It's so creepy I don't know if Lee Hyuk did or didn't do it. Sunny thinks he did. After that chase and beating . . . I agree. It's gonna be a shock if he didn't. I'm just annoyed it's gonna go down the path of Sunny being framed. She still hasn't even gotten to clear her good name of that affair gossip! Not to mention when are we gonna see her martial arts skills? Like protecting her self from Chun Woo Bin? I mean she's gotten physical with Yu Ra now! Holy cow! They should have left Grand Empress Dowager alive! But I get it she would never stand for all this so she had to go. But I am so proud of her! One of the few smart drama people to make sure to have a back up encase they are killed! Go Grand Empress Dowager! I like that Chun Woo Bin and the old man are working together completely now. We didn't get to see the big reveals and team up with them. So now it's nice to know they are helping one another. Also Chun Woo Bin is deciding on how he want his revenge. Thank goodness! I was so relieved when he said he'd protect Sunny. I honestly thought maybe he'd totally flipped out. Apparently Lee Hyuk flipped out! Yikes. Yu Ru really gets to see his kill all side. She didn't look to worried or surprised he pulled a gun on her. After all it wasn't to long ago he asked for her to be murdered. When is Yu Ra gonna flip on him? Not to mention Lee Yoon popping up like that! He's gotta know he needs to tread lightly. His brother loathes him and would kill him. But he loved Grand Empress Dowager so much. But to then talk to the old man, Byun Baek Ho the late Empress's father, right outside the palace. Byun Baek Ho should no better at least.

Sunny means business! She's digging up everything. Empress Dowager better look out because everyone is either jumping from team Empress Dowager or gunning for her. Though I didn't expect Ari's nanny to try and get support from Sunny so fast. Her end goal was protection under Grand Empress Dowager, but still. Back to Sunny who is moving super fast! Maybe she can save herself from scandal! FIGHTING! Though first rule of spying or surveillance: never have a light on your device!!!!!! To make up for that I love that Sunny notices Chun Woo Bin was the one who swapped damning papers on the Empress Dowager. Which in turn Chun Woo Bin takes to Empress Dowager to win her over. Not only did he win Empress Dowager over, Chun Woo Bin trying to seduce Princess Soo Jin! She is a man eater so that works well for him. (I'd eat Chun Woo Bin up too!) Though I'm not sure what he could use Princess Soo Jin for. I wonder if this is just to make Princess Soo Jin like Chun Woo Bin just in case. Cause, yep, he's seducing her. After that whole bit scene there's no denying it.I need full confirmation if the old man told Chun Woo Bin about his daughter? How much are they in for together taking out the royal family? Talk about playing games! I thought the Grand Empress Dowager really wasn't going to turn Lee Hyuk in. Phew, but she might be in danger now! At least it's revealed that the old man not only was the first Empress's father, but the chief guard. Then it happened. Faster than I thought. The only good royal being murdered. Like Sunny would ever do it! With the little Prince's return!

Holy dominoes!!! Chun Woo Bin killed Sunny! Or he made it look like it and had his buddy old man will save her. Because we all know Sunny can not swim! Plus that's frozen winter water! Either way he didn't know if she'd survive the fall. Chun Woo Bin is not messing around. Bring hellfire Sunny. Bring hellfire. Oh, and was she. There's no way she was just gonna runaway and let the injustices stand. Though just as she's getting smart, taking pictures of Lee Hyuk and Yu Ra's infidelity, Chun Woo Bin. First she didn't have an auto upload save. Secondly when did she then later on get a phone? Sunny needs to figure out how to clear her name and let everyone know she was almost murdered. Oh, yikes! The Emperor has shed his mask. Yu Ra should be a little worried. More than. My biggest question is Grand Empress Dowager going to do now? She knows her grandson is a monster. Not to mention how much more involved is the old man gonna get. We now know he was the father of the first Empress and I need to know how much of a team up Chun Woo Bin and him are in for now.

