6.0/10

I hate it when I'm disappointed. So of course once Fei Fei healed Tang Yi he'd know she was the constellation holder of Ophiuchus. Standard drama trope is that his hatred for the Ophiuchus would make him cast Fei Fei out. Despite all her kindness and the fact that she just saved his life. So by making her run off he causes her to be in danger and do exactly what he was afraid she would do as Ophiuchus. It didn't matter that she was drugged. I'm sorry, but this is uber betrayal. If she isn't pissed with him in the next season I'm a gonna be pissed! This guy just tossed her under the bus like she was nothing. I don't care if he's the Emperor. He's supposed to see past prejudice not get mucked up in it more! That said Wu Chen and Sheng Nan were totally awesome. Though were was the other constellation holder that has fire powers? I didn't see him clearly and why wouldn't he go cray-crazy using his powers. He was drugged longer!!!! Honestly I did not think it would END THIS WAY! I'm a bit nervous how things are going to proceed from here. Fei Fei needs to get angry, and I don't want her to pout and try to when Tang Yi back. She doesn't need to prove herself. Such a betrayal I always have a hard time getting over. He needs to work for her heart again, and I even think there should be a more worthy man to step up. Of course that won't happen because they are the LEAD COUPLE and with that comes total forgiveness from the female lead. *sighs* I did have to fast foward through the crappy fight scenes and even Tang Yi's dramatic flashback. Boring. Overall I hated that such a great drama took the easy and predicatble why. Hopefully since it has great realized female leads that Fei Fei gets her justice and some real time.

I knew she'd have to use her healing powers and out herself, but I still was not expecting that arrow to come out and strike a certain someone! Wow! This episode was almost an 8 for me, but I had to speed it up a lot to get to the good parts. The individual fights were funny, though a bit drug out. It was great how Mo Ran conceded! this episode is stuffed with brilliant character moments and interactions! I'm looking forward to the final episode in this season.

7.0/10 - *_* The romance!

Let me tell you if you would have said before I watched dramas that lunchboxes are romantic I would have thought you were crazy. Sheng Nan is the QUEEN! She just walks into Wu Chen's class asking if any of the kids were missing a box. Then she says it must be Wu Chen. Man the look he gives her! Those kids were right to give that standing ovation! Bravo! So not only is Sheng Nan and Wu Chen relationship out in the open and growing, but Tang Yi steps it up! He steals a kiss from Fei Fei! Normally an annoying trope, but when he confesses that he likes her it's just wonderful. Fei Fei runs away and I was totally worried, but then we get his lovely sequence of bonding time. Finally we get to see the pushup, but more awesome is the scene where Fei Fie is firing her finger gun! Tang Tang is right! Tang Yi is amazing to learn that trick to bond with Fei Fei! All the shots in the arrow scene are stunning and lovely! I ate it up! So I find it odd that Yu Ran thinks it's okay for Fei Fei to take her place in the upcoming fight. First of all why? Fei Fei has no battle skills and the only thing they're kind of aware of is that she can null out powers. That doesn't mean Fei Fie would be safe. I guess this is how Fei Fei's budding powers will be discovered. While i really don't care about the fight. This episode delivered on the romance and the happiness! Yeah! I also loved how Fei Fei so confidently stepped into to tell everyone how to fight because she was a gamer and had never lost! >_< Girl not the same thing!

6.0/10 - Wu Chen and Sheng Nan are my everything!

