I assume the whole display was an act! To make Lee Hyunk want Sunny more and to end the whole thing about Woo Bin seducing Sunny.Ugh! I hate that the Empress Dowager used Princess Ari like that! I'm enraged!!! Ugh!! Lee Hyuk needs to feel the rage that his mother put his child at risk. Not to mention he found out she drove him to kill his beloved wife and HIS unborn child. This feels a bit off. I feel like despite the show of him taking the first Empress's urn and screaming it seems off. Feels like another temporary fall from mom and he'll go running back. I like the tie that Yu Ra saw fit to help out the old captain of the guard. That's a cool twist! Sunny really is working it. It's nice that Lee Hyuk is falling for Sunny's natural love and affection for Princess Ari. Princess Ari who is one heck of a player in this game! But Sunny is adding in all the other things he needs to hear well done.

5.0/10 - The pacing is starting to feel off.

Princess Soo Jin is pretty incredible. Despite questioning what was happening between Sunny and Woo Bin she was there to save Woo Bin. Despite everything Princess Soo Jin has become . . . more lovable. She's spoiled, but a good person. I'm very hopeful that at the very least Woo Bin will help her and save her from her family. That said all of these fools! Lee Yoon gave his plan away so, duh, the doctor gets killed. Then the secret garden room is exposed! I'm pretty sure Sunny should have been worried before going down! At least Baek Ho was savvy enough to be worried and saved them. Despite Sunny wanting to protect Woo Bin/Wang Shik she almost ruined their first go. Just when you think Lee Hyuk might be saveable he says something like "What's the big deal about killing his mom?" His break down was hard to watch. Woo Bin's smile at knowing he's really gotten to him priceless. But will someone take Lee Hyuk gun away. I'm a bit worried about the pacing. It's super slow and flashbacks are shown that we JUST saw. Not just quickies, long ones! The ending confession from Woo Bin and his use of his brotherly wish were quite fascinating. The old captain of the guard being alive and well is super annoying.

Wow, we're seeing a completely different side to Lee Hyuk. Sunny's mother's death must have really affected him. The whole part where he was wondering about going to see Sunny was really cute. Though cut short by the reatliy of what happened. He even let her father punch him. It would be nice if Sunny's family could truly help. Though the garbage spreading was really funny. Ah, Sunny's flashback. Romance is really in the air!!!Now onto Lee Hyuk's change. Seeing the whole past with the bird bursting into flame made me think he really was going to do things differently. I think by staying quiet and believing his mom is foolish. That hasn't worked for him in the past. Why does everyone give their plans away so that someone else can one up them? Prince Yoon should know better! Not to mention spinning Princess Ari's punishment like that was tiring. Smart, but tiring. Lee Hyuk is still yielding to his mother, but this hurts Sunny. I guess it's just the deal to let his mother abuse her, but not kill her. Yeah, I don't trust that.

Well the Crown Prince was super dramatic. I think it was important for Lee Hyuk to find out. I actually think he feels guilty about it. I have to give it the writers. Lee Hyuk is a damaged soul thanks to his parents. They did everything they could to turn him into a cruel person. The abuse both mentally and physically. Not to mention the emotion trauma. Lee Hyuk actually caring about Sunny and feeling bad for what happened to her mother is a good sign. Though I fear he will always fall down. Sunny and Woo Bin's, no Wang Shink's, chemistry has been building and has definitely hit an all time high! Wowza. This was a great episode. Though the assassination attempt seems even messier and stupid than before! It's a drama, I shouldn't but too much stalk in it I know!Lee Hyuk I think realized that Woo Bin might truly care for Sunny. The look. Lee Hyuk is now back to where he was with his first Empress. Except this time the feelings between his wife and bodyguard are real.