Oh, I thought I had heard wrong before that Princess Ari was the maid's child. Wow! Lee Hyuk is just a busy pollinator! >_< So now Lee Hyuk shouldn't just fear Prince Yoon, but his daughter. Which I totally agree with: girls should be able to rule! Kang Hee (Ah Ri's Nanny) is clearly scheming. Scheming enough that Empress Dowager never even expected it. Though Kang Hee may have tipped her hand now. I like that she, Kang Hee, is working with the Prime Minister! Speaking of Empress Dowager. Sunny really made some power moves. Just that one sentence from the Empress Dowager and she used her secret weapon! The Grand Empress Dowager! Granny is gonna help Sunny no matter what. It's so tough as I now love both my girls! My sweet and innocent Sunny! My evil and awesome Yu Ra! Then all of a sudden out of no where Chun Woo Bin makes a true power move. Don't worry Sunny! We were all deceived. Who knew Chun Woo Bin was working Lee Hyuk by destroying you! The setup was amazing! I didn't see it at all until Sunny was walking right into it! Let's hope Sunny can come up with a plan to get out of this. Especially since she's not the guilty party. I hate it when a villain frames the innocent party for the very crime they're committing. Not to mention I'm wondering how far Chun Woo Bin is going to go helping the Emperor so that he can get his revenge. Not to mention how many extended scene flashbacks are we gonna get? Though they are powerful.As a total random observation Empress Dowager looks so cute in her glasses when she's gardening.

6.0/10 - Sunny was such a boss this episode!

I didn't mention last review. But that tear drop breaking Sunny's bracelet was intense! It seems so silly and way fake-over-the-top. It hit hard though. Sunny's response at everything hit home. Of course what are the chances there's a jumper there and only Sunny notices. Not to mention that the jumper did it because her husband was having an affiar. It did however setup a great in to probably one of the best scenes. Before I get into that scene it is quite true that Lee Hyuk and Sunny do make a beautiful and charming couple. If Lee Hyuk was really sincere that is. Sunny is an actress after all. She's got her own gifts and just PRed the crap out of that interview. Sunny isn't going down with out a fight. They may have got married fast, but she's in love. Applauds for making Lee Hyuk and Yu Ra eat with her! She gave them her opinion. It was amazing! The best scenes and dialogue yet. Though I felt that knife go in when Lee Hyuk just let Yu Ra take his hand behind her back. AFTER EVERYTHING SHE JUST SAID!!!!!To contrast Sunny's suffering the whole Vincent Lee thing is really turning out priceless. It gives Sunny's sister a plot line and something to do. The actress playing Sunny's sister, Oh Hel Ro, is amazing. She's got acting chops and despite not giving enough time to shine or be defined as a character she's doing a great job. We know she's frugal and blunt, and takes no nonsense. She cares deeply for Sunny despite what she says most of the time. We can see it on her face and her body. Though I feel like their just wasting her. It's over the top—true—but I laugh! So it's A-Okay. Bodyguard romance is at an all time high, and it's swooning time! Points for that. Apparently Lee Hyuk must be very threatened by his Brother, Prince Yoon. I like the idea that Lee is the Crown Prince Yoon. A great contrast to Lee Hyuk.

That product placement! I love it when it feels like part of the show. I give them props for that. Now to the good stuff. The development to Sunny has been such a blessing! No one wants a silly fan girl who knows nothing as a lead. She's getting smarter. Smarter means figuring out the Yu Ra may not be a friend, but an enemy. Yes! Thank goodness the writer wants this to happen! I honestly thought we'd be half way through the show before Sunny started getting clued in. Also, can I also jump for joy that Sunny apparently is really good at martial arts!! I want to see that soon!! Super soon! PLEASE!!!!!!!!! Actually how cool would it be to see Sunny and Lee Hyuk face off. >_<Chun Woo Bin got outed fast, but this show is ready to kill! Yeah! Kill! Ma Pil Joo has proven to be a smart man. That's why he's so important to Lee Hyuk and has stayed alive this long. Chun Woo Bin should not be taunting Yu Ra, but I'm sure his renewed grief is leading him off the deep end. The car chase was very satisfying if a bit dragged out. Chun Woo Bin got smart using the body on hand to make "Na Wang Shik" look dead. Though I can't believe he let himself bleed all over. Plus,he needed to see Yu Ra's smile. So I guess I should talk about this other male kid of Empress Dowager. So no one knows his face. Is he illegitimate. Or does he just hate his family? He's a famous author who likes to be anonymous and is working at Sunny's chicken place. He clearly knows who they are. What's going on?That ending! First Sunny just bossed up and said, "Who am I!" Boom! Has Chun Woo Bin take her where she needs to be to see the truth. I am so happy Sunny found out the WHOLE truth between Lee Hyuk and Yu Ra. Well she doesn't know how long this affair has been going on. That's okay cause when Chun Woo Bin looks at Sunny! Their eyes meeting in understanding the fire of vengeance burns! Sunny might not be there yet, but if things keep unfolding like this she will be.