So totally random fun fact. At episode 15 I got so absorbed in Oh! My Emperor that I just kept writing each review in Notepad and then skipped posting them. (Normally I keep my notes and then at the end of each episode polish/write the review and post. Always before moving on to the next episode. ) So I did this up to episode 19. Somehow I started watching episode 18 and then got interrupted. I messed up my episode numbers and totally skipped 15 and put 15's review in as 16. So I had episode 17 in 18's spot. Which made me think I had then totally finished episode 18 and I moved on to 19 without a blink. Only finishing 18 almost half way, but since I had a review in there I thought I was done. So I've fixed all my reviews so they're in the right slot, and after finishing this entire drama I am now going back to finish watching episode 18 and review it! Sorry, I just had to share. When you're having fun drama episode truly bleed together. Because I totally jumped over Shang Yu getting stabbed! (But where he picks up in the next episode it seamlessly fits!) At least someone knows the whole truth, but what will happen to the fire constellation that is under the spell of the drink!!? Will his constellation be branded as evil?At least Fei Fei's misunderstanding is quickly addressed! Tang Yi is a smart man. Until he utterly insults her. Fool. He still hasn't learned the right way to romance a women! I really enjoyed the frank conversation Fei Fei had with Yu Ran about arranged marriages and who it affects! Leading Fei Fei into taking Yu Ran out for a ladies night on the town! To help Yu Ran in winning over Mo Ran's heart (though all this highness calling gets me confused!) she takes her to a brothel to learn. I loved it and it truly saved this episode considering the last bits after the brothel outing didn't even detract from the story. Because I couldn't even tell I had skipped anything! The brothel scene with Fei Fei and Yu Ran was brilliant! Made it totally worth it going back to this episode so I didn't miss it. Though I truly wanted to know what those women were whispering in Yu Ran's ear. Not to mention what happened after Fei Fei sat down with those male customers. The LADY of the brothel couldn't get those two out fast enough! Not to mention I think Fei Fei swallowed and choked down her vomit! Those two were hammered! The women friendships of this drama are EVERYTHING!

6.0/10 - Wu Chen and Sheng Nan are my everything!

This whole plot with the Ophiuchus people is really progressing. But it's never been fully addressed. From the birth early it seems like none royals are still born to a constellation. But no one ever talks about Leo people or Cancer people. Why are the Ophiuchus people so linked the the Ophiuchus Constellation holder? Hmmmmm. Why does Mo Ran seem to hate Ophiuchus so much? Is he just using them as a way to one up Tang Yi all the time? If so Mo Ran truly is losing face in my eyes. Tang Yi is growing up, while Mo Ran is being childish!Wu Chen is truly ready to step and love his Sheng Nan! I love that they fearlessly are open, but she doesn't have to tone it down when she's around the other men. Poor Yu Ran. I'll punch that selfish jerk Xun Xian for you. He clearly wants Mo Ran all to himself.Oh, and how great is it that Yu Ran decided that Fei Fei is truly her friend. She can trust Fei Fei. So even if Mo Ran likes Fei Fei, Yu Ran can trust that Fei Fei doesn't and won't steal him from her! Yeah. WOMEN FRIENDSHIPS RULE AND ARE REAL. Bless you drama! This whole plot with the people being drugged is interesting. Though the one constellation clearly isn't a Ophiuchus. Is it just people in general are going crazy and bad things are happening so everyone just blames Ophiuchus. Even if other signs are involved? I really wish things would be cleared up a bit more. Especially since Mo Ran is getting really execution happy! So Wu Chen and Sheng Nan are my everything! I love that at least one couple is doing it right. I want Yu Ran and Mo Ran to start being developing a relationship. Not to mention for the "misunderstanding" between Tang Yi and Fei Fei to clear up so the rest of the sweet things won't be tainted!

7.0/10 - Sheng Nan is fierce!

Sheng Nan is so fierce! At least once she makes up her mind she's all in. Sheng Nan and Wu Chen do make a great couple. I like that Wu Chen has toned down a bit from being such an oaf. Much more lovable and he's so sincere. It's wonderful as he pours his heart and soul out. Listening to sheng Nan's concerns that marriage and love just mean another man will order about. He listens understands that she is a woman who needs to have the power, or equally share it! (Oh, and that leaf heart was so cute!Just as I'm dying of happiness over Sheng Nan and Wu Chen's progress a stupid plot trope inturepts Fei Fei and Tang Yi. Apparently I misunderstood that evil woman who was bullying Fei Fei when she first came into the servants quarters. The woman want's Tang Yi for herself. So of course she tries to hit on him. When that doesn't work she then hugs him so that Fei Fei can see and misunderstand. Of course Fei Fei doesn't stay long enough to see Tang Yi rebuff her and so on. I mean good grief! We're in this current problem with Yu Ran because of a leaving too early crap. *sighs* The writers like this trope a bit too much.Though I did love the whole search bit. Not only did it give a hilarious moment with Tang Yi and Mo Ran holding hands, but the plot thickens. Apparently there's a reason why the Ophiuchus people are going crazy. There's a bigger plot going. Not to mention that I'm wondering if these men in black are truly Ophiuchus or represent the people right if they are. Ophiuchus people are supposed to have a rep at the table. Which Mo Ran childishly got rid of the chair to one up Tang Yi. The plot does indeed thicken!