Sunny literally booted Lee Hyuk out of her room! Of course Lee Hyuk liked it! Now he finds her compelling as she's no longer a fan girl and she's seen the real him. Not to mention he sees her as a challenge. Phew, I'm really glad he didn't force her. Who knows what Lee Hyuk is capable of. All this makes me keep wondering about what Grand Empress Dowager said about Sunny being really good at martial arts. Was it just a fluke and someone told the writer she couldn't have a fighting lead? Or are they saving it for later? I mean why hasn't Sunny used those skills? Why did they have Grand Empress Dowager say that if it wasn't real? I mean Sunny high kicked and everything spurring Grand Empress Dowager to say it! So I didn't want to bring it up my last episode review, but these connections are getting out of control. It is a family drama. I do keep forgetting that. So that motorcycle accident Lee Hyuk was in caused Sunny's mothers death since he stole her blood as they both had a rare blood type.Nanny Seo Kang Hee is still not going down with out a fight. She's actually turned out to be the best contender. She knows when to push and not. Holy cow! Lee Yoon and Hel Ro are so cute! Hel Ro is really make him sweat! I love that Hel Ro's dad wants to save Lee Yoon from her!! Ha-ha! Sunny and Chun Woo Bin are totally romancing each other! It's so sweet and a bit funny. Because Chun Woo Bin wants Lee Hyuk to desire Sunny again. Sunny's refusal and rejection of Lee Hyuk makes him want her more. Lee Hyuk still wants Chun Woo Bin to seduce Sunny, but becomes enraged that it's "working". I give the writer plots for weaving all these stories and scandals together. Even if I don't like the usual family drama tie ins, I like the other tie ins! The biggest mystery is coming. What is this island. Wait!! Su Ra and the guard were a item!! OOooooooooo. Waht it said Min Yu! Is that who got her pregnant? "I may be stupid, but I'm not a bad person." -Princess Soo Jin

*something went wrong and somehow my reviews for 27 and 28 ended up being combined and together. So this is just a lump review of the two.* Sunny's care of Princess Ari is sweet. Someone needs to teach her compassion and understanding before they have another monster in the royal line. It was interesting that Lee Hyuk didn't by a word of Nanny Kang Hee's lies. I wonder why he kissed her? To see why he'd betray his first wife with Kang Hee? Lee Hyuk jumping on Sunny's bad and trying to save her was very interesting and kind of cute. What an actor! I find all these flashback about what everyone was doing during or to Grand Empress Dowager boring. Once set of false and then the truth would make more sense. It's just getting out of control now. Not to mention tiring. Hel Ro is one smooth operator. She doesn't know he's the Crown Prince yet, so at least Lee Yoon should know she really likes him. Okay. WTF!!! Why wouldn't Chun Woo Bin have been super careful? He gave Yu Ra her freedom, I don't think she broke out, and of course she's gonna go to where she told him the body was. I just can't believe he wouldn't have kept his mask on. Or sent someone else if he knew he couldn't do it. If Yu Ra was smart she'd have recorded the whole thing. Though I wonder if she's decided to use Woo Bin to get revenge on Lee Hyuk? Or she's gonna try and get them both. It was interesting seeing her tell Woo Bin that "Wang Shik" would get Lee Hyuk. Was it all an act? That said Lee Hyuk just suddenly being in Sunny's chamber was hella creepy! I hope he's not gonna force himself on her!Now I have to be a bit annoyed, more than annoyed, about the fact that one was protecting the maid who was witness and could clear Sunny! Sunny has a the help of a secret organization. After she was already held captive why wouldn't they be protecting her? WHY!?

Chun Woo Bin is a master at making cave to his will. First making Yu Ra his pawn and then to actually strangle Lee Hyuk. Making both of them believe that Na Wang Shik is alive again. I mean, duh, he is. But that's an interesting move. Now Empress Dowager is on the ropes! But everyone has back up plans. Empress Dowager's move to have Sunny's father be enraged by her living situation was a bit silly. She doesn't get resilience or strength. The human condition. Chun Woo Bin is still really playing Princess Soo Jin. Though I think he might really mean it when he tells her not to trust Empress Dowager. Chun Woo Bin's plan to get Lee Hyuk is working. Lee Hyuk is a loser. Phew.