Ooooo, I can't believe Yu Ra didn't spin it. Yu Ra just came out like that. She outed herself to big ally. Maybe she thought the Grand Empress Dowager would just want her son to be happy. Or that it doesn't matter. I don't know. It's just so clear that Grand Empress Dowager is not playing. She adores Sunny! So I"m wondering how long she can keep the secret from Sunny. At least Grand Empress Dowager decided to talk to Empress Dowager. At least the Empress Dowager is maybe trying to help Sunny, not a great job. I feel like Yu Ra isn't making smart choices. Oh, by the end of this episode she's "winning" true.That's the whole goal of this drama. No one is making totally smart choices so they're always caught and on the ropes. Sunny has to be putting things together soon. At the very least Grand Empress Dowager will tell her. Or maybe she won't? She loves her grandson and he's blood. Sunny knowing will not be something that Grand Empress Dowager would want to inflict upon her. Though no on likes feeling like a fool. So now I'm starting to wonder if the body dug up in the first episode might actually be the first Empress. That the necklace on her was the original and Sunny has a fake/duplicate? Hmmmmmmm. So curious. It's one of many possibilities which would mean both Sunny and Yu Ra make it out alive. Because my next choice is that it's Yu Ra. Whether she marries or her body is used as decoy. Bodyguard romances. He's definitely working the cold gallantry stuff. I'm wondering if it's part of his plan, or if by spying he realizes that Sunny is a victim as well. Is Chun Woo Bin above using innocents for his plans? So now we're seeing Princess Soo Jin even more clearly! She's crazy! I was just pondering how Princess Soo Jin could have such an amazing daughter. Little Princess Ari is so amazing. Her treatment is so cruel. Then to find out that she's the Emperor's kid!! Wait! With the nanny? Or whom!!!??? Man Lee Hyuk is a busy man.

6.0/10 - Everyone is gonna get caught!!

Chun Woo Bin is just being too reckless!! It can't just be me thinking that! Isn't someone going to see him picking things up constantly to bludgeon people? Randomly drawing his gun in rage, or other stupid things he's done when his emotions get carried away and he's ready to kill! Not to mention that he actually was ready to live his little brother. Yes, his emotions have hit a critical point. The flashback was intense, but it also shows that Yu Ra doesn't giving one flying pickle about her son. She probably would have dumpster dropped the kid right after she walked out of the hospital. She used her mom and Chun Woo Bin's love to keep her kid out of her hair. When he didn't go back after just walking away for a bit I was freaked! Then it's night and raining and he still has to be lectured by the old man! How cruel! *sighs* His little bro had faith. But I'd be a bit shy of big bro from then on. Wow, Yu Ra may have got caught by the Grand Empress Dowager (feel like I mixed that title up), but boy did she get Sunny in trouble. Yikes! I knew she was just waiting to lead Sunny into the deep end with Lee Hyuk. It was good to see the flashbacks of the first Empress. That Lee Hyuk actually loved her. He was sweet and happy with his first Empress. I've been waiting for more body guard training and the other guys! Not to mention fencing . . . or whatever they call it the name has slipped my mind. Oops. The idea of Lee Hyuk and Chun Woo Bin finally getting a chance to battle it out has been a dangling apple in front of me. (Well not an apple. Dark chocolate.) The intensity and whole mood was killed though! It just jumbled up the fight scene with that over the top artwork. I mean even making Lee Hyuk do that tongue thing. I find it so weird how tongues snacking out for villains is evil. I mean in a fight he could bite that thing off! They should have just relied on the actors. They're good!! Oh, speaking of bodyguards. The bodyguard magic was on display. Chun Woo Bin is being all cool and suave at the same time. If him and Sunny don't end up in a romance the writers are fools! You never waste a good bodyguard romance. Especially one so forbidden. First she's married, the Empress, his enemy's wife despite the affair, and so on. It's extra forbidden!