6.0/10 - All kinds of adorableness!

This episode was full of all kinds of adorableness and laughs. Tang Yi is falling for Fei Fei. He's trying to romance, but can't do it the "normal way". So he's doing it his way! I love Fei Fei's response to him. It makes it feel more real. He is a jerk and she gets that. She calls him out on certain actions, but they're learning together. I also really loved how Fei Fei tricked Tang Yi into doing her chores. Not to mention ending with a tender moment. After all Fei Fei falling on his shoulder to sleep could still spell "kill" or beheading. Which he actually said instead of "fluttering heart!" Ha-ha! Watch out Fei Fei!

7.0/10

Yu Ran and Tang Tang's plan for romance was super silly! Who knew it would work though!! Ha-ha! Yes it was full of laughs, but it was also super sweet. While introducing Tang Yi to Ophiuchus who are good and nice. Points for both leads! As Fei Fie fakes a sprained ankle so that Tang Yi has to carry her! Bonding ensues! Really I think this drama is finding it's footing well. Though I'm wondering how much of season 1 is going to be wrapped up? This is episode 13 and there's only 21 before season 2. Hmmmmmmm. At least I'm really starting to see the romance and chemistry between Fei Fei and Tang Yi!! Finally! I liked seeing Tang Yi smiling and joking with Fei Fei on their walk. We didn't get to hear him laugh though as the romantic music was going. I feel cheated!

6.0/10 - Character building.

Ask and you shall receive. At least this time. This episode is very much on finally getting Tang Yi and Fei Fei together. Because right now I don't like Tang Yi. It's who I am. Cold and rude male leads, the Jerk, are not my type. Most importantly Tang Yi's unwilling bride, Yu Ran, is established more. I new that was her peeping in on Mo Ran. So I'm wondering if she like Mo Ran or is just trying to live vicariously with all her choices taken away? I like her! Either way! I also love that Yu Ran is all for Fei Fei and Tang Yi getting together! While this might seem like a slow episode I really appreciate the time given to finally invest in the characters.

5.0/10 - Yeah, no.

Huh, so Mo Ran doesn't believe Fei Fei about the spy bathing, when someone has the skills to do it. Yet it's more odd that he is already use to Fei Fei being around. She hasn't been around that long. There's been no established timeline, but I'm pretty sure it's barely been days. Though her injuries are all gone, but I doubt Tang Yi took that long to decide to move her in.*sighs* So everyone is trying to tell Tang Yi that he's not romancing right. His reason is she's not lady like. So his plan is to make her a worker. Where she's bullied and mistreated. However, his plan is not to teach her manners. It's to break her. He wants her spirit broken. The pale of stinky water was correct. Though if I was Fei Fei I"d get even. Put the swept up garbage in their beds and dump the pales on them. Be your own army. Or get the heck out of their and figure out how to get home.

7.0/10 - I bumped the rating up just for that whole prison scene!

I feel for Fei Fei she just saved them and they're locking her up again. The exhaustion as she slips on the cuff saying she's back, not knowing what for to the guards. Then slips out off the cuff at the smell of food and the guards invite her to eat is sheer brilliance!! The guards welcoming her home! The tragic thing is none of the 3 men knew it!! People are so use to moody Tang Yi that one look can get a person dragged to jail. Oh, my gosh then they hit viewers with the carousel scene!! I agree girl! That Tang Yi wants to either imprison you or take your head!! He's way too brash. Not to mention I like that Fei Fei questions his motives! Finally! Not from Fei Fei in general, but for female leads in general! Overall I'm still super confused about the whole Ophiuchus constellation thing! Is it something I'm missing as I don't know Chinese lore? Or is it just the show? Ah, just googled. The whole Snake and the Man make sense now! As the Ophiuchus constellation is known in modern Chinese as "the snake man constellation". It also explains all these tortoise scenes. So it is something important to Chinese culture I didn't know. I wonder how widely known it is? Hmmmmm. I'm still confused what it means for Fie Fie though. It's also good to know how and why Bei Tang Mo Ran saw Fei Fei in his mind when he saw her. He sees glimpses into the future. So it wasn't like a weird paste life or something. At least viewers are getting answers!!