I was right! Woo Bin wants the Lee Hyunk to want Sunny! I love her reaction to the idea! Hard pass. Which I'm sure Woo Bin likes. Overall their reactions together are great. Their both like I don't care about you. We're keeping it non-personal, but then they're worried about each other. Yep. Yu Ra didn't die. I hate it when shows don't have enough guts to kill off leads. I guess Woo Bin really does need to know what happened to his mother's body. Not to mention he might want to make her suffer more. I do see Princess Soo Jin really working everyone over. Almost as good as good as woo Bin. Maybe Princess Soo Jin will pull a huge surprise on everyone before this drama is over.It's impressive that Nanny Seo Kang Hee took that drug just like that to make her self sterile. She's prepared to die for this goal. She ain't playing. Princess Ari is so sweet, it's a ll a bit sad that all of this is happening around her.

Yu Ra is super worried. Though I'm confused why Lee Hyuk didn't just say he went drinking. Her temper is gonna get the best of her. Also, the surgery is just off like that!!? The killer face off between Yu Ra and Woo Bin was pretty epic, and kind of worth it. To see him threaten her, he won by the way. That bullet should have been attended to no matter what. It's a weakness that could get him killed!Um. Wow. If Yu Ra isn't saved or made it out magically at after this I give them mad props! That was amazing. Though why was it so important that Woo bin ignore Lee Hyuk's calls? That Lee Hyuk see Woo Bin and Sunny hug? Hmmmmmmm? Make Lee Hyunk want Sunny? Now the most important thing! Lee Yoon and Hel Ro!!! First it started off as a stupid accidental kiss. Then boom! Hel Ro is all I like this and I"m gonna get a real kiss! Romance!

That was so cool how that doctor was "on call" and got that code. How do these people know they can trust Sunny? Was it out in a secret organization meeting? Either way: cool! And I'm glad something is going to be done about that bullet. Not to mention that Sunny has people to help her now! So we now know the truth. Empress Dowager was jealous of the first Empress's marriage with Lee Hyuk. So she worked on her son's weaknesses and made him believe that the first Empress was having an affair with a bodyguard. I assume that bodyguard ended up dead too? So So Hyun, the first Empress, was disgusted how easily Lee Hyuk turned from her and was willing to buy such lies. They fought. He ended up choking her. Then causing her to fall into the pond left her there to drown with their unborn baby. So chilling. Lee Hyuk is so shocked by that skirt in the pond he just comes running straight to Nanny Seo Kang Hee. I bet she planted it because it's the anniversary of So Hyun's murder. She's playing Lee Hyuk like the silly little boy he is. So Hyun was right about him being a loser. There's a lot of movements going on here. Yu Ra trying to be rid of her son and the last of her past. Byun Baek Ho moving in with Sunny's family with Yu Ra's son. The Empress Dowager doesn't suspect a thing since she ordered Chun Woo Bin to win Sunny over. Lee Yoon is making his own plays now! The biggest shock is that Empress Dowager is all right with Nanny Seo Kang Hee having Lee Hyuk spend the night. It does make sense. Empress Dowager wants her sons full loyalty and anything to keep him away from Yu Ra.

Ugh!! I greatly dislike that Byun Baek Ho and Sunny's father have a past. Oh, well. At least their greeting was fun to watch. Looks like despite all the plots that have been falling threw Chun Woo Bin ticking bullet is still an issue. Which sucks as Lee Hyuk has totally fallen for Chun Woo Bin! He's so enamored by him! It's kind of sweet. He wants to call him brother and he's so enraged by his exes betrayal of him. Yu Ra of course can't leave anyone who might be close to Lee Hyuk alone. I wonder if the pills are really that damning? They can's exactly just be for gun shot wounds to the head. He did say he had a head injury from falling on a rock. Sunny's morning show is smart. Using her actress skills and natural charms to win over the people and media. Her sister gets it. If she doesn't make one everyday people will talk. It's life insurance. I mean she's sleeping in the tub with a bat! Saying it's how she's gonna make a living after Empress Dowager cut her off financially is super smart as well. Vincent Lee. The crown prince is starting to help out. I really like the idea of the crown prince and Sunny's sister hitting it off. Imagine if he becomes the Emperor and she the new Empress! Amazing! I hope this means those two will now join the main plot. Oh, my gosh! The bite mark. There is no way it was still there after all that time she did not bite him hard enough! Then he gets hit in the head with that brick! I'm pretty sure you can't get an MRI with a bullet in your head. Death! Gain magnet. To the google. Yep. It's dangerous and could kill you. Depends on if it's steel, the type of MRI machine, and how deep the bullet is. So that's a huge error. Oh, well. I'm so glad Sunny officially, offiically, knows everything! Yeah! Now these two can team up!

