I liked that fighting scene from episode 12 (it could have been more epic though) Also I'm not liking the fact…
I think he's only saved her once (ep 12), and that's after she prevented a deadly battle from happening. The only other time I recall him saving her was when she fell into the cave fighting the wolves but that was only him showing up to help pull her out so it doesn't make him seem stronger than her. I actually like that we get more FL fight scenes than ML.
The shorter and edited episodes are nice because there's hardly any side stories, and it's much more focused on our main leads, but I kinda like Cheng Li Su and Song Tao Tao and wouldn't mind if they had more scenes.
There's too much silliness, and I enjoyed it only because I skipped a lot. It took too long for them to talk and figure out what they want. I wished there were more scenes of them together as a couple.
Everyone is so dumb in this drama. Very predictable, so you can skip scenes and you won't miss anything. It was frustrating to watch the relationship get put on hold in the last ten episodes, and they don't even get together until the last 10 minutes of the drama. By then, I didn't even care anymore.
I rewatched this, and I want to say for future viewers that many people decided right away they didn't like the FL. They never gave her a chance and found fault in everything she does. Yes, her character annoys the ML, and that's part of their dynamic. She has her antics, but she is not yelling or throwing a tantrum every time she's on screen. She is invested in the cases and contributed helpful information that moves the investigation forward. I think her character and relationship with ML play a big part in ML's growth from a cowardly guy solving cases for selfish reasons to someone who cares more. Their relationship development is slow, but as you watch, you can see the ways they care for each other. There are even more annoying and poorly written FL characters in other shows, even some well-loved dramas. If you're thinking about watching this, then be open-minded and see if you hate her or love her after they solve a couple of cases.
I've watched up to episode 19, and I still don't know what to make of this one. It's not bad and it's not good. In these latest episodes, it seems like we don't get enough dialogue between the two leads anymore, so I can't feel the tension between them.
This drama has stagnated for me, which is sad because the premise was so exciting. The whole political stuff is…
Yea..i've been kinda bored and I'm not sucked in when I'm watching. The angst faded fast. The sister is alright for me.. she warmed up to the FL quickly so she's not frustrating.
Pretty good for a short-length drama. And because it is a short-length drama, it lacked some character and relationship development. Overall, it kept me interested.
I think I would've enjoyed this more if I hadn't seen the original Taiwanese version. This is a decent remake, but I liked that the Taiwanese one was a little bit darker.. as messy as that one was.
Ok, Hiroki was sentimental about the cherry blossom petals because he probably met her when they were little, and she gave him the petals he had saved all this time.
Is this very similar to the Korean version? I expected more from a Japanese version but the legal/prosecutor parts of this drama are a joke and it seems l like it's more about romance? It's a kdrama remake after all ... I've only watched two episodes but I had hoped they would be working cases together.