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! So who would have guessed after that whole massage stupidity that Lee Hyuk would go to Sunny. Now the biggest question is: Did they really DO IT!! Did Sunny and Lee Hyuk actually have sex? Also, will the writer be one who it "only takes one time to make a baby" or will they keep the drama of a lack of an heir going? Chun Woo Bin, AKA Na Wang Shik, is awfully careless with that gun! Thank goodness he found out about Yu Ra so fast. I thought they'd drag out him almost confessing who he was to Yu Ra forever. Thank you fast plot and pacing! This drama could have easily been slow as crap and boring. Every episode now seems like it's just gonna keep repeating myself about how foolish Yu Ra and Lee Hyuk are! They might as well hold a palace meeting and be like: "We're lovers!!!" This was definitely a fun episode in showing where everyone's places are. The Empress Dowager is too much a fool to believe that her enemies are smart. Smart enough to set her up. It's nice seeing Sunny's sister working. She has a good business head. I was surprised! (I'm so sure that's her.) It's so fun! Ah!! I was hoping Sunny would be an asset. That despite what the royals that she's good PR for them. The diplomats love her! It's like having a K-pop idol representing the country! Yeah! I think for a moment even Lee Hyuk was a bit won over. I loved that group shot ending! >_< Wouldn't that be grand if a meeting of diplomats coould end like that?