Holy dramas! Did Lee Hyuk just ask who Sunny thought tarnished his reputation. Not to mention that he said, "I didn't think she'd go this far!" Um. You literally tried to kill her TWICE! *shakes head* I love the conversation between Lee Hyuk and Chun Woo Bin after Lee Hyuk and Empress Dowager decided that Chun Woo Bin should seduce Sunny: "It'll be easier to follow your order to kill her than seduce her." -Chun Woo Bin
"It's not that hard. If you're nice to her, you'll win her over in no time." -Lee Hyuk
"Your Magesty, it won't matter to you even if I end up falling for her . . . while trying to seduce her?" -Chun Woo Bin

From how she's been lucky to survive and seeing him swap those papers. I do feel a bit bad for Chun Woo Bin. He's already actively seducing Princess Soo Jin. Poor fella! Nanny Seo Kang Hee is really working this to her advantage. Princess Ari is super smart. There's no doubt to me she understands who her real mother is. Nanny Seo Kang Hee made her move. Hope she made copies of those documents for future use before just handing them over to the Empress Dowager. Yep. I knew it. Princess Ari is hella smart. Oh, no! Ms. Hong!!! Wow, but she's helping the Grand Empress Dowager flip them off now! You go girl. I was just hoping better proof for Sunny would get everyone innocent clear of the crime. Not to mention when I was so happy to see Sunny's family save her, they all get nabbed! Sunny doesn't just stay down when she's knocked out. Ms. Oh was the last straw of injustice. I find it very satisfying to trap Lee Hyuk the very way he trapped her! Go Sunny! Also, the Empress Dowager and Yu Ra do make a great team.

Phew. Thank goodness they escaped. Boo on the director for easing us like that! Then the captian of the guard really caught him. Why would Lee Hyuk be so loyal to Chun Woo Bin? He's suspicious of everyone. The best part about this episode is we get to see the people working against the royal family. Not to mention Sunny gets the whole truth. I hope she finally gets the upper hand and clears her name. Also, we're really getting deep dive into the evil and madeness that is Lee Hyuk. So mad me procuces that gosh awful laugh! I think he's going for Joker, but it's not working. Chun Woo Bin enjoyed hitting him, until he realized "this dude be cray!"

Wow, poor Princess Soo Jin. She's horrible, but boy oh boy is she get pooped on. First she's removed from the job she wanted. Then her "daughter" is walking all over her now that she knows the truth. Though in Ari's defense Princess Soo Jin treats her like crap. No love lost. Though the worry when that book actually hit Ari gives me hope. So I need to bring up the irony that both Yu Ra and Lee Hyuk both have illegitimate kids? Both don't give a crap about that child. So why is Yu Ra so shocked. She says it's just because he didn't trust her, but she doesn't trust him. They are made for each other. The Prime Minister is gonna get Grand Empress Dowagers woman killed. First he's late. Then tell Grand Empress that Ms. Hong is waiting with the file! I burned with rage when Sunny's family couldn't grab the documents! Then to find out that Seo Kang Hee, Nanny, orchestrated the whole thing!!! YES! So Lee Hyuk did stab Grand Empress Dowager, but that wouldn't have been enough to kill her. The poison was lethal. The lethal kill down by Yu Ra. They're both so un-trusting they tried to be innocent to each other. But they're exactly a like. What did Empress Dowager do as well? I think they all tried to off her but Sunny. Finally Sunny brings up that Lee Hyuk decieved her. HOw about that she turned him down! Then he still went after her. What a power show! All three baddies workign together. It's a lethal combo. AT least Sunny has allies! Thank goodness. Going back to the palace was a huge risk. Why wouldn't Byun Baek Ho have just had Chun Woo Bin pick up the device? The ending makes it seem like everyone clearly saw Chun Woo Bin. Despite that isn't there a huge glaring plot whole here. Firs they found poison in the tea Yu Ra left. After she lied about going. Yet all of a sudden another poison pops up on the food Sunny sent in. They've got the police in their pockets. That better be what it is.FIGHTING SUNNY!
