needed to happen quicker and sooner. I don't mind that there isn't a lot of romance as I was more invested in the main plot with the evil lady and the parents. This isn't really a romance drama either. Vill and Jes are more like supporting characters here.

Dan looks so young. He looks like a boy in those suits. This is so fast paced that the quality of the plot suffers a bit. It's still entertaining and Baifern's character is likeable.

Also, I couldn't take Jaet seriously because he always looked like he just woke up. I get them trying to make him look like a playboy but he be more convincing if he did his hair and buttoned up his shirt.

I thought it was alright. I just wish he realized he liked her sooner and that none of the romantic scenes between the main leads were not just anticlimactic cliche scenes that were all clustered in the last hour of the series.

I enjoyed this one. It was easy to watch with the short episodes. I went in a little worried that we would see their story when they're younger and it's progression which can feel slow at times. The flashbacks were appropriate to get a sense of what it was like for the FL and to see their relationship take off in the present. The ending was satisfying enough but felt a bit anti-climatic and rushed. A part of me wanted to see Mingrui and Bai Li get together though I am happy with both their endings... just glad Bai Li didn't end up with Ge Bi. I did want to see at least a confrontation between Luo Yang and his gf.
