modern slow burn romance drama so expect to see typical drama tropes but up until the latest episodes (28) it's still interesting seeing the ML and FL work on improving the hotel. Be patient with FL's growth in the first 12 episodes. She grows gradually overtime.
seeing the preview for the nexts eps they're shipping them. I really thought she'd end up with the other guy with…
Xue Rui is a good guy but I'm not even confident that he likes Qiao Qi romantically. At the beginning he was ready to quit his job and move away so it doesn't feel that deep... except that one time she hugged him and he looked like a guy with a crush. But yea they could have made a good pair though I feel like Qiao Qi was more flirty with Duan Ao Xiang.
Every time her family shows up at the hotel, my anxiety goes up. And Mr. Tan is alright, but what was he thinking carrying a passed out Miyu through the lobby of her workplace? I don't know how Miyu shows up to work every day. There's so much drama in her life and all her co-workers get to witness everything. 😩
Everyone on this show is pissing me off especially Miyu for being such a pushover….she needs to grow a pair…
same! I usually have high tolerance for these types of characters but I was starting to get frustrated with Miyu. But the drama itself is pretty interesting and I'm still invested.
I like that we are finally seeing Miyu lean into her strengths and use that to deal with the linen problem. Hopefully, soon we'll see her become more confident.
Back to the Micro Dramas world, but considering trying out "Blossoms in Adversity".Also, awaiting the…
Blossoms in Adversity is one of my favorites... it might feel a bit slow at the beginning and the characters might annoy you but they ALL grow so it's quite satisfying. I personally think it's a better story.. and better storytelling than POJ. You'll also have to excuse the mediocre acting of Hu Yitian.
yah they didn’t need to give me all those scenes for me to understand that SML was possessive. I think just…
Also, I had lost interest in the events from 17 years ago because they would bring it up all the time but nothing significant about it happened throughout the whole drama. Then at the end they dumped all the info about what really happened. I wished they kept revealing things here and there like how they did at the beginning about FL's father.
IMO, the weakest part of this drama is the YQQ and QM storyline. I think a little less of them and more on developing other parts or characters of the story, especially ML's uncle, the princess, and the emperor. The mystery around YQQ's background wasn't really interesting at all, and they didn't do anything with it. What I didn't like about this drama is similar to what I didn't like about Blossom, so I have mixed feelings about this director—good cinematography, but the story lacks emotional impact, especially the ending. It tried, but I found myself feeling apathetic about it. I did enjoy most of the drama, and it was really entertaining. I laughed more than I expected. 8/10
watched ep 31 preview: ok, problem resolved!! can't wait to watch.