So it was a lift! Is that normal. That seems dangerous. Like a really good thing to go wrong and well kill someone. Because wow, they're gonna kill Sunny right after the "I dos". Then after all that Lee Hyuk is not even showing up. Not showing up to check on his wife or show any worry. I mean a bodyguard climbed up there to save his just made bride's life! All he cares about is fleeing!? He clearly ordered the hit! So why be a coward and not a hero?So I'm wondering how much Grand Empress Dowager knows? I feel like she loves Sunny so much that she would never had brought Yu Ra back if she had the slightest clue that an affair would happen. Or had happened. After all she looked very suspicious with Yu Ra and Lee Hyuk together. Oh, I'll do my best to assist you. Off a cliff! My goodness!!! Yo Ra is so crafty! She's setting up Sunny for failure I'm sure. Not to mention the ending scene! She's so brazen. That massage was so dangerous! She's just flaunting how much Lee Hyuk wants her. She doesn't even care if Sunny would find out. Maybe she wants Sunny to. It just seems like it would be foolish to kill or let Sunny know about the affair. It's too soon. Red Flags! The bodyguard interactions are great. So far. It's super cool. After all he sees everything going on. Chun Woo Bin will be better than a servant position because the body guards can, and have to, go everywhere. They're the best spies. So Chun Woo Bin should be able to not only figure out the truth, but figure out who and how to take people out. All of a sudden the Empress Dowager is super cartooney. Her acting just went over the top. Though I fear the director might be amping that up. Phew, it was super attention. So intense I did a double watch to laugh! I really wondered if Yu Ra would go back "home" and clean up evidence that she existed there. I do cheer Yu Ra on and love her character. To be that cold about Ma Pil Joo roughing up her child was off putting. I know she's cold and can do whatever she wants to get power and money, but ouch! My girl isn't fierce she's a lethal cruel. Though she did not stay winning long! Yu Ra lost hard and fast thanks to Lee Hyuk being so careless. I mean he was such a fool to leave that type of a confession laying around in his car. Ah, so that's how it happens. The Empress Dowager would rather have anyone then Yu Ra. So Sunny looks good. Not to mention I'm sure Empress Dowager thinks she has all the power over Sunny and her family. I feel so awful that Sunny's father just offered her up like that.I feel like shows and dramas forget that you don't beat up your lackeys! Clearly Ma Pil Joo forgot this. Maybe that's why he has incompetent lackeys. All the good lackeys want respect. Yeah, Sunny!! Lee Hyuk got turned down! Sunny is one smart cookie. She should listen to her instincts. I mean after he coldly turned her away, there's no way he'd do a 180. Not to mention they have not had enough time to fall in love. Lee Hyuk good though. Despite myself, and of course knowing that he's a bad guy not to mention motivations, I was swooning right along with Sunny. Wow, that's a movie proposal indeed. Okay. Is the old man the guard that the Empress Dowager wronged? Because that would make since. I mean he's got those fighting skills and clearly has some connection to the royal family. A bad grudge. He also knows how to help Na Wang Shik. Who has a ticking time bomb bullet in his head! They are pulling out all the stops! The Rocky music was too much! But awesome. Transform sequence! I totally knew he was gonna transform to become a bodyguard for the Emperor. Look out Lee Hyuk. Sunny's sister is a very smart girl. Though I really wish we'd get to see the sisters talk. Also, this is gonna alter her life! So she has every right to be upset. I also feel like she is genuinely worried for Sunny.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssss! I was hoping after Kim Dan danced with Yeon Seo, albeit very drunk, that he would be her ballet partner! Just think about it!!! Maybe his Angel powers can help him. Or since they had a childhood connection and Mr. Jo mentioned a friend from the past that Kim Dan, while alive, was that friend. A friend with dance skills. So it all comes back to him? How cool would that be? If this is just a Red herring I will be so disappointed. I keep trying to make this drama more, but I like this idea. Two things are also very clear. Ni Na's dad is just pretending to be the good guy. He's not just his wife's henchman. He smartly devised a plot for her to still evidence from Yeon Seo's house, not to mention burned it for her. What an act. Not to mention his wife is cruelly evil. She has no pity for the cruelty she's caused to Yeon Seo. Nor can comprehend the cold and rude attitude she loaths was created by her. Secondly Ni Na has it bad for Kang Woo.It's still unclear why Kang Woo is so obsessed with Yeon Seo. It has something to do with that mystery person and I doubt it all about him being a super fan. I'm very curious how that will turn out. Not to mention when Kim Dan will actually start helping Kang Woo to get Yeon Seo. Cause Kim Dan is just checking off boxes on wooing her.Yeon Seo is pretty cruel. Not to mention the lengths she went to make poor Kim Dan suffer! So cruel! Though I get it. With your family actively trying to kill you, maim if she's lucky, you'd be pretty messed up. I totally believe they killed her parents. If they didn't I'd be shocked. We're definitely getting to know the characters more now and I like it. Though Kang Woo is still a huge mystery and he needs to be developed now! Oh, and I think Yeon Seo is gonna have to do the house hold chores! I mean she fired everyone. I think that would help her recover. Cause she didn't do any of that before . . . so she doesn't need someone there. THough that won't work because she should be able to do other things then . . . oh well.