6.0/10 - The humor is finally starting to feel more natural!

Well Sheng Nan roared a the killing strike and then danced on his grave! Intense! Poor loser! I mean poor Wu Chen!Only medical staff?????? She was a surgical residence!! Unless my translation was incorrect. She saw patients and treated them for things that needed stitches, well she just put a bandaid on, but still ! I'm so flustered I just butchered grammar over in that last sentence! Ha-ha, no one is even surprised to see Fei Fei bursting out of the water! I think the guy feeding the fish was just annoyed she spat water on him. I love how she just turns around and swims out. Then sees her noble donkey! The noises she makes to try and communicate with him are perfect. She's trying to speak donkey so bad. See this feels like more natural humor! So Fei Fei gets to save all the royals! Ha-ha!! Though who let out the word of the secret meeting? Hmmmm! There's a spy or traitor! The fight dragged out, but I enjoy the play for Fei Fei from both Tang Yi and Bei Tang Mo Ran! Very interesting love triangle. I like that Tang Tang is still just a friend. Thank you! But it seems that the drama is going with a love triangle, so I'm nervous it will go to a square at some point. Especially with all three men listed as male leads. I mean that doesn't guarantee it, but it does make me nervous.

Fei Fei was in surgery training, or whatever. She was training to be a doctor right?! The only thing she talks about is looks and skin care. Why isn't it being brought up. Not to mention that she got robbed so fast! All those bangles. UNCLE seems to be quite amused by her. I like the lead, but I don't like that they have to make her clueless and dumb. It just seems so off. Why make the choice to have her be a doctor if they're not going to do something extra. The plot for her to save Bei Tang Mo Ran is pretty cool though. I hope they can have her be awesome without always sacrificing her for the comedy. There are other ways to get a life, and other characters to belittle! Not to mention poor loser— Wu Chen—and Sheng Nan (Leo). I do actually feel bad for him. Leo is giving out a killing blow.

5.0/10 - Tripping women is gonna be a trope apparently.

So Fei Fei doesn't even fall on him. Tang Yi just let's her tumble and then threatens to arrest her again! Though she did really get carried away. How was he to know that she thought he was another man, and it certainly seemed like an offer of sex. Just saying. That said I love how fast she flipped to Bei Tang Mo Ran for protection. Who suddenly decides to help her again despite Fei Fei working against him. Ha-ha! I just can't believe that the fire trio would have forgotten and partied the day away! Ha-ha!! Not to mention that Bei Tang Mo Ran is totally with the fan guy right? So confusing!! But I see Fei Fei hugging him in the opening and ending credits. Hmmmmm. Maybe the fan guy wants him and everyone just assumes they are an item? Or—squee—a bi character? I'm all for product placement since that means the shows are longer since there are no ads. I just had heavy handed and obvious ones! I mean the whole ending about those masks!!!

5.0/10 - Loved the brothel scene.

Girl! Of course they're all having dirty thoughts! Not to mention she hasn't really explained it. Poor Tang Yi. He gets up the courage to go to Fei Fei only for her to realize that he's truly not Jia Cheng. I now assume she believes she's time traveled. Her search for work begins as she needs to survive. Which of course is hilarious! AND OF COURSE she ends up in a house of ill repute! I pray her tazer never loses power! I'm very interested now in what Ophiuchus or whatever these other people are. I found the whole scene interesting. Apparently this drama is gonna rely heavily on women tripping/spin tripping. While annoying it's amusing seeing all the different ways they do it. Now to the next episode to see if Tang Yi is gonna have her thrown in jail for tripping into him. Or better yet make more beheading claims! Also, why has everyone suddenly lost interest in her?