Archangel Hoo's comments about this being the 21st centruy were priceless! But so awesome. Honestly I feel quite bad for Ni Na's father. He got the picture clearly that his wife is quite capapble of stopping someone from getting their eye transplant, murder, and then spying on her own niece. Holy crap. Yeon Seo's should be super afraid. Also, smarter. How many attempts have been made on her life?? Girl has got to change and do something. Like maybe downsize to a safe house with no servants to spy and plot against you? Since that was her first, and correct assumption. I'm relieved she was right. "Quit bing adventurous with my body."Ummmmmm. Is Yeon Seo the real pervert? Or did something get lost, or in this case added, to the translation? Well that was fast, no more pity for Ni Na's father. Because he clearly knows what his wife is doing. Then he sets it up so that they throw a surprise party for Yeon Seo so that she can get the evidence. The woman could have blinded, if not killed, Yeon Seo with the first attempt. Now wonder Yeon Seo is that way. Her own family only has evil intentions. I wonder how long it's gonna take Kim Dan to start protecting Yeon Seo. I know he's an Angel, but that doesn't mean he's stupid. He should know how people owrk. I mean he was in charge of animals, but that shows the ugliness as well as the good in people.Ha-ha. Yeon Seo's butler knows what she's doing. Getting Kim Dan drunk was the only way they'd both compromise themselves. That whole dance was very cute! She was charmed. So Kang Woo is her rib and Kim Dan is supposed to help her love. Yet, Kim Dan already is back tracking on thinking Kang Woo is her distny. Not to mention all the fan service Kim Dan is laying on Yeon Seo. He's supposed to be helping Kang Woo get the girl, but Kim Dan will be her fated one. Or something. Not to mention is the girl Kang Woo keep pulling up his sister, or old romance? Oh, the whole dog chocolate thing was so stupid! Kim Dan would know chocloate kills dogs! Why are they making him so pathectic and clueless! He is residing in the human world. I'm sure he's taken puppies lives over chocolate misshaps. I guess getting a clueless male lead is just as annoying as the female lead. Especially when it's clear they should be smarter and have this knowledge!

Yikes, Lee Hyuk walked right into that. Yu Ra my dear! You over reached and got whacked by the Empress Dowager . Ha-ha! You can just see that moment in Sunny's performance were Lee Hyuk and Empress Dowager just look at each other and he's like: "You happy you one upped me? Hmmmmmm? You brought that into our lives!" Ha-ha! Though just when I thought my brilliant Yu Ra was really losing she had it all planned. Though Lee Hyuk is really letting me down. I mean why would he leave such damning evidence against Yu Ra in his car. He has to know that his people are most likely his mother's! Only Yu Ra is on his side right now! Ma Pil Joo seems to be on his side, but I thought maybe he worked for the royal family in general.It's all about loyalties. Na Wang Shik looked like a head graze until the guy who saved him (who just happens to be a fighter and apparently super guy because they're just waiting to find youngsters to help with revenge) said the bullet is in his head! I found his scenes a bit over done, but the boy has been wronged! Overall this was pretty darn awesome. I love seeing everyone one upping each other! Yu Ra does an excellent "winning" face! She better watch out though! The Empress Dowager knows how skilled Yu Ra is now! She'll be out for more than just blood. She wants to gangster her butt in cement! It is cruel for Sunny's dad to take that money and set his daughter up like that. Not a word. He knows it's wrong and isn't good for her, but his greed is talking. Now that Lee Kyuk has turned her down how will Sunny end up marrying the man?

Yu Ra is freaking amazing! I thought that she was just giving him the recording as blackmail. Instead she was making it look like she was taking the blame and committing suicide. Which then made Emperor Lee Hyuk change his mind. By showing she'd commit suicide for him she won his loyalty. Once heck of gamble! She's awful, but I admire and respect her. You go girl!On that note if the Empress had simply not put surveillance like that I'm pretty sure Lee Hyuk would have trusted her with everything. Though it is fun watching them tap dance around each other. I knew it though! Don't mess with Kang Eun Ran because she was getting all geared up to bride block Yu Ra. She'd rather have Sunny as a daughter-in-law then Yu Ra. To be fair Yu Ra is a worthy advisory. Though I can't help it! At this point I am TEAM YU RA and I'm enraged for her. Lee Hyuk and Yu Ra are the ultimate bad guy couple. Which are so rare in dramas, especially K-dramas!!! That said I still don't care for Sunny, though not much is done to really develop her. She's just an annoying clumsy lead. Though she should listen to her instincts about Lee Hyuk wanting something from her. Her sister is no fool. I was stunned by the head shot! I mean it's no spoiler that Na Wang Shik comes back skinny, but a head shot? How is that gonna work out? Darn there are so many holes and fixer upper bits in this drama, but I'm hooked. So I'm in! I won't keep ragging on how I shouldn't like this, because screw that! This is fun!
